I’m being whisked from one end of Netherworld to the other so Aed can court girls she deems more eligible than me. I am trying to accept my new role as Aed’s betrothed, but my rebellious heart refuses to leave Devlin in my past. As we draw nearer to the Wall separating my realm from the beasts of Hollow Earth, I can feel something is different. The Lorcan souls are changing and that scares the shite out of me. I received this ARC from Red Coat Publishing and the authors in exchange for an honest review.
The story continues and it’s a dire situation for Taryn and friends. I was excited to get this book in my hands and felt a bit subdued after the amazing first book I could barely put down long enough to eat/sleep.
This installment was mainly character driven, which is by no means a bad thing. I was just looking forward to more of the action and anticipation and the rawness of the characters’ emotions to have a greater part in this book.
The reader gets to know all of the characters very well and I did appreciate the various scenes with the king and queen that demonstrate so well how twisted they really are. It takes great skill to cause my blood to boil from reading about an unpleasant character, and these two certainly accomplished that.
I found the story itself was a bit too slow for my liking and with the changing point of view from one character to the next the reader gets to know more about the characters, but there was some repetition that I thought hindered the progression of the story.
Overall, it was still an entertaining story, I just made the mistake to continuously compare it to the first book.

So worth the wait! I loved every part of this book... except the fact that I was left with a major book hangover...UGH. But other than that it had everything I needed to delve back into the Hallowed Realm. The characters make you love them, and the world that has been created gets more intriguing as the series goes on. I was not sure how things would turn once we left last time, but I am happy with the way things are going and NEED the next one- so I can find out what happens next. Oh... let's talk about the twists they threw in on me... I did not see the revelations coming and was very surprised but also had an almost like hmm...ok moment when certain things took place. If you have read the first book then you definitely have to read this one. If you haven't, what are you waiting for- this book is one that will be going in my top reads for 2018!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book which was awesome because I have been waiting for forever for the book to come out. It’s such a great read, the characters are well developed and I love how proper Irish it is. Once I started reading this I didn’t wan to put it down. You think you have things figured out then BAM plot twist! If you have read the first book then it answers a few questions stemming from it but it also raises new questions. This book is full of surprises and have you going “WHAT THAT CAN NOT BE HOW IT ENDS!” Amy and Danielle are an awesome duo of storytellers and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next!

Holy hallowed realms!! Amy Miles and Danielle Bannister are officially a dynamic duo. I had no idea how they were going to top book one but wow - did they ever! This book picks up right where the first left off and it takes off running. It is another richly detailed story, with complex, relatable characters that draw you in to their universe. Somehow we know you are an integral part of the story that is unfolding. And the twists kept me riveted to the very last page. Well done, ladies!! Now hurry up and finish the next book so I know how the story continues!!!!!! Please!

WOW! I could NOT put this book down. I wasn't sure the first book could be topped but I loved the banter between Aed and Taryn and the twists and turns...so good! Let's just say that you can choose sides if you like, but don't get too attached to your choice.
Another amazing story in this trilogy, with characters you love dearly or hate with a passion. This series is only getting better. The only problem I have with this story is that now I have to wait for the third installment of the trilogy.

I have enjoyed reading Amy’s books for awhile! So always looking for a new good trilogy or book, I read Book 1 in like a 3 day binge! Then was soo sad Book 2 wasn’t out yet. I stalked Amy’s page waiting for updates and actually preordered Book 2! Let me tell you, I love these characters! They rank right up there for me with the Aortas Novel characters! I don’t want to give any spoilers but Book 2 will definitely keep you drawn in, and leave you wanting more!

I loved the first book in this series and number 2 did not disappoint! I was falling in love with all of the developing relationships and couldn’t decide who I wanted together in the end. The love triangle becomes a love square?? The ending twist!!! POW! I never saw it coming at all ! Amy and Danielle write beautifully together! This is a fantastic story and a great escape !

Hallow Earth the hallowed Realm book 2 by Amy Miles and Danielle Bannister.
This was a very enjoyable read. I loved the story and the characters. There were some characters I didn't like. Nolan being one. I loved were taryn got him. Brilliant. What a twister didn't see that coming. I really felt for taryn. I do hope there is more to come from this series. 5*.

What an amazing second book in the series, I was struggling to decide who I wanted her to be with in the end, however towards the end I had the decision ripped from my hands!! What a way to finish a book and leave us poor reader hanging.

I really enjoyed Hollow Earth. From the beginning of the story all the way to the end, I felt like I had to keep reading and find out what would happen. Amy Miles and Danielle Bannister are brilliant Authors and their stories really come to life!

Good book. Parts of it did seem to drag a little. But once again Taryn’s character is so good. Aed comes around and I actually like him again. Good story line. A crazy plot twist shows up. Can’t wait for the third book.

A really good read.
The character developement was done well and the story kept moving. The twist at the end of book 2 was well timed. Looking forward to the final book. I just hate having to wait nearly a year for it's release. :(

I received this eARC novel from Red Coat Publishing. This is my honest review.
Taryn is being tortured. Going on the royal tour to other lands is downright miserable for her and she is ready for it to be over. She is very grateful for Prince Aed saving her life by saying she was his intended wife, but now she has to suffer through the royal protocols.
And she is also trying to forget her feelings for Devlin, even though she knows that nothing could happen between them being a banshee and human, but that doesn't stop the way she feels. Hopefully her and Aed will find some common ground with their new future.
Devlin is determined to get to the Netherworld. One, so he can find Taryn and make sure she is okay, and two, so he can find Tris and figure out how to help Seamus, who is getting sicker and sicker with the Lorcan bite that he got.
Finally Devlin was able to get into contact with Tris, and they were able to be smuggled into the Netherworld. When he finds Taryn, the situation is far more complicated than he could have imagined.
And with the Lorcans changing and attacking out of normal, Taryn is determined to save her people, even if Aed is all about the ridiculous royal tour.
But things are about to become very complicated when everyone realizes just how much the Lorcan has changed, and the fate of everyone's lives are in very grave danger.
I seriously am enjoying this series so much! There were SO MANY twists and turns in this book. One that made me disappointed, because I really am Team Aed, and now that isn't in the cards, which is very upsetting, but I'll get over it.
I have so many questions after the big bomb went off at the end, and none that I can ask because it will contain spoilers to everyone who hasn't read this book yet, but they are killing me!!
And it also is killing me that I have to wait for FOREVER to get the next book and find out what happens. Have I mentioned that I hate cliffhange endings in series...? Sigh...
Anyway, I really loved this book, I really love these characters, and I really love this world that Amy and Danielle have createad. I wish that I had the eniter series to binge read through fast, but I guess I will have to contain my frustration of having to wait.
Fans of Amy and Danielle and this series are going to love this book with the twists and turns and action that is jam packed into this novel! I'm so glad I've had the opportunity to read it!!

Hollow Earth is the second installment in the Hallowed Realms series. It picks up right where the events of the first book left off. Taryn and Aed are off touring Netherworld while Aed screens potential brides. Devlin, stuck on Earth, is doing everything he can to get to Taryn while caring for his best friend Seamus as he recovers from a lorcan attack. Meanwhile, the lorcans seem to be rising in power and getting more ruthless and daring as the story progresses. The book is told from alternating points of view of the main and some supporting characters. All these characters are linked to each other through their chapters, so this didn't take away from the flow of the story or create distractions. It shows the lengths characters will go for those they love, even if they have everything stacked against them. Readers get to learn a bit more of the kingdom and the role of the otherworldly characters in this imagined world of life after death. Aed goes through some interesting character development. Taryn stays true to herself, so she maintained her status as a likable kick ass female lead. This book does include some interesting twists and does end on a cliffhanger. Looking forward to the next installment.

I had been waiting ever so patiently for this book to come out. Once it did I took my time reading it, not by choice, but because life got in the way. But man... I couldn’t put it down once I was able to sit and read it! You think you have things figured out, you think you know what’s going on, and then BAM!!! The book PIVOTS is a way I never saw coming! I mean, the twisty-ness is twisty. I’m needing book three now... but I’ll wait-patiently-for it to come out! Get this book!

After reading the first in this series I could not wait for the next. The characters are developed well and it's such an exciting story. I'm not usually a fan of duel author books because at times it doesnt seem to work but this one does. Amy and Danielle do such a great job of telling this story. This book does end on a cliffhanger. Cant wait for the next book in the series.

Amy and Danielle did it again. This series is a wonderful read. I love being sucked in and feeling as though I am Taryn. Then just when you think you know what's going to happen.... bam! Plot twist that you did not see coming! Can't wait for the next book in the series!

I really enjoyed this 2nd instalment to the series. I love all the main characters and naturally I hate the king and queen lol The story for me was gripping and kept me intrigued all the way through. I look forward to read any future instalments hopefully if there are any.

This is the 2nd in thus series. Such a fabulous read. I couldn't put this book down. It answered a lot of unknown, but left you wondering that much more. I cannot wait for the next book!

As the story unfolds, the reader is taken on a roller coaster ride of unending twists and turns only to pull into the station for a stunning surprise. In all of my imaginings of where the story was going, I never would have foreseen what was revealed. This was another great collaboration of two very talented writers. The worst part of the whole book is the wait for the next one to find out what happens next.
