This is hands-down one of the best chapbooks I've read this year. It kept me absolutely riveted from beginning to end. I wasn't sure, as I began, how I felt about reading a whole chapbook in the language of what's essentially a film script. I thought it might be boring, but I actually totally got into it and it held my attention completely. The topic itself was interesting, as were the sidetracks in the story. I would actually love it if the author expanded it further into a novella or novel-length work. This is absolutely a must-read from Ghost City Press' 2018 summer micro-chapbook series.
