About the author

Jane Chichester was born in London and grew up in rural Hampshire. She was educated at home and went to school briefly in Somerset, Cambridgeshire and the House of Citizenship, London. Following this she studied music and French in Lausanne and traveled in Italy and France in between variety of jobs ranging from TV script writer to secretary. In 1957 she married Roger Longrigg, a well-known British author.
