Gabriel

Abandoned by my parents.

Growing up alone on the streets.

The mafia was the only family I’d ever known. It was a job and my life.

I wanted money to eat and survive.

Love didn’t factor into my plans.

Then, I met her.

I was supposed to gather information on a rival family—that was it. She could help me do that.

But at what cost?

Was I willing to lose her to complete my mission?

Lindsay

Unconventional had always been my brand.

I didn’t fit into my family’s mold. I didn’t have the usual college track.

I made my own way.

But I had my sights set on my future.

Then, I met him.

Suddenly, I didn’t know what I wanted. I didn’t recognize my world.

Everything was more dangerous than I ever could have imagined. What was more important, my plans or him?

Would I live long enough to find out?

Brazen is a stand-alone novel that comes with a healthy dose of steam and a guaranteed HEA.

An amazing mafia romance that has a great interesting storyline. Easily read in one sitting and is an on the edge of my seat read. It is well written and fast pace; the plot is consistent, relatable and flows smoothly. There is drama, violent suspense, kidnapping and murder to look forward to in this story. The characters are strong, complex and well developed with chemistry between them so intense, potent, and undeniable. Definitely recommended.

THIS STORY WAS AWESOME ! BAD BOY GABRIEL in every way but GOOD BOY AT HEART ❤️ where it really counts. Ava got the whole package deal. Gabriel is an orphan and has been taken in by a family who happens to be a mafia family. They took him in and gave him a job, not an honest one at that but then again it was better than being left alone on the streets. He’s given an assignment where he has to retrieve important information from another mafia family the Sabella’s. He has to temporarily move from New York to Chicago in order to accomplish his mission and that’s where he meets Ava. She’s his next door neighbour. Ava is an artist at heart and is not living off her art yet. She has a full time job as a personal assistant for a CEO of a security company who happens to be connected to organized crime. She has access to a lot of personal files and information pertaining to Richard, but has no idea he’s into organized crime. She’s very naive. Anyway, Ava and Gabriel hit it off in an unexpected way, go through some unexpected turmoil and end up with their lives intact. I won’t say more, because I recommend you read this book. As always, the author is AMAZING 😉!

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Gabriel and Lindsay. Gabriel was sent to Chicago to gather information about a mafia boss who was trying to expand his business into New York. Gabriel met Lindsay the first day he was moving into his apartment. Lindsay lived next door and she was an artist who also worked as a secretary for a security company. Gabriel was a quiet man and Lindsay was determined to get to know him. Gabriel had gotten a job as a janitor in an office building in hopes of getting his information. When Gabriel realized Lindsay was the secretary of the mob boss, he thought he could use her to get close enough for the information. Lindsay and Gabriel started seeing each other and Lindsay thought it was a casual fling, but she couldn't help wanting more. When Gabriel's cover was blown, Lindsay was in danger and he had to decide if he cared enough to save her. i liked this story. I liked Gabriel, i thought he really cared about Lindsay. Gabriel was an orphan and he didn't really know how to relate to people. I think Lindsay was out going and was good for him. Good one.

An exciting, fast paced, action packed, well written short drama romance. Lindsay works for a Security Company in downtown Chicago. Gabriel has a job to do for the Bianchi Family and goes to Chicago snooping around for information on a rival mafia family that Lindsay works for. They end up neighbors and their chemistry and connection is on before he goes to work at the security company she works at as they start a fling that starts the beginning of one steamy romance. Things get tricky as they face challenges that might break them apart. An amazing unpredictable storyline that has twist and turns, some glitches and obstacles, ups and downs with danger, intrigue and suspense captivating me from the start.

I absolutely adored this thrilling Mafia Bad Boy romance and couldn't put the book down once I began reading. I love Mafia romance and “Brazen” is one of my favorite in this genre. Once again Ava has written a story that keeps you at the edge of your seat. Gabriel works for the Bianchi crime family and is in Chicago to gather information regarding a rival mob family. Lindsay his new neighbor just happens to work for the head of the firm he is investigating. Lindsay is just the person Gabriel needs to help him with his assignment. “Brazen” contains huge elements of danger, deeply emotional moments and sizzling hot sex scenes. Another true masterpiece from this fantastic storyteller.

Fast, easy read about Gabriel and Lindsay. She's a struggling artist, in Chicago, who is working as a receptionist waiting for her "big break". He's from the mafia in NY working in Chicago, to uncover information on someone who is encroaching on the NY family's territory. It turns out he lives across the hall from her and they work in the same building. He doesn't have any family and her family wants her to be an office drone but Gabriel and Lindsay just click. There is action and adventure. It's fast and easy without leaving any holes. I was wondering how they were going to end up but it was a very suitable HEA. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).

In this book a mafia man (Gabriel) sleeps with a security company employee/artist (Lindsay) to get information about her boss, who is from a rival gangster gang. Lindsay gets kidnapped because she is now Gabriel's girlfriend and Gabriel has something the kidnapper wants. Gabriel has to rescue her. But what will happen when Lindsay finds out why he started sleeping with her? Can they possibly reach an HEA with that kind of betrayal?

I just love it when a Bad Boy meets "the one" and falls hard and fast. Ava Bloom hits the mark with this Mafia Romance because the two characters of Gabriel and Lindsey were believable and strong. Their "relationship" starts with so many coincidences that you just know that the universe had a hand in all of this. I loved the progression where they went from casual friends to people thrown together by circumstance to a strong partnership. You don't want to miss this book!

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.

this light read was a different twist on a mafia story.
gabriel was sent to Chicago to get info on a rival trying to make waves in new york and the mafia family he worked for needed it.
on arrival, he met his neighbour Lindsey the artist and also worked for the man he was there to get info on.
they start a casual affair and when things take a turn Gabriel has to decide if his loyalty is for the family or his girl.

Not my favorite of Ava Bloom’s book but was well written and thought out. Lindsey did not know what her boss was and Gabriel wasn’t what he seemed. Life has a way of throwing a curveball that gives a home run.

Drama, betrayal, and love. I loved her character...strong, confident although clueless. He grew on me over the course of the story. I didn't like him initially because he was using her. But she grew on him too and that was what made the book. An enjoyable quick story.

ONE INCREDIBLE READ!!!
Man, Ava nailed this bad boy. This is one exciting, fast paced, action packed, hard hitting, pulse racing, heart pounding, nailbiting, page turning, thrilling rollercoaster ride. Talk about unpredictable. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few glitches here and there make for one enjoyable experience. You get all the drama, suspense and danger around every corner that captivates from the start. The characters and their personalities are unique with qualities and traits that balance out perfectly. The two main characters have a solid connection and explosive chemistry. With danger stalking the two and death knocking, all you want to do is put your head between your legs. The scenes are so descriptive and detailed its easy picturing each scenario as it plays off one another beautifully. Ava did a magnificent job bringing this read to life. Fantastic job Ava, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.
