Jeannette grew up in a large family, number ten out of eleven children, eight of them being older brothers. She quickly developed a great sense of humor, mostly from necessity. One of her greatest joys is sitting on the porch where they were all raised and hearing the stories from years gone by. Quietly laughing to herself, she notices how they embellish the stories more and more each year.
Storytelling was passed down from her grandfather and mother. Jeannette caught the bug at a very young age. If she didn’t have her head in a book, then she was off somewhere with a notebook, jotting down stories of what she would write if one day she became an author. Although the notebook may have vanished, the stories are still vivid and waiting for the right time to be told.
Despite having an amazing family, there have also been some sorrows in her life, including the loss of loved ones. Over the years, Jeannette has spent countless hours volunteering for different organizations and acting as a caregiver to those dearest to her. As a result, supporting the elderly became of utmost importance.
As she approached a milestone birthday in 2015, she decided to take her passion for writing and blend it with her desire to continue to help others. As she writes her stories, she hopes they touch someone’s life. Within the layers of the romance, the foundation remains throughout and is one that is dear to her; make a difference in someone’s life each day!
In 2016 she met someone who encouraged her to push herself even further and try her hand at spicy intrigue. One year later she has four books in this new series and each one pushing her limits just a bit further.
Like the wind, Jeannette’s life changed directions several times over the years, yet one constant remains: her desire to leave this Earth a little better than when she entered it as she tries to live by these words, Make your mark on the world today as your acts of kindness is all anyone will remember in years to come!
The ending was rushed. I expected more about Chris' meeting with his father. His father abandoning him was the root of his bitterness and to dust over the meeting was unfair. The story feels incomplete. I've always liked Melissa and she continued to show her strength.
I have to say that I was disappointed in this. The others really went into the relationship development between the characters, as well as moving the plot along. In this one, everything was rather superficial, including Chase's/ Chris's reunion with his bio father, and some elements were just thrown in, such as the two royal brothers. Somehow that really didn't make a whole lot of sense to include in this book.

Melissa Turchetta loved her five brothers (Rafe, David, Renzo, Gabe & Josh) but they could be extremely overprotective. But after what happened to their younger sister, she understood where they were coming from. Her job was her safe haven, as a physical therapist she loved helping veterans recover from their injuries. When one of her former patients (Mac Muller) asked for her help, she couldn't deny him.
Chris Stratton, a former Army Ranger who'd been helping the Turchettas in protecting others. They worked well together and they accepted him as one of their own. He was attracted to their sister, the beautiful, smart, strong and caring...Melissa Turchetta.
She needed his help with a friend of his and he was right there by her side. But being by her side wasn't easy, he had to face his darkest demons in order to help her. Melissa helped her brothers in the past when it came to the women they loved now it was her time to show them what she was made truly of.
Chase Muller was just closer to Melissa than she thought. He was so angry with his biological father that he didn't want anything to do with him. His anger was understandable and she made him see that what his father did was in his best interest. Even though he didn't see it that way at the time now he understood.
FOR LOVE is the sixth book in Jeannette Winters' TURCHETTA'S PROMISE series. It was emotional, beautiful and captivating. Ms Winters did an incredible job! 5++++
Another great read from Jeannette. Melissa and Chris finally meet when Melissa, Josh and Ellie goes to Italy for a vacation and David and Chris hop on their flight for a mission, although Chris already knows Melissa because he’s watched over her before she doesn’t really know Chris so when Melissa gets all the women together for a vacation at a farm in Italy that’s Chris recommends they’re in for a shock but like the badass women they are they make the most of it. Then Melissa and Chris stay for a week on the farm to help Serivo out as it’s Chris's goto place to decompress after missions they find more to each other than they thought. Melissa is looking for a man who works for her brother to help out one of her patients but her brothers won’t give her any details where he is, unbeknown to her she’s staying at the same form as her but it takes a while for them both to know it. It takes quite a while for Melissa and Chris to come together maybe to long for me but still a great read.
This is the story of Melissa the Turchetta Brothers sister and Chris Stratton forget Army Ranger and now post of Turchettas Promise.
They both meet when a former patient of Melissa's Mac Muller asks to locate his son who do happens to work for her brothers. When she asks help from her brothers she is turned away. This is where Chris wants to help her but is going by his ethics and integrity. However he feels an instant connection with Melissa but doesn't want to ruin his friendship with her brothers.
They both are lost souls after suffering great loss. They get to face their past and bury their demons whilst falling in love with each other.
This is an amazing story of a journey of discovery on a farm in Italy.
Who would have thought that Melissa would fall for someone who works for her brothers or that they'd let Chris anywhere near her. Lots of exciting things happening and learning to forgive.
Very good story line. The trip overseas, the farm, and all the different relationships. Would certainly purchase the book to read if I were looking for entertainment.
For Love and so much more! The perfect story!! Melissa Turchetta finds her love in life. My favorite part is when they go visit the Stratton parents. Awwww I don’t think they had a better day in their whole lives. 5 Stars!
