Yooooo !!! Let’s talk about deceit to the highest degree. Once you do that then you can name it Tia and give it a dance 💃 this book has been a roller coaster of shenanigans and I am looking forward to what happens next. 😍

Salinger and Tia end up making their connection stronger and their friendship bonds stronger in this book ; from that comes a deep love. She has trusted him with her identity, and he is standing by her. They work together to get Giles home. Salinger isn't good with words, so he tries to show Tia his feeling through action. Salinger is a man of deep and intense feelings. It is shown that in this book, he is deeply in love with his wife. We get to see Salinger open up and step up in this book. All the guys learn who Tia really is and who she is running from. Now we have to worry about her becoming pregnant and surviving which the future depends on. They manage to get Giles release but another crisis hops up and the book ends in another cliffhanger. Great read –cant wait to see what happens next.

Well, if I thought that shit has hit the fan in the previous book, I was wrong. I feel like, with every new book out, things are escalating more and more, with no end in sight. Like every time you think "how much worse could things get?", the authors decide to show how exactly how much worse it could be.
And that damn ending! How am I supposed to sit here, calmly waiting for the next book to come out, after a cliffhanger like that? So unfair.

I really liked this installment in the Six Men of Alaska series. In fact, it is my favorite installment so far. The plot is starting to move very fast now and the dangers that Tia and her men face are bigger than ever.
For the complete second half of this book, I was on the edge of my seat and that cliffhanger was brutal! A big part of me wanted to immediately jump into the next book without writing a review for this one, just so I could find out what happens next. I honestly have no clue how readers of this series waited for each new installment to be released. It would have tortured me.
Going into this book, I was worried about the relationship between Tia and Salinger. They hadn't really spent a lot of time together and I had no emotional investment in their relationship as a result. I am happy to say that that was resolved in this book. For such a small book and with so much outside of their personal relationship happening, I am surprised at how much development of Tia and Sal's relationship I got.
Overall, I really liked this book. I was pleasantly surprised with it and I am happy I read it. Of course I will be continuing the series with the next book, The Wife Code: Banks .

Ok so here's the thing, I've read two books from this series and I can guarantee that the story is getting better by the sec. I mean, the first book was a novelty, a genre that I don't normally read but being written by someone that I really adore I gave it a try. And guess what? I freaking loved it. It was new, it was refreshing it was wild and so much more but after if ended I was mad. Mad because I wanted more so I just had to wait for book two. Then it happened all over again. Read, fall in love, cry, scream and so much more but then it ended so fast and I was like WTF? Where's the rest of it? I nagged the authors and here it is... Book three and I'm so happy but scared at the same time.
The Wife Gambler: Salinger is the third book from the Six Man of Alaska series and Dayum... What a series.
As you might had understand already, this book is not a standalone. In order for you to understand this series you need to know the characters and tart from the beginning. Trust me that you will love it.
This book continues to explore Tia's story as well Salinger, but it will keep giving us glimpses of the other guys.
Salinger is used to have everything he wants. He seen by others as a pawn on his father's game. Being the Director son can be a good or a bad thing. But he's hiding so much...
Dayum... I'm at loss of words right now. I mean, I knew what I was gonna find but Dayum... I wasn't prepared for this...
The plot is intense, super engaging, fast paced.
The way the story progressed in an intense and suspensefull way that was giving me the chills. One moment and I was thinking one thing and the next I was overwhelmed with the development.
Get ready for some steaming hot scenes that will make you blush and desire it yourself.
Jesus girls... What are you doing? And seriously... End it like that....
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Him: I love you so so much, you are my hole world and I will do anything for you
Her: but you want a baby, knowing there is 90% chance of me dying during labor
Him: yeah but cmon I need to leave a legacy behind, I love you ..but I care more about that because im an insecure little man that contradict himself when saying I love you more then anything 🫤😒😒😒
They all say they love her more then anything in this world, and yet they are all trying to get her pregnant knowing the chances of her dying giving birth are high asf. Don't sell this as romance, sell this as
being unlucky asf for getting not 1, but 6 stupid husbands that don't give a f**k about you as long as they compete with each other of whom will leave a legacy behind with the cost of your life 👎👎👎

No More Secrets!

This series getting better and better, Tia is in love with all her husbands and they are all in love with her, although Banks is still iffy. Salinger finally stands up to his father the Director and the creator of the Wife Lottery in defense of his wife. He knows her true identity and accepts her for who she is, not where she came from. But will her other husbands accept her big secret as easily as Salinger, or will they turn her over to the man at the door.

Can it be that a father will use his only daughter as a guinea pig either as punishment for the death of his love at childbirth, or could it be that the love of a father would push him to obsess about a future for his daughter, in a world were womankind is doomed to extinction?

As I have stated in earlier reviews, I don't normally read the multiple man/one woman story. Normally, that is, until Chantel Seabrook has a hand in writing one. I have read every other book of hers, and decided to give this one a chance. I wasn't just pleasantly surprised, I was blown away. I didn't know how they could keep the interest level, but each book is as different as the man it is centered around. I don't want to include any spoilers, so suffice it to say that this tells a lot more about the founder of the lottery itself. So I highly recommend this book and in fact the whole series. You will lose yourself in it!
(P.S. I hope it won't spoil it for anyone, but Salinger (and his relationship with his parents) is fast becoming my favorite part of this series)

Tia’s still frustrating, but I was glad to see she opened up. Salinger’s cool. He earned some cool points and the steam was nice. The story also picked up but somehow I’m left wanting a little more.

Ugh

I was enjoying this series til now. The manwhore aspects in this book were gross and lacked creativity because all of the recent romances I've read either have current or former msnwhores/playboys in them, and it's old, boring, tired, and gross. Her reactions weren't remotely believable. She got over the brothel stuff way too fast and with much less jealousy is to be expected at all in the slightest. Then there was more mention of Huxley's and Salinger's past sexual partners and Banks' tastes. The past sexual stuff of characters doesn't belong in books. Sal mentioning payinh prostitutes with his skills? That was disgusting and unnecessary. He should have totally ceased being around them or that place once he was married. His behavior was unacceptable and insensitive. Banks' tastes? I'm assuming he's going to end up being a dom? Boring, way overdone, and it doesn't fit right. It saddens me because I adore Frankie Love/Charlie Hart, but stuff is just not right.

Six Men of Alaska
by Charlie Hart  (Author), Chantel Seabrook
A Post Apocalyptic, Dystopian, Reverse Harem Romance in 6 books

Titles:
The Wife Lottery: Fallon
The Wife Protectors: Giles
The Wife Gamble: Salinger
The Wife Code: Banks
The Wife Pact: Emerson
The Wife Legacy: Huxley

I love te new type of romance – the Reverse Harem, but I have loved the Post Apoc and Dystopian genres since I picked up Z for Zachariah way way way back in 8th grade. Bear in mind, the novel is very different from the horrid movie that even Netflix and Hulu want nothing to do with. The 6 Men of Alaska picks up with the current fear, driven both by the predicted outcome of China's One Child policy of the 80s and 90's and the preference for male children in India, Pakistan and China. There are more men than women. This fear actually dates as far back as Frank Herbert's The White Plague, where a madman cooks up a virus to wipe out women. Of course some women remain at the end, and he postulates that they will need to take more than one husband to save mankind.
Writers from Margaret Atwood (the Handmaid's Tale) to Sherri S Tepper (The Gate to Woman's Country) to genre master Rebecca Royce have all played with the concept.
Ms. Hart and Ms. Seabrook take the cue from wildness of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest in general to create a depressingly possible and stunningly deep world, where due to tinkering again with a virus, men have made women either infertile or unable to carry girl infants because either they, the babies or both will die in the process. We enter this world why there are more than 10 men for every woman. Alaska, separating itself from the imploding (cough cough) USA. They have declared themselves a Sanctuary (cough cough) for women. With one hitch. Young, fertile women will be put into the lottery and gain themselves not one but six husbands. Husbands they didn't choose. Tia is on the run, trying to find freedom from her past. At 21 and healthy she is put into the lottery and wins 6 amazing men. Men who have painful and even tragic pasts, who want nothing more than family.
The relationships are interesting and romantic, if not for the fact the Tia has exactly one problem resolution skill – sex with one or more of her dudes. At first, this is sweet as the virgin grows to know her husbands and how to seduce them. But the sex ends up be being a play by play of almost the exactly the same. Even with the one male character who has a Dom hidden in him. That last like 2 widely separated scene.
The struggles that they go through and the people who either help or hinder them are exceptionally well drawn as is the dark world around them.
I enjoyed the book, I really loved the mix of genres, but I just couldn't get over Tia's single way to resolve any uncomfortable emotion or any uncomfortable discussion. Even though she was basically kept locked up in way we have seen since the Bronte's, her husbands have not and they are old enough and have enough experience to sit her down and Dr. Phil her.

Please note: I received this books via Kindle Unlimited and read them pretty much all in a row like a single book, hence why they are being reviewed that way.

Oh my goodness, this series just keeps getting better and better! This dystopian setting offers a woman's view of her best fantasies as well as her worst nightmares. Tia may have six strong, hot, sexy, devoted husbands (who wouldn't want all that?!) but she also must remember that her first priority is to get pregnant, even though the odds of surviving a pregnancy are slim to none.

These authors skillfully blend the romance and relationships between Tia and each of her husbands, focusing on the backstory of a different one in each book, while also telling the gripping story of a world where fertility is far from common and where politics and world governments conspire to control the science behind the continuity of the human race. It's a complex fictional environment, but the storytelling is so vivid, so brilliant, that all the interconnected parts are easy to follow and the reader is not lost in the maelstrom.

This book focuses on Salinger, whose connections to the Powers-That-Be in Alaska give him a unique perspective on the Wife Lottery. On a personal level, he's been reluctant to pursue a relationship with Tia, but a situation forces them to rely on each other against outside agents, and the two of them start to build a rapport that allows them to open up to each other.

One of her husbands is in danger, while another is still not out of the woods from the situation described in the previous book. The threats against this budding family of seven only increase as their relationships - not just with Tia but with each other - grow stronger and prepare them for the coming war.

This book, and this entire series, has plenty of old-fashioned love and hot and steamy sex laid against a backdrop of a taut political thriller that will keep you glued to your kindle and anxiously awaiting the next book. I don't remember when I've enjoyed a series more, and that's despite my usual avoidance of both reverse harem and dystopian stories. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Salanger and Tia forge a connection, and a friendship, that becomes a strong love. She has trusted him with her identity, and he is standing by her. The meeting with his mother goes better than expected. Tia hold her own. They work together to get Giles home. Salanger isn't good with words, so he tries to show Tia his feeling through action. It doesn't go as he planned, once Tia understands, she want their first time to be at his secret place. Giles is in bad shape, but he is home. Emmerson is out to sea. Tia know she has to tell her husbands who she is, as soon as Em is home. Time is running out, her father in in Alaska and has met with the director. Her blood work shows some abnormalities that could only be the results of experimentation. Tia has revealed all her truths to her husbands, but time has run out. Lawson is at the door.
Fast past, emotionally charged, and steamy, ends in a hold your breath cliffhanger, hate that. Loved Sal and Tia's story. Can't wait for Tia and Banks' story

Salinger, I was so ready for his book, He was one of the husbands that was a bit of a mystery, he seemed so laid back and he didn't even enter the lottery, his Dad entered him . I had so many questions about Sal and his family that are kinda like the Government of Alaska. Salinger really steps up and stands with Tia, when before he was kinda like an outsider , or he just didn't seem to care and he didn't act like he wanted to be with the family,(Tia and her Husbands). We see that he is very intense in his feelings and does have true feelings for Tia. A few of the guys are put at risk, and everything seems to be following apart, Sal really opens up and steps up. I really like him, not my favorite but like him so much more. All the guys learn who Tia really is and who she is running from. Now we have to worry about her becoming pregnant and surviving which the future depends on. These all end in Cliffhangers but the next book is usually released within a month so I don't forget anything and we don't have to wait long which I am so grateful for. I am ready to learn all about the Doctor next.

This is book 3 of the Six Men of Alaska series and this book starts where book 2 finished. This is Tia’s and Salinger’s story, Tia finally gets Giles home and he is in really bad shape. Salinger is another one of Tia’s husbands and he’s been reluctant in starting a relationship with Tia until they are forced into a situation and they have to start working together. I didn’t like a few things that Salinger done especially with the prostitutes but he eventually steps up and acts like the husband he should be to Tia. A fantastic read and I can’t wait for the next book and the next husband, it ends in a cliffhanger again but I guess that’s what happens in a series and what a series it is. The best husband for me so far is Giles, he’s a kind hearted soul who’s been beaten to an inch of his life ( book 2 ) and I want to bring him home to look after him myself. There’s plenty of action, adventure, drama and hot sizzling scenes to keep you turning the pages and to keep you entertained. I highly recommend this book but you do need to start from book 1 you will love it as much as I do and it’s definitely well worth the read.

This is book three in the series, six men of Alaska.
This is Salinger and Tia’s story
I wanted to dislike Salinger he seemed aloof to me compared to the other husbands but in true. Charlie/Chantel fashion I grew to love him as much as the others.
Salinger didn’t ask to be entered into the lottery but he is taking it in his stride. He and Tia grow close over shared secrets. Giles is cleared of a crime & sent home but Emerson has been sent to sea & Fallon has been called into help. Tia knows it’s only a matter of time before the husbands find out the secrets she has been keeping from them but will they treat Salinger differently knowing he was helping to keep Tia’s secrets? On top of all of this Tia’s father and betrothed have come to Alaska, why are they here? Do they know Tia is in Alaska? Time in running out. This story is action packed, romantic & hot hot hot. I can’t wait for the next book.

Wow. I didn't think this series could get any better but it has. We are shown so much in this book. The reason why Salinger is the way he is, what happens to Giles, what happens when Tia's past comes back, what happens when that car journey end with meeting Salenger mom. It was an emotional time for her as she struggles with the news that Emerson may have gone down with his ship, that Giles is hurting so much and that Huxley and Salenger have a brothel.

When the men find out who Tia is they all stand together, when Tia's nightmare ends up at their door what will be the next thing to happen? And Salinger's mom finds out something about Tia that even she doesn't know. I am so impatient for book 4 to come. I am really enjoying this book. I received an advanced reader copy of this book.

With every new book I am wondering if there can be any more excitement. And the answer is always yes. A lot of deep emotions, mixed with hot scenes and getting to know much better one of the husbands. This time it is Salinger, and I have to say, I was impressed. He is much more than you would see at the first glimpse. It was definitely worth to wait for his "arrival". In the same time, of course all the family is involved in the actions, so the story is never boring, even for a minute. The ending again promises a great next book, I want to read it already.

Each book in this series is written between one of the six husbands and this one is specific to Tia and Salinger. Salinger is a rather complicated character, not as complicated as Banks, but still rather deep. Salinger’s anger is written well and so is Tia’s fear. Written between two authors the transitions are smooth and it isn’t clear who wrote what.  The two authors work well together as their third book comes out. Each of the guys though not from their point of view in this story adds to everything that happens. Next book is from Banks point of view so it should be an interesting read. I love this series. This is the third book in and this one is just as good as the last two. Once started I couldn’t put it down, my only complaint is they all end on a cliffhanger, so I am on tender hooks, eagerly waiting for book four. This book has a great storyline with strong characters and is a quite hot, so not for under 18’s It’s not a standalone so you will need to read the two previous books to understand the story and characters. If you enjoy reverse hareem books, then you will really enjoy this series.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

What can I say other than I love this series!! Just when you think you know what is going to happen next the story twists and we get a surprise. In this book we learn more about Salinger and his parents. They are not what I expected but now we know why Salinger is the way he is. Tia and Salinger's relationship grows and they learn each other's secrets which brings them closer together. Great writing, dual point of views, amazing characters, drama, suspense and a unique storyline make this a 5-star read! I am so looking forward to reading the next book in this series. Wow, this series just keeps getting better with each book.

Sal and Tia are finally getting closer and their chemistry is off the charts. In this book, we not only get to see Tia and Sal truly fall in love with each other, but secrets are also revealed.
Ghosts can scare you when you see them in the flesh. ;)
This book sheds light on a lot of the dark/gray spots in the first two books. Oh, and let's just say Tia and Sal's sex scenes will set you on fire.

I can't wait for the next book, as this cliffhanger left me saying, "No, no they didn't." Over and over.

This series is getting better and better as each book is introduce and book 3 gives us more of Salinger his history, his wants and his desire. As you have read in prior book Sal has always been fighting his feeling for Tia but it ends when the family is once again faced with another event that may tear them apart. You can literally feel the intensity that everyone is experiencing as you read each page of this suspenseful read. Such an enjoyable and intriguing series that I highly recommend you start today. Salinger was the husband who didn’t seem as involved as the other husbands. His father entered him into the lottery and you wondered if his heart was in it and if it was what he really wanted. He is the one that Tia has confided in about her identity and because of that he finally shows how he really feels about her and when two of the husbands are in peril he is the one who supports Tia but what happens when her past resurfaces?

Full of emotion and suspense and the cliffhanger leaves you wanting more. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I’m sorry I’m not going to give any spoilers of any kind because I’m not the type that does that! So all I’m going to say about this book is that it’s a fantastic story and it grabs you attention from the first chapter and keeps you hooked right up until the very end. So yes I most definitely recommend this book for anyone who’s looking for a great story to get lost in. But start with book one if you haven’t read it and then book 2 and then finally work your way to this one otherwise you’ll get confused on who’s who and what is what.
