Another Spectacular Book by Bry Ann, 5 Stars+++
Wow, what an extraordinary book! This is the conclusion to Nix and Sage's story. Bry Ann did an excellent job writing their story. You cannot help but love Nix. He is such an amazing man with what he has been through growing up with his abusive father and mother. And the fact that his father is a ruthless murder and mother an alcoholic that beat him continuously. But his love for Sage is unparalleled. Sage has been through sexual abuse, torture, and so much more. My heart broke for both of these people. You should read the Roses and Thorns series first, which is exceptional, then Shattered, so you have the background on these two people plus you will read about the other characters that appear and influence this book. I cannot say enough about how this book is so full of emotion and kept me prisoner until I finished reading it. Don't miss out on this phenomenal book and the other series by Bry Ann.

Perfect conclusion to Nix and Sage's story!
This story is about Nix's past, his childhood, his relationship with his parents, twists and horrors which he endured, before saving Sage.
Sage says he save her, but at the end Sage saved him, his shattered, fucked up soul and life. In other words this was a story of true broken souls that found their salvation in each other.
I absolutely love this amazing story, love how our heroes evolve through time of horror, how they survived, healing each other in the proccess. I absolutely loved that many of our beloved characters from Roses and Thorns were presented, how everyoen worked to help Sage and Nix.
I loved Sage's father, what an amazing yet so complicated ( from the 1st book) character.
And yeahhh.... Marketta... Well, he got what he deserved!
Highly recommend this book to the lovers of TRUE LOVE THAT CONQUERS EVERYTHING.

Wowzers!! what a second part!!
This story delves back to the beginning for Nix, exploring how he became the man broken and used by his own father after saving Sage.
Sage has been through so much and Nix has serious issues that are buried deep. Sage says Nix saved her but they actually saved each other.
I absolutely loved this story and the book mentions all the characters from the Rose and Thorn series (which I highly recommend you read first). So what's next - Frances were waiting for you!! 😊 Think Ray needs a little Bry Ann side novella too, that girl has seen so much!!

Book 2 and you get to read about Nix finally!
I loved Sage story but being able to get into Nix head and understand how he works, and what happened to him was really good. It was really sad sometimes but it was important to truly understand him.
In this book you will see Sage and Nix but also others characters from the series Roses and Thorns!
Thank you for this ending, it couldn’t have been more perfect that this.

Wow, I don’t know where to begin with this. The book was everything I had hoped for and then some. This was a hard book to read in some parts and then there were other parts that I was cheering internally, my husband would have given me weird looks if they were out loud. With such a touchy subject of Sage and Nix’s lives and relationship, Bry Ann did a wonderful job with their stories and left me actually wanting to read more about them.
Nix’s life was so beyond normal that it’s amazing he is the man he is. His kind heart, and tough exterior make him such a great character. He is a mixture of good and bad, but he can’t see that. He only sees the monster that was created when he was young. Sage’s need for a hero will help to heal Nix as much as it will Sage, and their lives will change so much in this story.
I was so happy to see Nix’s side of his encounter and relationship with Rose in his story. It helped to understand him on a different level for me. I know that we saw some of it in the Roses & Thorns series, but reading it in his own story was more impactful for me.
I was thrilled with the ending of this duet, but hopefully not the end of Sage and Nix. I am hoping to read more about them in other books that are spun off from the Roses & Thorns series.
I give this book a 5 star review and am so happy I was able to read Nix’s story. His childhood broke my heart.
I highly recommend that you read this story as well as the Roses & Thorns series and Shattered. To get the full story, you have to read all of the books in the series as well as Cut and Enzio and the duet. I hope that you fall in love with these characters the same way I did.

This was an amazing conclusion to a story that both broke my heart and had me believing in the power of love.
Nix and Sage have been through a lot, both as individuals and together, and this story was the perfect way to celebrate that. This story is mostly focused on Nix, his childhood and the things the had to endure to become Sage's savior (through in reality, they saved each other). The re-introduction of old characters only adds to the story.
What I love about this author’s books is that they feel so real. You can feel Sage breaking, Nix becoming stronger; you can feel the pain and the redemption. I also love how she writes her characters. Sage is strong and fierce, sweet and caring; even after all she has been through. Nix is confident and bold, a bit bitter at time but also knows how to love.
After reading this duet, I really want to be friends with these characters. They are so strong and I know we would get along! Please consider these two stories. They may be difficult to read at times, but the pay off is so worth it. I received an ARC and I am leaving an honest review.

ok i hate to give to this book 3 stars but i have no other choice,
i love Nix a looooot and it pained me to see that YEARS OF THEM TOGHETER still didn't make her open up with him!!! she didn't get helo , she didn't do anything! she just stay's hidden in the house, i absolutly hate it, i can understand it maybe 1 year...but 7-8? this is to much.
Don't get me wrong , i'm happy they are good togheter..but from my point of view and the relationship they had from the begginin it's unrealistic she is this way so many years. for god sake she is young and she have Nix support..come on girl, you are not brave fo your Nix at all. I fell dissapointed honestly, the things they do to the end of the book should definetly been done the first years. Damn... :( anyway...i'm happy all turn out well, but i hate that years playing around the problems. not acceptable. not in their case. like i still don't accept from Rose's book her fake murdered (i stopped reading that series when she did that. )

A beautiful sequel to Shattered.
Sage is so strong! I love how her strength shines through so much in this book and Nix is so perfect for her, while dealing with his life and coping with his own emotions too. It's beautiful witnessing all the relationships from book one grow and develop. A lovely sequel to Shattered. Highly recommended.

This was my first series by this author and I really liked it she was raw and honest about trafficking and the aftermath of it. I didn’t read roses and thorn before this but now I’m off to read it

I loved the first book but this one jumped in time so much that I felt like I couldn’t fully get behind it and stay intrigued. It was more of a finish it just to finish the second book type of read for me.
