A direct and independent woman, Riley Tanner. She had a habit of analyzing everything she thought, said and what Chance Truman thought and said. She had a dark ghost haunting her, chasing her from place to place. Riley never stayed in one place to long. She was used to moving around a lot. Then one night her nightmare came true, the past caught up to her and Chance was there. The police were called, a complaint was filed and Chance demanded Riley live with him till the danger was over. At fourteen Riley witnessed a brutal, gruesome murder of her parents. She has been on the run since she was eighteen leaving the foster care system. It seemed no matter how often she moved the murderer would find her. Now, Chance was beside her and she had a choice to make. Stay or leave. She was now twenty-seven and it was do or die now. On the other side of town, Chance was dealing with his own tenuous problem with the second in command of his MC. Matthew was trying to find ways to get Chance involved into club business. Right now, the only job Chance had was to supply their bars and restaurants. Chance did not want to get involved with the illegal aspects of their business. But, Matthew was persistent. He offered Chance protection for him and Riley. Chance knew better than to accept. If he did he would be indebted to Matthew. On the other hand, Riley would be protected. Chance turned him down. Chance and Riley constantly argued about her safety and her future. She put up a roadblock at every turn Chance made. They both were feeling things they did not want to deal with. But, Chance was putting himself out there and told Riley he wanted more than a casual hook-up relationship. He wanted her to be part of his life and he apart of hers. Riley backed off from Chance. She did not want to deal with her own feelings for Chance. Then danger comes knocking on Riley and Chance's door. Riley was being hunted by a murderer and Chance was being chased by Matthew. This is an exciting story of tough hardened people who find love in the mist of danger. A very good read. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

ACTION-packed, GRITTY and GRIPPING! A MUST-BUY 5+STAR, MC romance!
Using her own words, Kathryn Thomas has written an MC ROMANCE that is “. . . delicious, amazing, and mind-blowing.” (STEEL, location 3290) Chance and Riley came from totally different backgrounds yet each had difficult childhoods that warped their ability to openly trust others. Yet something changed when they started to get to know each other. That promise, that hope they were beginning to see in each other was nearly demolished in a few ways by forces outside of the arms they longed to wrap around each other, and yet they fought, fought for the opportunity, the promise, the hope of a better future. “STEEL” by Kathryn Thomas is a TRIFECTA winner; the writing is elegant and smooth, the characters are rich and well-developed, and the character-centered plot is complex and compelling! I only put my Kindle down to meet the screaming RL need for sustenance and then went right back to reading, this MC marvel. (My bills will pay themselves, right?) I suspect every girl wants what Chance and Riley have. The question, of course, is can they keep it? I voluntarily read an ARC copy of “STEEL” and this is my honest review. “STEEL” by Kathryn Thomas is a 5+STAR romance that anyone who likes Super STEAMY romances with a little MC on the side will call a MUST-BUY! Steel is a bit different as the male character Chance although a bad boy biker is quite sweet and ready for romance. On the other hand, Riley the female character wants only a one night stand and definitely does not want a relationship of any kind. What is Riley running from? How will Steel deal with this problem? This book has so much depth, emotion, intrigue, humor, violence, danger and sizzling hot sex scenes. If your looking for an exciting action-packed story that will hold your attention till the end, then “Steel” is the one.

What to say about Riley and Chance, she was quite happy in her job as a waitress serving and helping new ones to the job, but every so often she moved on to a different town. Chance Truman was taken by her but didn't realise she had so much baggage. He tried to take her on a date but she only did one night stands, she did give in and found she was getting closer to him. When she realised her brother had found her again she was ready to flee but Chance wouldn't let her. When his MC told him off for getting police involved in an incident they were going to throw him out. Altogether a really good book

An amazing action packed suspensful edge of my seat captivating romance with enough twists and turns to keep your interest. The characters have great passion and great sizzling chemistry.  Riley running from her past,  never staying in place long is fearing for her life. Chance was offered help from MC leader but not sure if he wants to become a full member. So that brings another set of danger their way. I really great engaging story. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.

RIley has had a tough life and I wanted her to get a man that appreciated her. I loved that Chance really seemed to gt her and want to do right.

I enjoyed the book and the romance between them is very hot. It is a good choice for any fan of MC romances. There is plenty of action along with the romance to keep it interesting.

Oh Chance, you only wanted one date with waitress Riley but she has secrets. She never stays in one place for long and you will find out soon why. Their date is something special, such passion and something like hope in the background. Lots of secrets, drama, intrigue and so much more. Another Kathryn Thomas winner.

Riley is a waitress with a past full of secrets. Chance is a member of a mc who also has a bad past. These two have such a good chemistry but can they make a future. Great book with lots twists and heartache. Could not put this down.
