allow your pain to remind you how powerful you were, and how powerful you still are. allow your hurt to show you how far you have come, and how far you are still able to go. do not feel guilty for putting yourself first. there is no shame in doing what is best for you. there is no shame in fighting for your own happiness, for fighting for yourself. - in case you have forgotten
I cried so much throughout this whole book. I left an abusive relationship and this rings so true to my heart. I highlighted so many areas that need to be focused on and reread. My heart feels lighter knowing the writer was so relatable and being reminded that I am not alone. Thank you, Kiana Azizian.
I really liked this book, it spoke to me about one of my exes like too similarly. Why I only gave it 3 stars was because I felt like at the end it was mainly repetitious and saying the same things earlier poems said just in new words. But if you ignore the last like 20 pages its a clear 5 stars
I’m such a sap for poetry, and this was a beautiful ride of heartbreak and sap for me. I loved this a lot and I would recommend it. I only gave it four stars because it did become repetitive over the course of the book but overall it was really good!
This book was beautifully written. I love how it wasn't just a collection of random poems, but instead told a story throughout the book. This particular author is very skilled and I love all of her works so that I have read.
