I’m a convicted felon, sent away for murder at the tender age of 18. By 22, I was out on parole and became a chart-topping musician.
And I’ve been in love with two people my entire life. I’ve lived through it all – the ups and downs of an abusive childhood, a devastating breakup and the end of a lifelong friendship, and the agony of losing my freedom.
But nothing caused me more pain than losing them both. Cam and London made me whole when everything else in my life left me in pieces. My lonely and reckless heart needs them both. I’ll love them until my dying day. Even if it means living with only half my heart.
*AUTHOR NOTE - this is 3rd book and conclusion to the 3-part serial. This is not a standalone and should be read in order.
Sierra Hill is a 2020 RONE Award-Winning author of Game Changer, as well as over 30 novels, including the award-winning college sports series, Courting Love, and the twice award-finalist erotic ménage serial, Reckless – The Smoky Mountain Trio.
"A love like ours can't be denied" 😍 I. Am. Swooning!!! These 3 have had me on a ride. London, Cam and Sage ARE EVERYTHING!!! Their love is so off the charts and all consuming! Sierra did a great job of detailing their love for each other as couples and as a whole! I am so in love with this story I did NOT want it to end! This whole series is a must have for anyone who has interest in M/M and M/M/F.
I was looking forward to the conclusion or book 3 of this series so much, knowing it would be told from Sage’s point of view and I must say the author did not disappoint me. The conclusion is very touching and will have you grabbing for the tissues a time or two.
If you have read the series to this point, you know our trio have reunited after 10 years and are once again a force to be reckoned with when they are together. We also learn Cam’s job as a fire jumper has left him in a bad way. As Sage and London rush to Cam’s side to help with his care and his son, others are plotting against them. I don’t do spoilers so I won’t say who or about what but these three are so connected they will suffer anything themselves to save the other two from any pain.
The author has written a gripping conclusion that not only shows the depth of our trio’s love for one another but proves that love is one of the strongest bonds even when everything around is going terribly wrong.
This is a wonderful MFM story that will have you hoping for any kind of happy ending. The characters are so special and so loving that you can’t help but feel a part of their world. 2 Thumbs Up for the series and I offer kudos to the author for a perfect conclusion to London, Sage and Cam’s story with Reckless Hearts.
Heavy sigh... Oh I absolutely loved this trio. Sage's installment was last, and the author did not disappoint me. I've liked Sage the best since the beginning, he's the 'tortured artist' type in the story, bad boy with a good heart that shines through even when he's not being the nicest guy to those he loves and those who love him. He knows who he is and what he wants and makes no apologies for it and I love that about him. In my head, they are the princess the athlete and the criminal, and yes The Breakfast Club was my favorite movie growing up so maybe thats why that stuck out in my head. This book was from Sage's point of view but it also covered a fair about of growth on Cam's part since he probably had to overcome the most obstacles for the HEA that he so deserved. These three will melt your heart (and scorch your Kindle) on their path to a new definition of love and what it means to them.
Reckless Hearts is the third final installment of Reckless - The Smoky Mountain Trio by Sierra Hill. This book concludes the love story of Cam, London, and Sage. They have gone through a lot, separated all these years but their ove is still alive and strong, if only they can get past the obstacles. They have recently reunited but things are stll in the air for their future, as Cam has been injured.
We get to hear through Sage's point of view, the details of what happened that fateful night years ago hat set them on this different road they had planned and the years that followed. Now we have all three character's point of views between the three books of the series. Their love and fears laid out raw for us.
These characters are beautifully scarred and their lives is a balm to the markings of the past. They are trying to heal together, physically and emotionally. Their interactions are a mix of sweet love and hot sex. This is the perfect ending to the series that has captured my heart. These characters have been through so much and need to have a happily ever after.
I received an advanced reader's copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
What a wonderfully beautiful conclusion to this emotional, heartbreaking, sweet, sexy, angsty trilogy. I fell in love with these three in book one and have been rooting for their HEA over since. Each book is told from a different character's point of view. Book one, Reckless Youth was London's book. Book two, Reckless Abandon was Cameron's book. Book 3. Reckless Hearts is Sage's book and I have been anxiously awaiting his POV. As much as I loved London and Cam, Sage and his story spoke to my heart and gahhhhh, I just love Sage. This series follows this trio, who have been friends since kindergarten, through the years. Their lives, their loves, their pain, their struggles and their deep, all consuming love for each other. I do not have the words to describe how thoroughly consumed I was by this trilogy. I loved every delicious minute of this trilogy. Thank you Sierra Hill for bringing me London, Cam and Sage.
The culmination of all the pain and heartache that these three have had to go through both together and apart is a wonderful ending to this story of best friends who met during an argument on the playground. With everything each of them has gone through, London has held strong to the fact that she can't and won't live without both Cam and Sage. This book is through Sage's eyes and we learn that he has finally grown into the man he was always meant to be.
"She is his, and mine, and he is ours. We are one."
That is what Sage believes but Cam is proving to be a harder nut to crack despite the fact that he DOES feel like they MAY belong together. They have more trials and tribulations to go through before they can get to their happily ever after...IF they can get there. A great trilogy!
Holy Smokes!!! That ending...….I loved it!!! It was definitely worth the wait to find out what happened after the cliffhanger the author left us on after book 2, as it did not disappoint at all!!
Society may say the relationship our trio was in isn't normal, but what is normal for one person may not be for someone else. And for Cam, Sage, and London, they were all so intertwined in each other's lives, that they would never truly be happy until they were all together. There was so much love, compassion, tenderness, and understanding between them and I adored what they shared.
Such a great trilogy and I hope we get to read about them in the future, as there is just so much more to Cam, Sage, and London's story.
One day... Yep, in one day I devoured this book! Sage has always been my soft spot so I loved hearing the story being told from his side. Cam, London, and Sage are each unique in their own ways. But together they click and form a bond nothing can destroy. Life tried. It was difficult. And just when you think it's getting better something else comes their way. But Sage showed his strength in this book. He was there for Cam and London which I think he needed to be. He lived a fast life there for awhile. He let things interfere with what he really wanted in life. But not this time.
This story is sexy and hot as fuck but beneath all that is a love that may be unconventional, but it's true. It's real.
I hate to see the end of their story. Looking forward to what is coming next from this talented writer!
The past is just that; a time that has taken place before the present. Sage has two distinct past’s which were both instrumental in shaping his future. He met London and Cam when they were in kindergarten and they were best friends throughout their teenage years. But then, Sage realized he was in love with both of them and knew he never wanted to be without them. That all changed when he went to prison, which was the beginning of the second part of his past; the one he wanted to forget, but couldn’t. The cold prison cell, the loneliness and isolation that will live in his mind forever; his nightmares reliving every miserable moment.
He never saw Cam while he was in prison but London wrote him letters of encouragement and came to see him, until he pushed her away. Sage emerged from this with only memories, scars and the freedom to pursue his music which kept him sane while he was in prison. He was alone because he had alienated himself from London and Cam, believing he didn’t deserve their love.
Their short-lived reunion was a dream come true but after London and Cam left, he was still alone on his tour bus with just his memories of their passionate weekend to keep him warm.
Will the love that Sage, London and Cam have for each other be enough to withstand any complications that come their way?
“Reckless Hearts” is another beautiful and heart-wrenching story from Sierra Hill. This is the final book in The Smoky Mountain trilogy and she saved the best for last. Sage is my favorite character because even though he had a horrible family life he was able to find solace in his music that allowed him to escape his demons. His love for London and Cam never died, it was always there, waiting to burst through the fog and unite them once again. I was moved and touched by Sage’s story and there will always be a special place in my heart for the entire series.
Sierra Hill finishes off her amazing Smoky Mountain Trio series with Reckless Hearts. And what a fantastic ending!
Over the years, Cam, Sage and London have gone through a lot, but they remain madly in love with one another and desire living as a trio.
One of the best things about this series is the way each book was told from a different character's point of view. It is unique and so well done, getting us to understand each character perfectly.
In Reckless Hearts, we hear from Sage, who has never been able to have what he really wants. He wants Cam, who left him, along with London who could never fully commit to just the two of them being together.
The story of Cam, Sage and London is one of true love, where years have been wasted as they lived separate lives, but they are still unable to say no to each other when they are needed. They have a shared history with a love that can't be broken.
Sage's background is horrific, as he grew up in a house full of hate and abuse, and then spent three years in jail.
We learn that sometimes we hurt those we love, for their own good; we push them away to save them.
As Cam is injured, Sage and London are needed to help bring him back to the land of the living. They are also dealing with the ramifications of Cam's pending divorce.
Did I mention that this story is Hot? Well, it is. Very smoking hot!
Sierra Hill's Smoky Mountain Trio is absolutely addicting and I am thrilled with the way Reckless Hearts finished the series.
Finally, the conclusion to an intoxicating and beautiful relationship between three people who love hard. They’d do anything for each other.
This book was Sage’s POV. And thank goodness, because his side needed to be heard.
Put through the wringer, Sage’s life wasn’t easy, at all. Abusive father, made to feel worthless every single day. The only love he received was from Cam and London. They were his reason for living. His salvation.
The author did a fabulous job making me feel ALL THE LOVE between them. When it was just two of them, it was electric. When it was the three of them...scorching. I couldn’t get enough of these three and their fierce need for each other.
Their love was intense, passionate. The way they cared for each other was heartwarming. Their commitment was everything. I couldn’t love this trio anymore if I tried.
Once again Sierra had me so wrapped up in Sage, Cam And London! I loved reading from Sage’s point of view! Seeing what happened all those years ago with his dad that I had been wondering about. Seeing his struggle of pushing away Cam and loosing London to another man. Seeing both of them care for Cam after his accident, how they loved Taylor and all their alone time were my favorite parts. I was sad to see the end of their story but this series will be one to go back to and re read many times!!!!
The final. The conclusion of one of the most epic love stories!! We finally heard from Sage!m, the silent sensitive boy!! We got to hear how the three of them overcame everything and learned more about sage’s past!! While their love story isn’t conventional, the love shared between the three of them is. This is Sierra Hill’s best series to date
Reckless Hearts is the final book and is Sage's POV. I loved the connection London, Cam and Sage had. This was the perfect ending for their story! Loved it!
This one is book three in The Smoky Mountain Trio. It can not be read as a standalone, you must read the first two first. This one is in Sage's POV. London, Cam and Sage are great character and I have been rooting for them since the first book. In this one we get to see what Sage has gone through. I loved how strong London, Cam and Sage's bound and love is. This one is a perfect ending to the series.
Love is defined as: 1. an intense feeling of deep affection.
There is no stipulation of how many people you can love or how many you should love! It’s a deep affection so intense that you feel it in your soul! Though by some standards what Cam, Sage and London feel is unconventional, wrong but to them it’s EVERYTHING! I love that the three books spanned from childhood to now! You get the full scope of their love told through the eyes of all 3! It’s perfect how it began with London because that’s who started it all! Cam was the perfect person to bring them back together because it was him that needed to be open to this love and ending it with Sage was absolutely amazing because he is the one who is the shot caller! He is the bond that strengthens them and it’s through his strength that they can all finally love openly!
I’m always so hesitant with M/M or M/F/M but when I took the chance and read how beautiful this trio is I couldn’t help but fall right with them! Beautiful story!
I was on the edge of my seat dying for this book to come out!!! And let me tell you it DID NOT DISSAPOINT!!!! This is Book 3 of the series and told from Sages P.O.V. I fell hard for these three, and after everything they've been through, together and apart I was rooting for them to have their Happily Ever After, and oh man do they EVER!!!! Book 2 left me in tears, with my heart breaking, but reading this book has put it back together!!! Not everyone gets their HEA, nor does everyone get to meet their soulmate, but Cam, Sage and London get theirs!!!! I was rooting for these three! And let me tell you they are PERFECT!!!! This is a MUST READ series!!!!!
*warning* READ BOOK 1 & 2 FIRST! OMG, I can't believe this is the last book in this series. This whole series has had me on an emotional roller coaster. I never thought I would fall in love with a MFM series, but Sierra has out done herself with this journey that London, Sage & Cam took us on. In book 3, it is Sage's POV. I completely fell in love with young Sage and his beautiful heart in book 1 and as an adult, I fell in love with what his character grew into, even more. The love that all 3 of them express in this conclusion book, made my heart swoon. This book perfectly wraps up this whole series and still provides so many feels. I really don't want their story to ever end. :( This whole series has been soooo good. 100% best series I've read this year!
This series makes me swoon and breaks my heart all at the same time. Book # 3 is all Sage. He's looking for love, but tends to push those he loves away. He wants to isolate himself after a mistake gets him in trouble, but all 3 are struggling with young adult-ship and it's hard to roll with the punches when life knocks you back down. I think he learns that being successful and loved by millions can't replace those that truly love you.
This was such a heartfelt conclusion to the Rocky Mountain trio. Sage's story I knew would have so much heartached and heartbreak in it as he and London and Cam struggled to find a normal for the three of them. Nothing is ever easy in love and this trio had to move mountains to get their happily ever after. This was such a great read with some characters that I will remember for a long time.
What a conclusion! After that cliffhanger in book 2, I was anxiously waiting for book 3 and Sierra Hill did not disappoint!!
The relationship between Cam, Sage and London has been one of ups & downs since they all meet in Kindergarten. The way they find their way back to each other, through thick and thin, shows that they could only be happy together, as one.
Gahhhhhh!!! What an ending to an incredible series!! I have loved every second of these books and so happy that London, Cam and Sage FINALLY got their happy ever after. This story is full of twists and turns and the chemistry is HOT AF!!! I can’t recommend this one highly enough for MMF fans.
Overview: Sage, London & Cam. MFM romance. Book 3 (must read in order). Told from Sage’s POV. About 150 pages and takes places 1 week after the last book. It has a HEA and an epilogue.
Sage: Even though his music has brought him fame and wealth, Sage just wants to be loved by London and Cam. They have always been his only true family. He’s a survivor and has a steel backbone, but his heart is soft and squishy and he’s a romantic at the core.
Cam: Injured during a wildfire, he now faces a road of healing both physically and mentally. He is Not a good patient and tests the limits with London and Sage. Cam is a thinker and when faced with difficult decisions tends to withdraw. He needs to come to his own conclusions in his own time; but after he takes the long way around he always realizes that Sage and London are what's best for him.
London: London looks out for her boys. She makes sure Sage has healthy food while on tour and attends to Cam’s every need during his recovery. She won’t let anything stand in the way of her love for these two men and the beauty in her soul shines through.
Together: These three so very much need each other. Each weakness individually becomes a strength when the other two provide the support to counterbalance that weakness. They are so beautiful together and their love just overflows into all the cracks and crevices of their lives.
Overall: The story moves between present and the the time that Sage spent in jail and started his music career. They have lots of chemistry and bring a whole lot of steam to the bedroom. Cam, once again, seems to have the biggest problem accepting where Sage and London want to take the relationship. But, once he accepts and cherishes the inevitably of a life long partnership with the 3 of them, he is all in and will do anything to ensure life long happiness for this special trio.
“Twenty-five years earlier, three kids met on the first day of school. Two boys battling it out over a toy and one sassy little girl who got between them to break up their fight. That little girl grew up to remain the center of their lives – their queen. She is and was the center of their universe.”
Quotes: “We’re wrapped up in a bubble of warmth, saturated with a shared history and a love so strong it’s withstood the test of time and distance, tours, deaths, and estrangements.”
“She is his, and mine, and he is ours. We are one.”
I have loved Sage from the start of this series but finally getting his POV ramped that love up to epic proportions! What an amazing character he is. The kind that gives you hope that if you never give up on what you truly want in this life, someday if the fates allow, you will get it! He went through so much as a child and then between prison and losing Cam and London for a while and at the same time losing himself, it was looking bleak for a while. What a recovery he makes after all that love he was keep bottled up is finally reciprocated by the true loves of his life. Theirs was a difficult journey with many seemingly impossible hurdles to jump, but not giving up on each other pulled them through. Cam’s physical and emotional state was heartbreaking at times in this story but Sage and London never gave up. This all led up to one of the most wonderful conclusions to a series I’ve read in some time! These three wonderful characters will stay with you long after you read The End. Just incredible!
We finally get to read Sage’s P.O.V. told in the past while in prison and in the present. He’s always felt Cam and London can do better without him in their lives. With Cam not wanting to have anything to do with him, London is the only person that continues to provide unconditional love and support. Sage manages to purposely hurt her again and again, because he’s mad at himself, his situation, and his severed ties with Cam. And London continues to be there for him. When the unthinkable happens and Cam’s life is in jeopardy, it’s up to Sage to right the wrongs and redeem himself with London by being there for her.
This was a great series, and what made it even greater was we didn’t have to wait 6-8 months for the next book! Best friends since kindergarten, each of these characters had unexpected transitions and events happen in their lives, tearing them apart. But true loves always find their way back to each other. A great conclusion and although I’m sad to see the series end, I’m looking forward to what the author has in store for us in the future.
