Sometimes, our demons bring the good in us...

Reeva Panchal, a entrepreneur has her own demons and nightmares to fight with, her family is unaware of what happened to their bubbly daughter. Agnivesh Solanki, owner of Agni Group of Hotels has a mystery of its own.
When Agnivesh wanted to marry Reeva, her parents are happy but not Reeva. She is suspicious about Agnivesh, but his dark aura is about to capture her heart. He helps her to come out of her secrets, and Reeva has someone to trust after a long time.
While the main story deals with the present of both Reeva and Agnivesh, there are diary entries of someone's past, which has connections to its present.
What was Reeva hiding? Why was Agnivesh so desperate to marry Reeva? Who's diary entry were they?

It was a whole new concept, where romance has a dark side too. Where ruining each other can fix things. Where you can hurt someone you love.

The language was beautiful, elegant, astonishing. Every last line of the chapters will keep you hooked, and suspence was well kept. One sided love can be dangerous, but you can't blame the person for the mistake they never did.
Overall, i must say it's a must read.

Reeva Panchal, a budding entrepreneur has her own demons and nightmares with which she is fighting constantly and alone as her family is unaware of what happened to their bubbly and effervescent daughter. Agnivesh Solanki, owner of Agni Group of Hotels is on a constant battle and a mission.
When Agnivesh wanted to marry Reeva, her parents are elated but not Reeva. She has her own discomfort and intuitions about Agnivesh and if he is hiding something about him. One minute he is so caring and approachable, next minute he is aloof with an hate and anger seething inside him. Is it an unholy alliance or as Agnivesh said that sometimes we need to break each other to heal.
While the main story deals with the present trials of both Reeva and Agnivesh, there are diary entries which hints at something that took place in past but affecting the present but of whom and how.

It is an engaging tale which has love, friendship, betrayal, family and work relationships. A fast paced book with page Turner storyline, and giving some important messages as well. One sided love is always dangerous and so is the problem of acceptance in society.

This is a one go read with gradual character and story development full of twists and turns. Till the end it was difficult to decide who is right and who is wrong or is everyone carrying a gray shade in their characters, read to find out.

When was the last time you felt your heart throbbing fast with emotions?

When was the last time you said something cliché and you meant it?

When was the last time you felt alive?

Well, if you find it hard to recollect such beautiful moments from your lifetime, you belong to the typical ‘21st century human species’, a species whose members are doing everything but living. A species who has forgotten to feel a warm touch, relish a merry smile, and most important of all, it has forgotten to ‘love’ in the most innocent and pure terms.

Well, worry not. Anjum Awasthi Malik seems to come at your rescue with the book ‘The Day He was Gone’.

This book is capable of bringing all your deep residing emotions to the surface. A shaking work, where you can feel the tingle from the very first page to last page. Every possible human emotion has found its way in this book, be it jealousy, repentance, anger, vengeance, disgust, trust and yes love. The book embarks on a journey to ‘life lessons’, something which is much needed.

A light read. Can be completed at one go. I would suggest to read it at one go if you want to feel each and every emotion.

Language is simple. Can be read without using a dictionary.

Although it feels dramatic in content at one point, but then life is dramatic. Ain’t it?

I would recommend it as this book truly possesses the power to spark a strong sense of emotions, which I think is much needed in this emotionless world of today.

“Not every relationship is meant to heal with love. In some relationships, ruining each other is the only way to fix one another.”

‘The day he was gone’ is a romantic thriller witnessing the life of a young entrepreneur Reeva. As the story unfolds, one may find the journal entries dated four years back of a guy named Kartik going parallel with the story narration which makes you wonder if it really has any connection with the actual story. Initially, the book may seem like any other cliché romantic stories with a rich guy and an average girl. But as the mystery reveals, the story takes an unexpected twist and then everything seems to appear crystal clear in front of you busying your mind in connecting the past dots.

I personally started reading the book with the thought that this might turn out to be a typical clichéd one. But it turned out to be not. The author managed to keep me engrossed in the story as the story moved deeper. It can certainly be termed as a fast-paced book with a page-turner storyline. The story highlights some very important messages: First, onesided love takes no time to turn into an obsession destroying the lives of many. Second, self-acceptance.

Though the title of the book screams a breakup story this isn't a breakup story. There are two stories running simultaneously in the book. I absolutely had no idea about the two untill the very end. The story moves at a fast pace. I love the plot. Its unpredictable and something different i have a read in a long time. I love the suspense element in the book. And at one point the book throws such a thrilling twist. All this makes the book extremely gripping. There is so much more to this book as i said there are two stories running simultaneously But i don't want to give spoilers.
A story of friendship, family, love, betrayal, revenge, emotions, work. A must read. 👍

The book is a revetting encounter of love, fate, and hope against revenge, mystery and haunting pasts. Reeva and Agnivesh have both a distressful past and their quest to find meaning of their life, within a confusion of whether to proceed together or not forms the crux of the story.
The author glues the readers with the neat and pacy writing and the story advances as a thriller. The mysteries that unfold in the end is very good and the main hero is the plot. I recommend the book to everyone who wishes for a good read.

"one-sided love is also a kind of disease that kills your ability to comprehend, because the reality is that one-sided love evokes the need to have your love acknowledge, without realizing that you can never force the other person to feel the same way for you."

The book cover is captivating, clears reveals all the thrill that the book has inside. But that is not the only good thing, the book has all the masala- Love,
revenge, hate, drama, an unexpected marriage proposal, and a lot lot of mystery.

i loved the character of Reeva- A strong protagonist who had a tough past and yet she focuses on building her life again using her skills in art.

The relationship of Reeva and Agnivesh is thrilling and impelling with a lot of Love-Hate drama.

The use of diary as a prop to connect the characters is fascinating.

And the unexpected twist in the end is appealing.

I will definitely suggest you to give it a read.

📕"Not every relationship is meant to heal with love. In some relationships, ruining each other is the only way to fix one another".

📕No wonder, Anjum Awasthi Malik has expressed this very well in her book "The day he was gone".
The story is basically of a female protagonist Reeva Panchal. A very ambitious, fierce and determined girl who has suffered a gargantuan tragedy four years back which drastically affected her entire life.

📕The very incident has haunted her to such a great extent that there was no way left to escape from the trauma.Nonetheless she was trying to cope up with her life, but a skeptical marriage proposal from a business magnate has once again
opened the past chapters in front of her.

📕The hurricane inside her has taken a new shape now. Once again the redemption of past has started tormenting her. Her past was deeply engulfing her in it.
How would she get out of all these ? Would she ever get rid of her worse memories ? Would life play fair to her ?

📕The author has written a very interesting plot. Every new chapter unfolds a new hidden truth. My eyes were totally glued to the book, searching for some answers.
The ending was also wonderfully described.
The character of Reeva was indeed inspiring and admiring, it would made u realise how strong willpower could beat the most adverse fear.
Thank you.

Reading through the blurb and at a  first glance the book seemed to be telling an ordinary story. But once I started reading it, I realized I was wrong. No, the author proved me wrong. The book starts with the protagonist Reeva receiving a marriage proposal from a millionaire Business man Agnivesh. No one including her parents are clueless about this guy and his whereabouts when suddenly he proposes to marry their only daughter.

Sumitra, Reeva’s mom gets elated since she gets the surety that her daughter would be well settled if she marries Agnivesh. But on the other hand Prakash, Reeva’s father is a person who understands his daughter and does not pressurize her to get into wedlock. Especially with a stranger who pops out of nowhere.

Reeva owns a handicraft workshop where she supplies gift articles for smaller celebrations. She initially resists Agnivesh, but after getting to know him over a couple of instances she falls for him finally.

The book alternates between the story between Reeva and Agnivesh and chapters from a diary “All about Sona”, where we see a letter being addresses to the diary by a guy about his to be girlfriend whom he names Sona. The part where both stories intertwine is just amazing.

The characterization is just done perfect. Especially that of Agnivesh. There is not a single spec of doubt that arises though he is portrayed to be a reserved stubborn guy initially. Getting to know he has a past and that has Reeva in connection is woven pretty well.

Reeva’s part, I won’t say is subtle, but the emotional struggles she undergoes from within and how she tries to hide them from the outside world makes her a strong protagonist. She does not fall for Agnivesh immediately when the proposal is received. She is curious to know who he is and how did he know of her and propose a marriage. She takes time to understand him and believes him completely when she is shattered by an instance which makes her solely dependent on him to prove her innocence when her own parents accuse her.

Prakash is a protective father, who does not thrust decisions on her but also wants her to settle in a good manner.

The writing is crisp and clear. Nothing was difficult to understand or required a dictionary peek to understand terms.

The cover is designed well with the picture of a girl looking dejected portraying that she is thinking of her past and in engrossed in it completely.

Reeva is trying to recover from a past that keeps coming back as nightmares, when Agnivesh enters her life as a prospective groom. Agnivesh is that groom with all the perfect qualities to impress her parents and Reeva finds herself slowly attracted to him unintentionally, after some initial resistance. Her personal as well as professional life seem to be back on track after Agnivesh enters her life. Just when everything falls in place, Reeva's world again turns upside down in a few moments. But not everything is as it seems on the surface. There are misunderstandings, mistakes, regrets and truth to be uncovered. Rest of the story is about unveiling Reeva's past and how she finally heals herself and Agnivesh in the process.

Along with Reeva and Agnivesh story, there are diary entries written by a certain Karthik for his love, whom he fondly calls "Sona". How Sona and Karthik's life entangles with Reeva and Agnivesh's is the crux of the story.

The story starts with quite some mystery around Reeva and her past, and how Agnivesh slowly gets a hold on her emotions and trust. The parallel story of Sona is equally interesting as it unfolds through Karthik's diary. All the four main characters have a certain mystery and aura which keeps the reader engaged as the story progresses.

The first half of the book is taut and interesting, but as it progresses and the suspense unfolds, the story looses its grip. The pre-climax and climax get dramatic and predictable. The characters that start different and fresh get cliched towards the end, in an otherwise interesting and racy story. A majority of the backstory can be predicted based on the hints thrown in by the author.
Also, in current times, when everyone is well connected online and online presence can reveal everything about individuals, especially about successful and famous personalities, some aspects about the protagonists sound a bit illogical.

With all the cliches and drama, the book still makes for a great read and is very engaging till the end. I personally found it good script for screen adaption. Pick this one for characters that are engaging even with their flaws.

"Not every relationship is meant to heal with love. In some relationships, ruining each other is the only way to fix one another." - Anjum Awasthi Malik

Blurb:

Reeva Panchal has had a traumatising past, but she is trying to build up her life again from scratch without even graduating, with her skill in art and wants to be a successful entrepreneur someday. When she receives a surprise marriage proposal from the wealthy hotelier Agnivesh Solanki, she can't help but feel odd about it even though her parents are insistent that she agrees to it. With Agnivesh's entry into her life, all her problems seem to alleviate at an unrealistic pace, even though Agnivesh continues to exude a dark aura for her. What unfolds is a series of unprecedented events where relations are broken, mistakes are made and the past is dug up to destroy as well as heal.

Views:

The Day He Was Gone is the second book by the author. Having read her last book as well, I could easily find the massive improvement in her writing and plot development.

This book belongs to the genre of romantic thriller. The plot initiates slowly, giving enough time to understand the scenario and keeping the thrill intact at the same time. The protagonist, Reeva's character from the beginning is quite inspiring and at the same time mysterious. Agnivesh's character is much more mysterious than Reeva's though. His intention of suddenly sending marriage proposal to a complete stranger belonging to a lower middle class family, keeps the novel going. Both the protagonists have a past which unfolds slowly as the book proceeds.

The author has a tremendous grip in vocabulary and the use of them really makes the book much more interesting. The characters are also developed with precision which makes them sharp, mysterious and lovable at the same time. Though it's not an exceptional thriller or romance book, but the writing style is what that kept me hooked to the story. Overall it was a nice read and one can definitely read it once.

Thankyou @anjumawasthi for providing the review copy.

Rating and Recommendations:

3.5/5. It's a light read and anyone looking for one, can definitely pick this one up. It can also act as a good bridge between two heavy reads.

Book name: The Day He Was Gone
Author: Anjum Awasthi Malik
My rating: 4.5/5

Review:
The book is combo of love, mystery, hatred, revenge.
The story is narrated in two timelines present and past. Past events are narrated in the form of a diary. Somehow the narration in the diary relates to the story of the main characters which unfolds in the latter part of the story.

Reeva Panchal, the protagonist, has had a traumatizing past, but she is trying to build up her life again from scratch with her skill in the art.
Everything thing changes, even her life when Agnivesh Solanki comes up with
a surprise marriage proposal. What unfolds later is a series of unprecedented events where relations are broken, mistakes are made and the past is dug up to destroy as well as heal.

What I liked and didn't like about the book:

Narration of story, and how the diary is related to the main character is portrayed in an engaging way. The title perfectly goes with the story. The climax of the story is amazing. The mystery created is not perfect, but proper care is taken to write it, from prologue itself. The author beautifully takes the reader through the ups and down of the story.

Overall the book is an engaging read.

Plot: 4.5/5
Story: 4/5
Characters: 4.5/5
Writing style: 4/5
Entertainment: 4/5
Final verdict: 4.5/5

My favorite line:
(1).
One-sided love is also a kind of disease that kills your ability to comprehend, because the reality is that one-sided love evokes the need to have your love acknowledge, without realizing that you can never force the other person to feel the same way for you.

Book- The Day He was Gone
Writer- Anjum Awasthi Malik @anjumawasthi

Review:
A combination of real life struggles, depressions, achievements, mysteries, miseries, self respect, love, hate, and many other human emotions through which the writer very well weaved the story. The moment you start falling in love with the character, there's a certain twist in the plot which makes you doubt about your choice but there comes another twist which again makes you fall in love.

The cover made me seriously think as to how can ruining each other's life be a way to heal each other but by the end of the story, I got my answers. Diary entries in the end of each chapter compels you to have some pre-assumptions but as the story proceeds the writer breaks a few of them and shows you a complete new story. There are stories you read where just halfway, you know the whole plot but then there is this story where untill you turn the last page, you are not sure how would it end. And when it actually ends, it leaves you with a pleasant smile.
P.S. :
The quality of the pages resembles to my course book and not with that of a novel which you know is very boring. Thick pages makes it a heavy book too, which certainly hurt the arms. It also lacks the essential smell of novels. Had the story not been interesting, I would have never read it past 20 pages. I hope @invinciblepublishers reads this review and rectify them in their next edition.

Keeping the negatives asides, it's a beautiful story of 4 lives - Reeva, Agnivesh, Karthik and Kriti; but is it actually about 4 lives?? To find that out, I strongly recommend you to read it and enjoy as much as I did.

It is the second book of the writer and as I have read the first one too, the growth in the writing style is visible.

Pros: The story is about, two broken hearts trying to run from their respective pasts, at the same time trying to cure their pain.
Book could be also read by beginners, because of simple writing style also there are many characters and elements which are useful in and related to real life. This book also helped me as a person in my own personal life to understand various aspects related to life.

Cons: No cons in the book, hoping there could be unpredictable events.

🌈'Not every RELATIONSHIP is meant to HEAL with LOVE. In some relationships, RUINING each other is the only way to FIX one another.'
.
.
🌈It is always good to look forward because if you keep looking back, even a pebble in your path will get the power to topple you down.
.
.
🌈The writer has beautifully portrayed the story of Reeva; an ordinary school dropout girl who owns a business of 'Kreative Krafts.' The only question that haunts her is 'WHY ME?' when a wealthy guy named Agnivesh; who owns a chain of luxury hotels brings a proposal of marrying her.
.
🌈With each passing step, she finds herself getting involved in this proposal as well as her past, which brings chill down her spine.
.
🌈Is this proposal for real or a trap for Reeva?
.
🌈After every chapter, the writer has included a diary entry of 19th yo college student Kartik who pens down this diary for his so called love, Sona.
.
🌈These 2 stories are moving simultaneously in which both the characters are broken and at the same time trying to restore themselves. It is beautiful to see how these two stories get entangled at the end.
.
.
🌈What I liked -
✴️The plot has been perfectly crafted.
✴️It seems as if the characters are in real.
✴️What especially unfolds is a way where relationships are broken,a dark past is there and lots of mistakes are made.
✴️It is an amalgamation of suspense, thriller, emotions and love.

A love story with a twisted fate is my thing. Through your reading, this book will keep you hooked. I found some sections little dull but it will sum up by the end why such narration or expression was done for the particular feeling. The story progresses in two ways, one is between the Protagonist Reeva and Agnivesh and other between Sona (aka Kriti) and Kartik. As the climax of both these story clashes is when the actual thrill begins. As said, the story isn’t slow but fast and edgy with beautiful narration and clarity of vision which will actually keep you on your toes and eyes glued without flinching. The craze is so contagious I finished the book in one go.

Though, few disappointments were there like proofreading and grammatical errors. The character building is very strong and equally intriguing that by the end when you know all the intricacies you’re left lingered in the thoughts of the story and also a bit drained but in a good way.
Romance and thriller combined is a bomb and this novel personifies that. At a few places you will see that it has a hint of 50 shades of grey but by the end, all the illusions will fall down and all assumption in the vain, but when one reaches the climax I believe not all that happened what unexpected but how the author kept me hooked it till is commendable.

The true blue potential of this story to rock the silver screen, if the author considers not because of the plot but the visual presentation done through words by the author which makes me eager to see these characters coming to life.

Summary:

“Never deny yourself the pleasure of falling in love

It is beautiful. And never be afraid to fail in love.

Failing in love is equally beautiful.”

This book comprises of two stories one was about Reeva and Agnivesh, the other one was about Kirti and Karthik. Reeva was an entrepreneur from a middle-class family. Agnivesh was a millionaire and he was parentless. Reeva was little anxious when he himself approached marriage proposal to Reeva’s parents. She was surprised why a millionaire wanted to tie not with a middle-class girl. So, at the beginning she refused the proposal but her parents urged Reeva to accept it. When everything comes into hand Agnivesh started hurting Reeva and he made her to fell in a snare. Simultaneously, Kirti and Karthi love tale would persist. The real story begins when those two tales amass.

Grab this amazing book. To know answers for all your questions.

Review:

This is an amazing romantic thriller which will engage you till the end. Don't judge a book by its cover and this the best example for that saying. The obligatory amount of twists and turns add spice to the story. The story will sit on your nerves when both love tales brought together. A fast paced unputdownable read. I must say about the characters. Reeva a strong protagonist and all other characters are well developed. It's an amazing read. I'll recommend this to all the romance lovers. Happy reading.

The Day He Was Gone narrates a love story with a dark background. When Reeva, a middle class girl, is approached by a rich businessman for marriage, she is intrigued. As their interactions increase her doubts decrease, only to be hit by a powerful blow which brings back the dark parts of her life; those which she has been trying to suppress all these years. Will she get the answers to all her doubts? Whether she will finally find peace? For that, you need to grab this book.

I liked the strategy of running two story lines simultaneously and converging them suitably. The title piques curiosity and the reader may not be able to understand it until towards the end. The author holds the suspense till the end with ease, throwing in enough to keep the readers hooked, right from the prologue. The author has taken extra care to use the exact words in English to mean the actions and emotions, throughout the book.

The plot has nothing significant to evoke any deep emotions in the reader to come back to the book. Moreover, there is a possibility that the reader may be left with a bit of negativity as it runs throughout the book. The flow of the narration is also not very good.

I recommend this book to the people who like a love story with mystery sprinkled in loads. It is somewhere between chew and swallow but nothing to digest.

My latest read - The day he was gone by Anjum Awasthi Malik. (@anjumawasthi)
🌸Fiction
🌸 Approx 200 pages.

One might think that after reading hundreds of books, the stories become predictable et I couldn't crack this story until the end. From the title, I judged the book to be a typical boy meets girl then betrays and leaves her kind of a story but it's NOT.
Reeva is an ordinary woman who loves art. Its her only escape from a tramautic past. Agnivesh is a filthy rich man who has proposed marriage to Reeva despite the huge gap in their financial.status. He is a mysterious person, hiding more skeletons in his closet than an entire graveyard.
The story left me with my emotions all over the place. Confused about the four main characters, suspicious about Agnivesh's intentions, Reeva's emotional turmoil and her pain. I couldn't even stop my tears( yep I'm emotional like that. Dont judge) when reeva was left all alone and no one trusted her and I cursed when Agnivesh's plan fell into place.
It was one hell of an emotional roller coaster and it kept me glued till the end. It was a lovely read. I love how the story's narrated except that it seemed all too fast. The story is fast paced which was a disaster.

The book is full of mystery, love, dreams, hope, revenge, and emotions. It will keep your eyes glued. You will have this sudden urge to understand the two revolving stories as soon as possible and know the connection between them.

This book talks about the inner demons ad acceptance towards it. It shows how everyone is full of flaws and makes a mess in their lives and how healthy it is to accept it and move forward. Although some things can never be undone, each one of us deserves a second chance. The book talks on the fact that success means nothing when you don't have the people you love to share it with, how important it is to make yourself as a priority without being a narcissist, how true love gets unnoticed and heals oneself.

Reeva is depressed and broken by that one incident which changed her and her life forever. She hides all her pain inside with a smile on her face. Whereas, Agnivesh hides his pain behind his rude and mysterious behavior. Both of them, broken, spells some different kind of magic on each other.

Grab a copy to know the connection between them and how these two broken people fix each other with their love.

The title screamed it's a breakup story. No it's not.
The book discuss the past and present simultaneously and leaves you clueless. It makes you turn pages by creating a curiosity. Reeva is an artist. Art is her only escape from her haunting past. She burries her past with a smile and acts strong. But you know always something must happen somehow by someone to ruin your life or heal your broken pieces. Agnivesh - a wealthy man interrupts Reeva's life by a marriage proposal. Though her family is not doing that well she never wanted this to happen. Time, situation and fate somehow brings them both together. The broken pieces of Reeva's soul gets scattered even more after his entry. Not every relationship is meant to heal, some ruin each other to heal. The traumatic past of both Reeva and Agnivesh destroys them in the present. How do they overcome? Are they ruining their lives to fix their soul or even worse? You should always face the consequences of your decision. Will love overtakes the consequences ?
The book stirs up your curiosity. Gives you twisting ends. Makes you confused. Teaches you life. Urges you to be stronger than you are before.

This book was  really fantastic. I had an amazing time reading it.
Firstly the concept around which it revolves is unique, yet quiet acceptable, the writing style was good, there was no kind of info dumping in it. The language was crisp and lucid.  The characters were very well developed, i could connect very well with Reeva. I liked how mental illness is described in this book.
Now coming to the part that i absolutely loved,

1) A lot of matter/ information over womens liberation.
2) A lot of social evils being tackled in the book.
3)  I absolutely loved the I-DIDN'T-EXPECT-THAT-TO-COME kinda movement that popped in all of a sudden and acted as a real tabel turner.
4) I liked the Diary writings that were attached at the end of ever chapter.
5) This book was extremely unputdownable !
I just couldn't stop reading it..
6) The suspense was caught up till the last word of the book !

The only part wherein this book required development was in the title, I feel it could be more better. Anyway the cover was chosen appropriately.

Overall this was a very interesting, innovative and a gripping tale! I finished it in a day.
I would definitely recommend this book to everyone!

"Not every relationship is meant to heal with love. In some relationships, ruining each other is the only way to fix one another.'
.
Get ready to be thrilled by the dangerous love story of Agnivesh, Kartik and Reeva. A thriller about three broken souls, a love story born out of hatred. A story about hate. A story about love. .
.
Reeva Panchal has had a very traumatising past, but she is trying to build up her life from scratch with her art by starting up a small business. She receives a surprise marriage proposal from the wealthy hotelier Agnivesh Solanki, she can't help but feel odd about it but for her parents, she agrees to it. With Agnivesh entry in her life, all her problems seem to grow at an unrealistic pace. While Agnivesh is still behaving suspicious, Reeva's past is haunting to destroy and to heal their lives
.
.
A perfect story one would love to read.
If you love thriller, suspense and love stories this book is surely the next pick for you.

From the title you may think that it is a breakup story, well to an extent it is, but it is through this book that I know that breakup stories can actually be inspiring! Can a break up be so bad that you go to the extent of changing yourself in every way? (Even legally?). This book is the answer. The book also portrays the various phases of a girl's life during the process of 'love '. Like Shakespeare once said, no one is born a villain, only the situations make him one. In the same way, there are no antagonists in this book, on a deeper level, this is closely related to human life because some people may seem villanious or cruel to us but that is not who they really are. This book also forces us to rethink the concepts of what is 'good' and 'bad'. Aren't these terms only limited to what the society confines them as? @anjumawasthi has done an amazing job portraying each character in the novel! Definitely recommend to those who are looking for a book that touches your soul!

The best thing about this book is it's plot. it's a perfectly knitted story with perfect timings and imaginable happenings. It's a kind of story that stays in your mind for longer. the book has around 200 pages and each and every page is filled with thrill. i literally couldn't put it down without knowing what will happen next. there are two stories that goes parallerly. the Reeva and Agnivesh's story is more interesting that that of the other story and you will often want to skip reading the second story because you will be too invested in the Reeva and Agnivesh's mysterious relationship. my advice, don't skip any part of the story, otherwise you won't enjoy the climax where the two stories combines with a unimaginable twist. i highly recommend this book to all the book lovers. Do read this fresh and out of the box story.

Theme – Suspense/Love-Hate story
📒
Pages – 200
📒
Recommendation – Okay, one time read
📒
Reviews - The story revolves around a strong female character, Reeva, who gets a marriage proposal from a wealthy business man. Her mother convinces her to accept the proposal as she feels that Reeva could never get such a great(wealthy) man as her husband with the business that Reeva runs against her parents wish.
The story proceeds further more interestingly with surprising turns. Apart from this story you'd be reading a daily diary entry by a character who shares everything he feels and that happens with him and 'Sona'.
The interesting part comes when you connect all the events between Reeva's story and the diary.
The twists in the story is surprising and in the end turns out to be a little unreal for the real world and at the same time, too real for a fictional world.

I have completed this book in just two days, inspite of having interview on the very next day, of the night, I started this book. It's too addictive. And I am an avid reader, too. Somewhere I feel myself connected very much like the main character Reeva or Kriti, that's also the reason, I couldn't leave it before completing it.

Do I recommend this book?
Yes, I recommend this book. All novel addicts out there, add it in your reading list if you haven't read it, yet.
And, also, I would like to thanks the author for not giving up writing it. Trust me it's very hard to stick to writing a book. It takes a lot of effort to write a novel. I could say this because, I, myself have started writing a romantic saga and it will soon be published. I will complete it. And rest I am going leave on the readers, whether it is awesome or cliche.
