When I danced In My Mind

Rate this book
Originally from Yemen, Samar Al-Montser was raised in a few different continents shaping the person she is today. She began writing poems based on her existential struggles, dark times, God, love and women issues. Her recent poems on the war in Yemen have been translated into Arabic. She never shared her poems with anyone until she met Professor Dr Yedullah Kazmi. In a section of this book dedicated to him ‘When we danced in our minds’, Samar compiles her three-year relationship with Yedullah, according to the sequence of events in what she wrote for him, and what he wrote for her. Samar Al-Montser currently lives in Malaysia, as she continues to dance in her mind through these chapters.
