As a mom, I don’t want to admit to myself or others that I don’t have it all “figured out” when it comes to marriage, parenting and being a homemaker. I want to read this book so I can lean on fellow moms and learn from this wonderful community how I can be a better wife, mom and homemaker for my family!

The team that writes these books are a group of amazing people who love God and want to help others. I have read bits of this upcoming book and can't wait to read more. As a military spouse and mom of five any help to encourage and uplift me on my daily walk is a great find!

"The Help Club for Moms" is a book written by a group of mom friends looking to share their wisdom. They take turns writing chapters dealing with parenting, christian living, marriage, and friendships. I hate to admit it, but I really struggled to get through this book. I enjoy reading christian parenting books but this book felt hard to relate to. The moms in this book seemed too perfect and a little judgemental of those who aren't. For example, one mom tells a story of how she decides not to be friends with a mom who complained about her husband and yells at her kids. I agree, we should strive not to do that, but we are all human and it seemed mean the way it was relayed. I couldn't connect to this book, but I would encourage others to give it a chance if they enjoy this genre.
Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.

I am partway through the Help Club for Moms book, and I can say it has already changed the way I look at motherhood and my Christian walk! Unlike other Christian help books that constantly say, "you need to do this or that," Help Club for Moms refreshingly points you to Scripture, reminding you who Jesus calls you to be! At the end of each chapter is a practical challenge, and these are fun and easy to accomplish. In a world that screams "Do more!" or, on the other end, "relax, and be ok with chaos," this book tenderly takes mother's by the hand and whispers Jesus' sweet words, "Take my yoke upon you, for My yoke is easy and my burden is light." I have found very few books on motherhood that gently exhorts like this one!

This book was amazing for me to read. I loved the relatable way Deb writes. It's honest, down to earth and has morsels of truth to enjoy and apply to our every day life.

I love how she inserts ways to better organize, keep the family together and of one heart and mind. Motherhood rocks our world in good ways and bad ways sometimes and I think Deb did a wonderful job of helping us find the positive out of the negative.

I will definitely be suggesting this book to my friends.

I really like the format of this book. Each chapter is an article written by a different woman, and each is only a few pages. They start with a bible verse and an inspirational quote and end with a faith-filled idea to take away with you. I’m looking forward to reading this as part of my daily reading!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Help Club for Moms book is full of personal stories/lessons from various writers in the group Help Club for Moms. These stories provide encouragement and hope that you are not in this alone- being a mom can be rewarding yet confusing, overwhelming or frustrating as we all know. The book provides inspiration and practical help for yourself, family, and home to help grow you spiritually and grow healthier relationships.
The book is divided into 6 parts- including The Wise Woman Cultivates Her Spirit, The Wise Woman Loves Her Husband, and The Wise Woman Loves Her Children. Each part consists of several short chapters written by various members of the Help Club for Moms Team. The chapters include Scripture, quotes, a personal story, and Faith Filled Ideas (ways to grow in your faith and learn Scripture).
In each chapter of Part 6 there is a list of helpful resources included for each of the other main parts. At the end of Parts 1-5 a list of Scriptures is included to ponder and pray. This book even includes a few recipes.
I recommend this book for any mom to help encourage and grow your faith personally, teach your children about Jesus and have a faith-based home. The chapters are easy to read and short enough for even a busier household or time of life. Grab a copy of the book and share it with other moms in your community.
I received an advanced copy of this book for my honest review. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.

Ideal for any form of mother young and old, biological or nonbiological, foster, step or grandmother. Every mother figure requires help, stability and knowledge that we’re not alone in our feelings of anxiety, overwhelmed, discouraged or isolated. I rate this Christian parenting and parenting styled similar to a self help and daily Bible reflection book a five star. This rating as when I feel low, unstable, isolated and alone I look up a section of how I am feeling to be reconnected with God and Jesus. Each section is different outlining how to reconnect with yourself, your partner and children, household duties, friendships and resources to help support your needs and theirs.

If you’re a mom looking for some encouragement, look no further! This book is packed with quick, easy to digest chapters that cater to different times in a mom of littles’ life. With a bunch of different authors you get to hear many stories and perspectives and ways to fill your cup as a mom. I appreciated how easy it was to squeeze in a chapter here and there- this book is certainly written with a busy mom in mind!

As I’ve come to expect with motherhood books, this book does tend to cater most to SAHMs. There is a mention or two of working moms, but I feel like the overwhelming theme is encouragement for stay at home moms. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but some of us just can’t stay home (as much as we totally would if we could 💙) and it seems like books like these don’t ever keep those moms in mind. Idk, maybe I should write a book for working moms? 🤷🏼‍♀️🤪

Kinda like the book, this review was short and sweet. This is a good read for some quick, encouraging nuggets.

I’m only a few chapters into this book but it is totally worthy of a 5 star review! I love that this book is written by women who are moms just like me. I can relate to the feelings they feel, the struggles they face, and the stories they tell. So often I am overwhelmed with this journey of motherhood, doubting whether or not I am cut out for it. I’ve often cracked under the pressure of the magnificent calling that motherhood is. However, I am reminded through the pages of this book that I am not alone. They say it takes a village to raise a child. Reading this book makes me feel as though I have my village. I’m so blessed to be a part of The Help Club for Moms.

So far, my favorite ‘article’ is written by Tara, when she suggests a ‘time in’ for our littles when they’re struggling, as opposed to a ‘time out’! Like us, our children, (young AND old), can become overwhelmed with the cares of this world & their own emotional, spiritual, & mental reactions to those cares. Sometimes they just need to be held, talked to, noticed, loved on, by us! Tara reminds us that God draws us close, as His children, & that He’s giving us the grace, wisdom, love, & patience to do the same for them!

The Help Club for Moms is full of great practical ideas on growing mom's faith as well as shepherding her family. I appreciated the breakdown of the chapters and subjects. It was meant to be a quick read to pick up when moms have just a bit of time between all of their other tasks. It was organized in a logical order. The tips are practical and fairly easy to put into place without a lot of extra time and effort.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book for my honest review.

This book is filled with so many encouraging amd wise words for moms. I’ ve read it slowly taking enough time to soak in and reflect on the faith-fill ideas.
You will find 5 big parts: from marriage and children to home and relationship.
Each chapter has at the end of it a faith-fill idea you can go deeper (questions, activities).
I loved the biblical approach on all 5 big parts.

MOMS! And anyone who HAS a mom! This is a life-changing read. My home, marriage, children and personal life have been changed by the Help Club for Moms books and community. I was given an advance copy of this book, and it's the best yet. I love this book because it adds value in every arena of life - from the most mundane and practical moments when you feel buried under a pile of laundry AND a tower of dirty dishes at the same time - to giving you wisdom from heaven to empower you, encourage you and make you stronger in your relationships with God and your family. This book helped me get my priorities in order and feel renewed joy about my calling to be a mama. This is an essential real and a life-giving breath of fresh air for any mom out there, no matter your stage of life. Enjoy!
