Tamlir has defeated the first two realms within the temple. Even with two artifacts at his side, he's discovered the real challenge has only just begun.
While the temple is a creation of Cocidius, Tamlir discovers the gods of the Pantheon have a hand in everything, even each other's pies. Their meddling in the realms and his trials may put Tamlir and the Mad God on the same team. Whether that's a victory or a fatality remains to be seen.
Two more relics await bonding before the Zenith, the mid point between the northern and southern chambers. If Tamlir fails now, he loses the battle-beauties he's fought for, and his family's chance at his vengeance.
And losing is much closer than he realizes...
Part two of a weekly serial harem fiction. Don't be put off by the length! It's girthy, I promise.
The Cocidius books feature terrifying monsters, mythical creatures, blood, puzzles, gore, and a brave mercenary getting down with badass women who fight like hell - some of them human, some definitely not. Their adventures and escapades don't cut or fade to black.
For my review of the whole story please read the (very long) review I made for: "Temple of Cocidius: The Complete Adventure: A Monster Girl Harem Adventure"
This book is a very amazing part of an adventure best experienced as a whole! Five Stars!
This was great. The author is very descriptive and the story feels unique. Most harem book mc's don't have to work as hard as this one. I look forward to the next one.
And that pretty much sums it up lol, I like where the series is headed. The MC is on point the challenges are imaginative, the ladies world class, keep writing maxx, I'm pretty impressed so far.
So, the story continues, our main character engages in two more trials, same formula as book 1. What I liked is that Max Whittaker demonstrates a talent for fantasy writing, many of the characters, trials and descriptions of this fantasy world are top notch. The bad is that these books are criminally short and character development suffers. It’s looking like a repeated storyline establishing itself. But, for right now, the story is worth continuing.
This and the first book are peppered with simple mistakes, the kind any halfway decent proofreader would likely have found. I have an error threshold and this story is pushing it. I like the setups and characters, but the grammar and conflicting uses of context ruin the ride before I can really get into it
Or whatever you want to call it. I like the story. The premise is interesting and I want to see where it takes Lir and the ladies. There is action, suspense, a hero to cheer for, and sex - what else do you need in a good book?
I really am enjoying the story line. The amount of silly little mistakes drives me nuts! Get someone else to proofread your work before you publish! Reading your own work you see what you meant to say, not what you actually wrote.
I thought that the book was decent but I wanted more depth to the MC. The author has started to give us some of the backstory on the MC and I look forward to reading more about him. The ladies are starting k but fairly simple on development.
