What comes to mind is Goonies meets Ghostbusters meets Frank Frazetta in a comic book. The author is truly a child of the 80s, with pop culture references peppered throughout the book. The story is a fun adventure with many twists and turns, lots of surprises, and will keep you waiting to see what's next. The characters are eclectic and engaging, with the city of Philadelphia seemingly portrayed as a character itself. The author melds the fantastical and the horrific into a rich tapestry of visuals, emotions, and action. The Knightmares is something different.
