Circle Back Around: A Christian Woman Faces the Challenge of her Life

Rate this book
Hailey Anderson’s job at the family textile mill is simply frustrating. During a time when mills are closing all around them, her father won’t listen to her ideas for saving the business. Finally, she leaves North Carolina and moves to Colorado, to be near her sister. But when a health crisis strikes her father only months later, he asks Hailey to return and take over as acting president of the mill. Maybe she’ll be able to save the mill and finally gain her father’s approval. Hailey returns home but things aren’t what they seem at Anderson Mill. She and the assistant manager clash and buried family secrets simmer just below the surface—secrets no one will talk about, especially her father. Her only spark of joy is her budding romance with her neighbor, Alex Moreno, but is it for real? When events grow darker, she no longer fears only for their livelihood, but also for her life. Can Hailey overcome challenges that seem too strong and many to handle?

Hailey comes to that point in life when a decision that affects her future has to be made. Stay home and work the family business or leap out on your own and explore new vistas. Since she feels unappreciated, she sets off. Just when she gets to that new place the situation back home changes and she begrudgingly returns home to run the family business.
Faced with growing problems, it almost seems like everyday she must make a decision with serious ramifications. Will the business survive? Will her family relationship mend? Will that handsome guy she admired so much finally take a serious interest in her?
The author made me feel that I was right there with Hailey at each stage of the book. It reminded me so much of the life decisions that I had made and the ramifications of each one. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and would highly recommend it. An excellent story about love, family and finding your place in this journey of life.

Circle Back Around tells the story of a young woman finding her place in the world against a backdrop of changing economic times in the textile industry. There's romance, suspense, great character development and a good variety of vivid scenes and locations. The reader is drawn in by the plot and character development and the book quickly becomes a "page turner". Highly recommended for anyone looking for a first class alternative to stories filled with sex and violence.

This is an engaging, clean, well-written story. The descriptions make me feel like I am there. This book has suspense, intrigue, family dynamics, romance with the heroine and her family struggling to save their dying family textile company. I enjoyed seeing the healing of the family that takes place and getting to know the characters. The history of the textile mills was interesting and it has a good ending.

This was ok. There was a lot of unnecessary chatter in it though.
