This was more a guidebook to St. Petersburg than an actual romance book. But hey, I now want to visit Russia, so I gave it a bonus star for that! (lol)

I really have enjoyed the books in the series that I have read. My only complaint would be some of them read like a history lesson and too much odd info such as hotel reviews etc. It's very distracting and almost had me stopping this one.

-no cheating
-no ow/om drama
-no pushing away
-some steam
-no violence of a sexual nature
-good epilogues several years on the future

Possessive Russian

Possessive Russian was an ok read other than a couple of typos. However I absolutely HATE when this author writes 3-5 pages of brochure or website material about either a restaurant, resort or in this case a museum. It’s just not necessary. I would much rather have the H or h describe what it’s like. 99% of the time I don’t even bother reading the description. It turns me off the book and makes it hard to finish. That being said this book was good but it did sag just a bit. Can’t wait for the next one

This was an okay story and I thought the double epilogues were actually better than the story itself. Had it not been for them I would have given it two stars. There was definite insta-love, like on the second day they are engaged. Even though they were speaking of their love after a couple of days I just didn't feel it. I wasn't convinced. They were saying the words but it wasn't believable. I did feel it, though, in the epilogues.

Alice was traveling to Saint Petersburg Russia to deliver a thumb drive to whom her father called his best friend, Artem. He had known Alice since she was born but hadn't seen her since she was a babe. There are twists and turns seventy five percent into the book that made it a bit more interesting.

This is the first book I have read by Flora Ferrari. I have to say I'm not sure if I am going to mesh with this author's style.

I liked parts of this story but I didn’t love it as much as some of the other books in this series. I did find parts of this story slow and it was a struggle to keep my attention on what was going on the first few chapters. I also have a confession, the reviews Alice looked up on places she went, I skipped. As with the last three books that had a trip advisor style reviews, I didn’t like. I liked Artem and Alice as separate characters but we didn’t get much of them separate.
I did see some chemistry between Artem and Alice but not a lot. I think part of that could be due to me not loving the story and finding it slow. That being said, I really enjoyed the second half of this story and the epilogue.
I wasn’t a fan of Alice’s ‘’father’’. I hated that he ignored Alice and constantly guilt tripped her over something that wasn’t her fault. He put her in danger by sending her to Russia for a package only for her to then learn what type of man he truly was. That being said, if Alice hadn’t gone to Russia she wouldn’t have met Artem.
I really liked the airport scene. I liked the emotion it brought out and the new person in Alice’s life.
So overall, I wasn’t a big fan of the first half but I really liked the second half.
The storyline for this book is fairly easy to follow and a quick read.

This one was really good. I enjoyed how she was able to find out the truth about her past. Even though it sucked what happened. Thankfully in the end she was reunited and got to be happy. She definitely deserved it.

You know one of the many things that I love about Flora Ferrari is that she really researches her storylines so very well to make them so that they are both informative [the way she talks about the metro stations in Russia that are almost like museums with the beautiful art work in them [this is true as my Mum and Dad visited Russia a few years ago and we've got photos just showing how beautiful they are] ]. Alice has been brought up by her uncaring father and no mother as he told her that she died giving birth to her and he uses this as 'blackmail' whenever he wants to manipulate her. When he finishes high school he sends her as a 'present' to Russia and asks her to collect something from his best friend who will meet her! This is how she meets the gloriously dangerous inked Artem. Artem is so much more than she expected. With his dark brooding looks and confidence she knows that she wants him to make her a woman. Fortunately, he is mesmerised by her and knows that she is HIS. As he saved her life when they met, she al;ready considers him to be her hero and as the twists in the storyline are revealed the reader will appreciate just how much a hero he really is. To say this is a hot and steamy story is like saying chocolate is 'okay' to a chocoholic. It is STEAM HEAT and yet so sweet and romantic too. The way he takes her to the bridges and cares for her is just so wonderful. There are sad and powerful aspects to this book but such great characters and I loved the epilogues too! Alice's father sends her to Russia as a "gift" but once she gets there she finds out that he has other plans. She is to collect an item for him and bring it back to the states with her. However Artem has other plans for her. Artem is supposed to make sure she is safe and protected while in Russia but nothing prepared him for the need he would have to claim her for his own. Alice shouldn't be drawn to Artem because of how possessive his is but it makes her want him more. He protects her with everything he's got and he is more honest with her than anyone she knows. Will Artem convince Alice to stay with him? Can Alice make a good decision with all lies she's been told?

This is an amazing story about a betrayal years long and this story will continue to captivate you until the very end. The chemistry between Alice and Artem is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this to any book lover.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Alice and Artem. Alice has left Miami and come to Russia to have a vacation or at least that is what her father told her until she got to Russia. That is when she learns the truth. He sent her there to retrieve a USB drive and bring it back to him in the US. However things don't quite go as planned. Artem is sent to make sure his best friend's daughter gets the USB drive and is kept safe while in Russia. However one look at her and he is hooked. He knows that he wants this woman more than his next breath. Can they find a HEA or will outside influence make sure that never happens?

This book is amazing. This author has another amazing hit on her hands. There is so much I want to tell you about this book. However I don't want to ruin any of the surprises in this book for any other readers. I will tell you this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Wow brilliant

Wow brilliant book full of twists turns and love. Alice arrives at Russia waiting for her fathers best friend Artem where they agreed to meet but a man tries and takes her for him to end up on the floor and her walking away with this solid rock. Artem nobody touches what is his and Alice is his when he sees her for
the first time. Alice and Artem eventually act on their attraction to each other but before that Artem proposes to Alive only answer is yes. The next morning Alice is looking for her passport and can’t find it Artem has it but has something big to tell her. Alice’s world as she thinks she knows it has been blown apart by what Artem tells her and when all the info archives has been got she knows his story is correct now to move forward but what is her father going to say about her being engaged to Artem?? You will have to read to find the answer to that one.

I really enjoyed this book because the author actually did a lot research on St Petersburg, Russia. I even went online to check out some of the locations that Artem took Alice to visit and found the information to be spot on. I even looked up Nick Trend who wrote the review on the UK Telegraph that Alice checked out on her phone.. Not only was the story very good it was so informative about a place I thought as cold and harsh and in no way romantic, so if gave me a whole different perspective of that country..

I just love that more and more of Flora books are adding more information with twist and turns that the reader don't expect, and not just the quick insta love with no more then 12 chapters, but giving reader a full love story..

Bravo Flora, hope this is a best seller for you!

Alice is to meet her father's best friend but tall and tattooed Artem was a surprise.
Alice is at the Avtovo metro station in Saint Petersburg, Russia to meet her father's best friend. A man grabs her shoulder but she is saved by tall and tattooed Artem and her whole body reacts to him. He hands her a small USB thumb drive for her father then a set of Russian nesting dolls for herself. Artem looks at this beautiful young woman and thinks MINE and knows he must win her. The two go sight seeing with Artem acting as guide and get closer but as with most stories set in Russia there are mysteries, intrigues and deceptions. An age gap romance to relax and enjoy.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is another older man/ younger woman romance between Alice and Artem. Alice goes to Russia as a vacation from her father for graduating high school and he asks her to pick up a flash drive for him while there. Artem is her father's best friend and he sees her at the subway station and helps her retrieve the flash drive. When Artem sees Alice, he knows she is destined to be his. Alice is a virgin and thinks Artem is the man she was waiting for. When they spend more time together, Artem knows he has to reveal secrets to Alice that could change everything. This was another great steamy read from Flora. I love her books, they are always about a young woman and an older dominate alpha male who wants to protect her. Great one.

How can an author write the same genre of older man younger woman over and over and yet still make each new one fresh and interesting somehow Flora Ferrari manages to do that

This is the story of Alice who is to meet he father fried Artem at Atvov station when someone tries to steal her bag she is rescued by a tall tattooed man it is Artem. She Thinks he is hot all Artem can think is mine he decides to show her around his city and the passin flares between them but will there love be able to conquer her father prejudice. This was a slightly different story for this author has she threw in some drama and intrigue giving it a unique twist I would highly recommend this book as a great read to spend a few hours with

I loved the Possessive Russian by Flora Ferrari. Alice goes to Russia after graduation and her father needs her to pick up a USB drive while she is there. She gets so much more than she bargained for. Artem is her dad's best friend who first sees her at the subway station. Artem is blown away by Alice and is determined to make her his forever. They spend an amazing few days together with Artem showing her the museums and all the sights of his country. Alice is quickly falling in love. However, there are secrets he will eventually have to reveal. How will Alice react to his shocking revelations? Will she believe his incredible story? This story has it all- insta-love, drama and intrigue. I loved the chemistry between Alice and her sexy possessive Russian!

As always an amazing read when it comes to Flora Ferraris stories. This has got a great story line and plot.
Characters are well described. It is on the shorter side but has a lot in it.
She has fallen for her fathers best friend that is much more than she thought he would be. A story that is captivating and keeps the reader on the edge because of the twists.
I have a turn off when I read stories and that is when the authors writes page up and down about a place, website or whatever. That destroys the passion in the story. A bit is okay but if I want to know more I can go seek it out myself.
A sweet story with passionate characters. Worth the read!

When he causes a diversion, Artem realizes that keeping Alice out of harm's way just might put his heart in jeopardy because one look into Alice's eyes and he is hooked on the American beauty, but danger lurks all around and it is up to Artem to keep her safe. Now all he has to do is come up with a way to tell his best friend that he is captivated by his daughter, and they are going to spend the rest of their lives together.

I am sorry and I know I’m in the minority because everyone else has loved this book and I am not saying I didn’t enjoy it because I’m glad I read it but it just wasn’t my favourite, the characters were likeable, the storyline was good but it just seemed like there was a lot going on but it just skimmed over things whereas it could of made more of the storyline if parts had been finished off more, but like I said still happy to have read it 😊

Ok I get it. St. Petersberg Russia is a singulary beautiful and unique city. I felt like the author was writing part travelogue part romance.

The romance part was good and pretty hot and I even enjoyed that the author researched or is very familiar with the setting. But she devoted 6 pages to describing the Hermitage museum that could have come straight from a Fodor's travel book.

Aside from that the story was intriguing, the h was way too sophisticated for 18 but hey, I can get past that. Good read for a freebie.

This quick read had me salivating from the first page til the very last.

The instant chemistry between Artem & Alice was palpable at times & such a sweet story, as usual, to melt the readers heart.

I seriously recommend this read to everyone - It's a wonderful read that I just couldn't put down.

I really enjoyed this story. Artem and Alice were great. This book seem to have had a little more mystery involved in it which made it such a fun read with an element of suspense of what was really going on. The chemistry between the two was hot and steamy. As always Ms Ferrari draws us in with the wonderful characters in her book. Very entertaining with a great HEA.

Alice figured she would go to Russia, do a favor and celebrate her high school graduation. She never expected to fall in love with a possessive Russian who would do anything and wants nothing more than to claim her. Artem fell for Alice the minute he set eyes on her. Nothing is truly as it seems in their world except for their love for each other. The turtle scene was absolutely adorable.

Safety gang approved

This was another great safe read. No cheating, virgin h, no mention of H's sexual past but pretty sure he's been celebate for at least 18 years+. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the long descriptions or the history of places or things I feel was unnecessary. Some may like this but it's just not my thing. In no way, though will this deter me from reading more from this author. I look forward to every new release.

I am a huge fan of Flora Ferrari and absolutely enjoy reading this olderman younger women series. If you have not started reading them you really need to do yourself a favour and start. They can be read in any order and you won’t be sorry. They have sexy reads, with great well developed characters you will enjoy reading about. I also absolutely love the extended epilogues.
