Book four into the six men of Alaska series sees us reading Bank's story. Charlie and Tia’s story was filled with intrigue, angst, passion, steamy, and intense moments. Tia comes face to face with her past while her husbands are given an ultimatum regarding her future. This book took us thru many ups and downs , and ends on a cliffhanger. I cant wait to read book 5 and see where the story goes next.

My Rating: 4.5 stars *****

Banks has always been my least favorite of the guys. He was bitter and callous, and he constantly behaved in a distant manner around Tia, to the point where I started questioning why he even entered the lottery in the first place. Also, he reminded me a lot of Tia's father. The only difference between them was that Banks had much more strict set of rules to follow and more limited resources to work with.
And now, having read the book, I'm still not exactly warmed up to him. Sure, we learned about his history and it was absolutely horrific. But even though his past can somewhat explain his behavior now, it does not, in any way, excuses it. So I don't think I'll be able to actually like Bank until he stops behaving like a cold, heartless dick. At the very least around Tia.
Of course, in terms of a plot, the books keep blowing my mind with every new twist and turn. I'm even a little scared of what the author will come up with next. But I'm definitely not going to stop reading. No way, no how.

The Power of a Woman!

OMG this series has gotten so intriguing and had me on the edge of my seat! Never underestimate the power of a woman! Tia has managed the impossible, she is breaking through the wall Banks has around his heart....Now she has all 6 husbands at her beck and call and all are willing to give their lives for her even Banks. As they prepare for the hardest thing they must get through in 2 months time, or Tia will have to go with her betrothed, Banks is working hard at the lab to make it work out so she can stay with them and not hand over the list of fertile women to Lawson.

There is a surprise in store for them all, will it be good, or bad?

I can't wait for the next book.....

3.25-3.5⭐️’s - i think I’m gonna put this series on hold for the moment. It feels like the rest of the books might be a bit too predictable based on what I’ve read thus far… but also because it doesn’t feel like a lot of the plot has evolved over the 4 books. Sex. Minor inconvenience. More sex. Sex. Kind of event that should have been more eventful but not. More sex. Minor event. Sex. It’s getting monotonous.

This ended as I predicted, but it was still a fun read. We get to know Banks' character, and we get some dynamics building up with him and some of the other male characters, which was nice. The tension between him and Tia was 👌🤰

I did not expect to be this hot and bothered by Banks. I mean, yes, all the sexy moments in this series have been it… but to have Banks be so domineering over Tia when they finally hit it -yes please! It’s the mild bdsm that did it for me. He was actually my least favorite husband at first but my mind is changed. A brainy, wounded, and surprisingly domineering sexy Alaskan man is a winner in my books. Giles is still my fave but you are now up there too, Banks ( ‾́ ◡ ‾́ )

Six Men of Alaska
by Charlie Hart  (Author), Chantel Seabrook
A Post Apocalyptic, Dystopian, Reverse Harem Romance in 6 books

Titles:
The Wife Lottery: Fallon
The Wife Protectors: Giles
The Wife Gamble: Salinger
The Wife Code: Banks
The Wife Pact: Emerson
The Wife Legacy: Huxley

I love te new type of romance – the Reverse Harem, but I have loved the Post Apoc and Dystopian genres since I picked up Z for Zachariah way way way back in 8th grade. Bear in mind, the novel is very different from the horrid movie that even Netflix and Hulu want nothing to do with. The 6 Men of Alaska picks up with the current fear, driven both by the predicted outcome of China's One Child policy of the 80s and 90's and the preference for male children in India, Pakistan and China. There are more men than women. This fear actually dates as far back as Frank Herbert's The White Plague, where a madman cooks up a virus to wipe out women. Of course some women remain at the end, and he postulates that they will need to take more than one husband to save mankind.
Writers from Margaret Atwood (the Handmaid's Tale) to Sherri S Tepper (The Gate to Woman's Country) to genre master Rebecca Royce have all played with the concept.
Ms. Hart and Ms. Seabrook take the cue from wildness of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest in general to create a depressingly possible and stunningly deep world, where due to tinkering again with a virus, men have made women either infertile or unable to carry girl infants because either they, the babies or both will die in the process. We enter this world why there are more than 10 men for every woman. Alaska, separating itself from the imploding (cough cough) USA. They have declared themselves a Sanctuary (cough cough) for women. With one hitch. Young, fertile women will be put into the lottery and gain themselves not one but six husbands. Husbands they didn't choose. Tia is on the run, trying to find freedom from her past. At 21 and healthy she is put into the lottery and wins 6 amazing men. Men who have painful and even tragic pasts, who want nothing more than family.
The relationships are interesting and romantic, if not for the fact the Tia has exactly one problem resolution skill – sex with one or more of her dudes. At first, this is sweet as the virgin grows to know her husbands and how to seduce them. But the sex ends up be being a play by play of almost the exactly the same. Even with the one male character who has a Dom hidden in him. That last like 2 widely separated scene.
The struggles that they go through and the people who either help or hinder them are exceptionally well drawn as is the dark world around them.
I enjoyed the book, I really loved the mix of genres, but I just couldn't get over Tia's single way to resolve any uncomfortable emotion or any uncomfortable discussion. Even though she was basically kept locked up in way we have seen since the Bronte's, her husbands have not and they are old enough and have enough experience to sit her down and Dr. Phil her.

Please note: I received this books via Kindle Unlimited and read them pretty much all in a row like a single book, hence why they are being reviewed that way.

Finally this book is here. Sweet lord I was so anxious to start this that I was nervous. Nervous because of the way the last book ended and scared at the same time. I think that I've already said all about these two author on my previous reviews but it's always good to say it again.
Charlie Hart and Chantel Seabrook have a writing that have the ability to work together. Each book was a breath of fresh air and the suspense were thought the roof. Each chapter is better than the last one and I couldn't stop.
The Wife Code is their latest release and continues to tell Tia's story but it also focuses on Banks story as well.
But before I tell you more about this book I need to tell you something. In order for you to understand this book you really should read all book in order.
Banks is a very reserved guy, but he can't stay immune to Tia. He's a cientist working on a cure to help woman all over the word especially his wife. He's a very reserved man, with some dark tastes. But can he keep up?
Dayum this series is getting better by the chapter. The plot is amazing, very well written, super engaging and intense. The interation between the characters is beautiful and sweet with some problems along the way.
The hot scenes are to die for. Each scene is so well described that I was getting hot...
The story progressed in a way that made me scream, or cry, or laugh or get scared shirtless. Jesus the suspense factor in super high and the unknown almost killed me.
Of course that this book ended with a bomb, just like the others and I can't wait for the next one.
Charlie and Chantel you want to kill me right? To drive me insane with curiosity? Dayum I can't wait for the next one. I want it now... Now...

What a terrific book even though I accidentally started in the middle of the series. However, when I saw the authors, I just clicked without reading the description. This series should be read in order and I am going back to read them all to get a better understanding of the back story. That being said, book four can be understood even if you have not read the previous three. This book continues the challenges that Tia and her six husbands face with a focus on the relationship between Tia and Banks. Banks is a stoic, reserved, and guarded man who has never let himself be vulnerable to another person due to an unfortunate event when he was growing up. He is a brilliant scientist searching for the cure to save the lives of the women and their babies who have a genetic defect that leads to their deaths. When Lawson, the man that Tia’s father sold her to, shows up and states that he wants her back or a list detailing the fertility of specific women, the time is ticking for Tia and her husbands. As he and Tia work together and grow closer, the reader is drawn into their emotional web and one cannot help but feel for them. This is one well written storyline with dynamic characters that demonstrates what a person will do for the ones he/she loves and will envelop any reader from the beginning. It does end in a cliffhanger which will have you salivating for the next book in the series.

I really liked this installment in the Six Men of Alaska series. It was fast paced, constantly had my attention, and filled with drama. It is definitely my favorite installment in the series so far. I had a lot of fun while reading it. Whenever I thought that Tia and her men couldn't be in any more danger, something else happened which caused me to constantly be on the edge of my seat while reading this.
Going into this book, I was excited to get Banks's point of view because he has always been closed off and distant. I knew that there must have been something in his early life to make him the way he is and I was desperate to find out what. I was so upset when I found out what happened to Banks and I felt really bad for him. What made me empathize with him even more was his need for constant control as a result. He was so scared to get close to Tia and lose her and it took a while for him to open up to her. But when he did, it was everything I wanted it to be and I felt like Charlie Hart set it up really well.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Though, I am a little confused about the cliffhanger at the end. I don't know exactly what it means or what impact it will have on the story, I just know that it can't be good. I will be continuing the series with the next book, The Wife Pact: Emerson .

This is an epic drop-everything-you-gotta-read-this-book series!

We got to see so much of Banks in the previous books, as he worked his doctor magic on those who needed him. Now, we get to go inside his head and discover why he's been so standoffish, and just how much he knows about Tia and her father. I loved the darker side of Banks; his history perfectly explains why he is this way and I loved that he was able to finally be himself with Tia.

I was impressed with Tia more in this book. I felt she really grew into herself here, having the opportunity to use her education and intellect so much more than before. I liked that she's taking a proactive approach to solving the huge problem that they all face, rather than just sitting around waiting for a cure.

The dynamics between the men continue to grow and deepen, strengthening their familial bonds with each other, not just with their shared wife. And oh, my, did things heat up between the sheets! Also on the kitchen floor, living room, office desk, and other places too. Tia is really learning to take full advantage of having six hot and sexy husbands! Make sure you have a fan and a cool drink nearby because this book will heat you up in all the best ways!

This series is so well written that it's guaranteed to be a reread for me. The dystopian setting is explained intelligently and within the bounds of possible, if not probable future events. It's scarily relatable, and while we may envy Tia's marital status and benefits, no one would envy her the reasons behind it all. The events are heightened realism, but the emotions are true to any situation, in any time period. These books are easy to get sucked into, and stay on your mind for a long time after the reading is done. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Book four into the six men of Alaska series sees us reading Bank's story. It's best to start at the beginning with this series because it would get confusing who the characters are and you would be missing parts in the story. In book three Lawson had arrived, Tia's betrothed or rather the man who her dad sold her to. We also get to go inside Bank's head and see the real him and why he is the way he is. Lawson wants Tia but he also wants something else, the list, something Salinger's mom holds on the fertility of certain women. If he gets the list then they can have Tia.

Bank's doesn't love, his dad saw to that with the harem he kept and the deaths of his many wives and children. When his dad had a debt men came to collect and Banks was also part of that. We see the interaction between the two characters and the rest of her husband's and how Banks won't make himself love her or get close to her. This book was quite emotional and had its ups and downs. But oh my gosh the ending had my heart in my mouth and I really can't wait for Emerson's story. This series is so brilliant and although each book finishes on a cliffhanger I loved it all thensame. Love this series. Loved Banks and Tia's story. Fast past, steamy, and intense, with some very sweet family moments.
Lawson makes a deal, they have 2 months. Their only out is if Tia is pregnant. Tia begins fertility treatments under Bank's careful watch.
She helps Banks with his research. Her brilliant mind sends Banks research in a direction with real hope for a cure.
Banks finally claims his wife and she enjoys submitting to him. Tia worms her way into Banks carefully guard heart. Slowly he becomes a true part of his family. He shares his story with Giles then Tia.
Tia's abnormal test results, present problems. Her ultrasound reveals something completely unexpected. Her father could become a real threat. Can't wait for Emerson and Huxley's stories.

This serial just gets better! Set in the 22nd century, this dystopian romance is emotionally charged; full of intrigue, suspense, and steamy ménage passion. The action picks up where “The Wife Gamble” left off. Tia comes face to face with her past while her husbands are given an ultimatum regarding her future. Are they willing to take whatever extreme measures are necessary to keep Tia? We also get insight into Banks that provides clarity for his behaviour and interactions with Tia and the other husbands. Tia begins to understand his need for control in all aspects of his life and why he is so driven. The ball is now in Tia’s court - is she willing to risk everything for a future with her husbands? I’m looking forward to the continuation of the suspense in “The Wife Pact”.

This was definitely the worst hook up to this point because it is VERY clear that Banks doesn’t love her at all. All he cares about is his work and progressing that forward and I can understand the need to save lives but he is the worst of all the men. He’ll throw her under the bus, and he does, if it means he gets what he wants. Also the line about how he doesn’t make love he fucks…I haven’t heard anything that cliche since I read the same line in 50 shades of grey.

You obviously feel some sympathy for Banks as you learn what he’s been through but that’s hard to do given all he’s done wrong. I did thaw to him towards the end but I can’t help but think he is a lot to blame for the position she is in

Additionally I didn’t see any trigger warnings for these books and there really should be especially this one ( TW: mentions of rape, mentions of abuse, on page abortion, death)

This is a continuation of Tia and her six husbands, each book focuses on one husband more than the others and this was Banks story. In the previous books Banks comes across as cold and aloof, the only one of Tia's husbands to not yet consummate their marriage. Banks is a brilliant scientist that is working on the cure for the genetic defect that causes high mortality rates of women and their babies. He is driven and controlled but as his history comes out we find out exactly what demons drive him. This so far has been my favorite but the cliff hanger leaves me very impatient for the next story. While this is a reverse harem series it is also about love, faith and family.

This is a brilliant series about a post apocalyptic world where men outnumber women and each woman is allocated 6 husbands In the previous three books we have met Tia and her husbands and have the in depth stories of her and Fallon, Giles and Salinger this is the story of Banks and Tia, It picks up right where book 3 ended on that huge cliffhanger. We finally find out why Banks is so cool and aloof even though he is trying to find the cure to stop the women dying and as we learn more about him he is just another of Tia's husbands for us to love and Yes there's another huge cliffhanger on this book. Please if you are going to read this series you have to read them in order you can't just pick up one

I was given an ARC of this book but this is a true and honest review

This is a great follow up to the last book, and although I am not a big fan of cliffhangers these books leave you wanting more. Book 4 focuses on Tia and Banks relationship and although he can seem aloof and seperate from the family they become much closer and finally consummate their marriage. Although Tia finds out Banks is not like her other husbands his needs and desires are much darker. Tia and her husband's will all have to stand together to combat both Tias past and the harsh reality of life, Tia must get pregnant no matter the cost. I find myself really enjoying these books although I hate having to wait for the next to come out Chantel Seabrook has done a great with these stories they definitely leave you wanting more. This is book 4 of the Six Men of Alaska series and these stories are getting better and better as they come out. This is Tia’s and Bank’s story, in this one we find out why Bank’s is the way he is. Banks is showing himself as a cold stand- offish kind of man because of his past with his father, but he eventually learns to trust Tia and the other men. Tia is different as well instead of waiting to have things done for her by her men she now goes to deal with it herself. It’s a fantastic read and it ends in a cliffhanger ( sigh )!, I just have to be patient and wait for book 5 it’s not easy though. I loved this story and I know that you will too and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

I love this series. The author has had me hooked from page one book one. It an original storyline that keeps you turning the pages with well thought out believable characters. It is one of those books that I could say so much about but I would hate to spoil for other readers. I will say these books are a reverse harem and aren't a stand-alone you need to have read all the books to fully understand and enjoy the story. They also have the habit of ending on a cliffhanger, so if that's not your thing then these books aren't for you and you'd be better waiting and hoping the author brings then out as a box set. Another good read. Very happy with this series so far. The plot moves along well without anything dragging it down. It was nice finally getting a glimpse into Banks, but did his backstory have to be so tragic! Just horrifying.

My one complaint with this one is that throughout the series, it keeps being mentioned how Banks is into like really dirty stuff yada yada yada, but there's not really any of that in this book. There's one encounter where he makes Tia call him Sir, but that's as "dark" as it goes. Why all the buildup? Just didn't make much sense. I was also disappointed that we didn't find out why Banks put his name in the lottery. He mentions at one point that he wouldn't have done so if he had known Tia was a virgin, but that's it. At one point, I thought he would admit he wanted a wife to try out his "cure" on, but it was never actually resolved.

This one was one of my top favs. It was less insta-love then the others, so that is why I didn't put it in that category. It does have a HEA though!

Banks was a really interesting character, he is quiet in most of the books UNTIL his book, he starts to open up once he actually let's Tia in.

Banks has two Phd's so he is different from Fallon - a pilot, Giles - military man, and Emerson - Navy Seal. One thing I liked about Banks is he kinda gets Tia to embrace the side she CLAIMS to love so much, science! We barely see her embrace it though which was very disappointing. The authors tell us she is so brilliant and got a Phd by 20 but we never see any actual intellect come out. If we did see that I probably would've loved the series so much more.

Lawson has found Tia and is threatening to take her from her husbands.
Tia had run from the evil Lawson but now he has found her and threatens to take her away from her husbands. Banks one of her husbands is working on the problem of childbirth knows the only way to keep her is to get her pregnant but that could result in her death. Lawson offers a deal that instead of Tia he will accept the top secret list of fertile women collected in Alaska. Fearing what evil he would do with the list Tia goes on fertility treatment and hope that she can thwart Lawson. A sexy hot romance to relax and enjoy.

The last man holding out has fallen, Banks! I love this story. The last couple books I can't stop reading until the end! I have to say Banks is my favorite husband. Finding out his story and what makes him tick, great story ladies.

Being able to tell Lawson to take a hike was awesome. Yeah now they have Tia's Dad to fend off, but that will be a breeze compared to what is revealed in the living room. The thought crossed my mind a couple chapters before: wouldn't it be awesome if..... and what do you know?!

I'm so excited for the last two books. I'm very curious about Huxley and what his real story is.

Finally Banks has his chance!

This series gets better and better as each book is release and The Wife Code is no exception. Lawson shows up when Tia least expects him and his presence just throws the family in a loop. We also get a better outlook on Banks as he shares with his family his past and what a past it was. Banks will do anything to keep Tis safe and with them, so they make a deal with Lawson but he does have a way to void the deal and you will want to one click to find out how. I love how each men are different but still share their protective nature with anything pertaining to Tia. I can’t wait for the next book, another 4.5 Stars.

What a cliffhanger!!

I was really excited for this chapter in Tia's story. Banks is the most intriguing of her husbands in my opinion and it did not disappoint. It was intense and exciting as they race to find a way around her past and save the future. It was so satisfying to read as Bank's walls were finally chipped away by Tia's love and the family's support. The smaller storyline of their relationship played beautifully into the overarching storyline. Disaster continues to find them, but they decide to rise above and makes the story hopeful and sweet. That ending though!! Hurry up with the next one! I can hardly wait to see how it plays out!!

The fourth book in the series introduces her husband Banks. Banks is a doctor and scientist, working on how to save mothers and children in this dangerous environment. Banks had a very difficult upbringing and has made his heart hard towards love. He is the only one who had not consummated the marriage, but he makes up for lost time once he does. Lawson is back making demands, but Banks sees that he wants more than Tia, he want's the list of women put together by Miriam Ward. Banks continues to monitor Tia daily and thinks he is on the verge of a breakthrough. There are many surprises at the end of the book. I received an ARC of this book and I am giving an honest review.
