& everything we love stays alive but we
are still haunted because there's no way to shrink
away from our insignificance when we want to
be so infinite.

Flight Path explores what it meanst to be temporary in an unpredictable yet seemingly infinite landscape where people, birds, and trains only stop moving when they are dead. In this largely autobiographical collection, Becca celebrates resilience and challenges the notion that time is a linear function by examining the ways in which grief framed her childhood and how those experiences continue to resurface in different forms to challenge but also guide her as an adult.

I came back to add quotes for my favorite poems here on GR, but you just can't add a line or two and take them out of context because it's poetry dammit. So, for my sanity, my favorites in no particular order: "Delphinium", "Yield", "Bullet Hole Daughter", "Red Riding Hood", that last stanza of "When You Kiss Me Goodmorning". <3
