This manga is a collection of short stories about different people's strange experiences up in the mountains, each story was drawn by different manga-ka.

The first story is about a female hiker's death and the sightings of the scary laughing man in the hills. Scary!

The second story is about two students went to hike on the anniversary of an upper schooler's death, they spent the night in a mid-hill hut, then a snowstorm hit but they started hearing footsteps and a voice calling "Where are you?" outside of their sanctuary….who could that be? Who would linger in the wilderness in the middle of the night and under such bad weather? (Turns out it's a heart-warming story: one of the students shouted "I'm fine now, Senpai! Thank you for your effort!" and then bowed to the direction of where the sound came from. Then the spirit, seemingly glad to know the younger man is now safe, vanished.)

The third story is about a man camped near a river, but there is another tent nearby, in the middle of the night, the man heard people talking outside, was that other hikers went back to the campsite and sat near their own tent, or was that something more? It's a very chilling story, I like it very much.

A man got lost in the middle of the mountains, he struggled his way to an abandoned skiing field, and then suddenly...the rusty gondola lift started moving all on its own...(another scary story~)

In another story, the narrator met a pale, sick-looking hiker, but was it really just a regular hiker?

The last story is about a hiker who encountered a man in a blue coat, who directed him to a meadow full of flowers…

All the stories are interesting and quite chilling, I will look forward to more stories by the same author!

Este livro lê-se bem. As histórias têm um bom ritmo e entretêm (ainda que para mim, o género terror nunca me aterrorize muito)... O que aqui me parece realmente estranho é cada uma das histórias ser desenhada por artistas diferentes, mas na realidade ser muito difícil distinguir cada um deles... Ou seja, o tipo de desenho é igual em todas as histórias, o que demonstra que mangá é um estilo que pouco varia e no qual, de certa forma, os artistas não desenvolvem grande arte... Mas enfim, o objectivo talvez não seja mesmo nada artístico, apenas contar uma história gráfica sequencial... Quanto a isso, não há voltar a dar: os autores são bem sucedidos.

Amb guió de Junpei Azumi, aquests cinc relats estan il·lustrats respectivament pels mangakas Junji Ito, Daisuke Imae, Mimika Ito, Akihito Yoshitomi i Akemi Inotawa. Veure els diferents estils dels il·lustradors amb un mateix estil de narració es molt interessant, i també ho és la qualitat dels dibuixos. M'han agradat especialment els de Junji Ito i Mimika Ito. Per altra banda, la qualitat dels relats és força bona en quant al terror, tot i que en alguns casos no és tan potent com en d'altres. Destaco el primer relat, el del caminant-cadàver de les muntanyes. També m'ha agradat molt la reflexió que fa al final del llibre l'autor sobre les muntanyes al Japó i sobre el respecte que la societat els hi té, i en conjunt a la Natura, és essencialment el que penso jo... “Es Bueno desafiar a la montaña, però no intentes dominarla. Cuando te adentres en una, muéstrate respetusoso e intenta llevarte bien con ella. Los que suben montañas con ganas de dominarlas, aunque sean cimas bajas que no alcancen los 1.000 metros, tarde o temprano sufrirán su venganza.”

Interesting compilation of horror stories written by Junpei Azumi and adapted to manga by several mangakás.

Here we can clearly understand why Junji Ito is the phenomena that he is. He clearly outshines all the other mangakás.

Very enjoyable reading. Recommended for any horror fan.

This is a short story collection written by Junpei Azumi who is an aspiring Manga-ka. Seeing that he is less talented compared to his contemporaries in creating a Manga, he turns to prose writing.

This is a very good collection of short stories turned into a Manga by several artists. Through the theme of mountains.

Azumi works on the idea of Sublime and beautiful by emphasizing the beauty of mountains that are inspiring awe. Also, stating how the mountain is a source of sublime, as it is terrible and terrifying. By putting a great emphasis on the mystery and ghosts surrounding the mountains, he shows how humans are actually quite small in nature.

Hace tiempo que quería leer manga de terror, pero no quería encontrarme con alguna historia muy grotesca, porque no son para nada mi estilo. Así que he acertado con este tomo: Son historias de fantasmas escritas por un único guionista, pero varía el dibujante así que todas tienen un estilo distinto. Así he podido conocer a esos autores y ver cuáles se ajustan más a mis gustos. Por cierto, no hay nada especialmente perturbador (a parte de unas viñetas de Junji Ito que me han hecho dar un respingo...)

Não tem nem oque falar sobre a história e os desenhos, juntaram mangakás incríveis em um mesmo mangá e não poderia ser melhor ! Todas as histórias deixam a gente pensando em mil e uma possibilidades do desenrolar e te deixam com aquela agonia e friozinho na barriga ao mesmo tempo. Não dei 5 estrelas apenas pelo fato das histórias serem muito curtinhas.

Gosto de histórias de terror. E gostei das histórias desse volume. Eu gosto mais das três primeiras que das duas últimas, mas ainda sim, gostei de todas e das artes também. Recomendo.

มังงะเล่มเดียวจบที่รวมเรื่องสั้นทั้งหมด 5 เรื่องภายใต้ธีมเดียวกัน ก็คือ 'หุบเขา' และเพิ่ม 'ความสยองขวัญ' เข้าไปเพื่อปลุกเร้าความขนลุก โดยทั้ง 5 เรื่องเป็นเรื่องที่แต่งโดยอาจารย์จุนเป อาซึมิ และได้อาจารย์นักวาดรูปชื่อดังอีก 5 ท่าน (จุนจิ อิโต้, มิมิกะ อิโต้, อาเคมิ อิโนคาวะ, ไดสึเกะ อิมาอิ และอาคิฮิโตะ โยชิโทมิ) มาร่วมกันทำเรื่องราวเหล่านั้นให้กลายเป็นภาพขึ้นมา

เรื่องสั้นทั้ง 5 เรื่อง แน่นอนว่า เนื้อเรื่อ���จะต้องเกี่ยวกับการเดินทางไปที่ 'ภูเขา' และเหล่าตัวละครหลักของแต่ละเรื่องก็จะเจอเหตุการณ์ประหลาดๆ หรือเจอพวกเรื่องลี้ลับที่หา��าเหตุและที่มาที่ไปไม่ได้ มีทั้งเรื่องขนลุก เรื่องสยอง แต่บางเรื่องเราอ่านแล้วก็ขำซะงั้น 555555 ก่อนจะปิดท้ายด้วยปัจฉิมลิขิตเล็กๆ น้อยๆ ของอาจารย์จุนเป อาซึมิเอง

โดยรวมแล้วก็สนุกดีนะคะ แต่ด้วยความที่มันเป็นธีมเดียวกันหมด อาจจะฟังดูจำเจไปหน่อย แบบ.. อะไรว้าาา มันคือการเดินขึ้นเขาแล้วเจอผีทุกเรื่องใช่ปะ??? ก็ใช่นะคะ มันก็ทำนองนั้นแหละ 5555 แต่เนื้อเรื่องแต่ละเรื่องค่อนข้างแตกต่างกันพอสมควร เลยรู้สึกว่า อ่านไปแล้วไม่น่าเบื่อ และตอนจบของแต่ละเรื่องก็จบในตอนอย่างพอดี ไม่ขาดไม่เกิน ไม่ทิ้งคำถามหรือข้อสงสัย ออกไปทางเดาได้ด้วยซ้ำ 55555

Gostei de algumas das histórias, mas para ser sincera, não me pareceu em nada com contos de terror. Apesar do aspecto sobrenatural nas tramas, não há uma ambientação sinistra ou tensa na minha concepção.
São contos interessantes, em certos casos, e meio fracos e desinteressantes em outros. O ponto de partida, a ideia de incidentes nas montanhas, é bem abrangente e poderia render histórias muito instigantes e tenebrosas, mas não foi o caso aqui. São tramas simples, e como mencionei antes, se alternam entre interessantes à sem graça.

Un conjunto de 5 relatos escritos por Junpei Azumi e ilustrador cada uno por un distinto mangaka, nos muestran historias algunas aterradoras, otras si bien con experiencias sobrenaturales te dejan reconfortado o en busca del cierre para un descanso eterno; nos dejan ver qué las montañas esconden muchas cosas, nos revelan lo que quieren y pueden ser la perdición.

Me encantaron todos los relatos, mis favoritos fueron el cuarto y el capítulo 2 del quinto😭🛐🤙, en general está muy interesante y algunos relatos si dan un poco de miedo. Sobretodo el 3, el 2ndo es más bien emotivo y el 1 corto.

Lo más destacado es sin duda el guión.
El nivel gráfico es decepcionante en alguna de las historias, pues cada una de ellas cuenta con un autor distinto.
De no ser por ese aspecto, la nota podría ser más alta.
