This entertaining collection features two excellent pieces by Nastasya Parker, highlighting her masterful versatility: “The Apocalypse Alphabet” showcases Parker’s ability to weave together beauty and darkness in a poignant, tender, and foreboding vignette, while “From Newcastle With Love” reveals a playful, understated sense of humor. Both stories are brilliant gems in this all-around high quality anthology!
