Sports stories
Great sports story! It's hard to find safe sports reads because a lot of authors like to portray them as skanks who can't control themselves. That was not the case with this story at all. The hero was not portrayed as a manwhore. He was focused on the game until he sees the heroine. The only thing that brought the rating down was not knowing if he was with others after meeting heroine (who he has known for years)

-no ow/om drama
-no pushing away
-great extended epilogue which keeps me coming back to this author

This book was ok. There wasn’t much character development and while it’s clear the hero is a baseball player I couldn’t for the life of me tell you what the heroine does with her life. Then again their relationship comes out of left field, and goes zero to a hundred in a matter of days (really probably hours if you total them up). The hero is supposed to be bff’s with the heroines brother so there is supposed to be some existing relationship between them but really I just thought them all weird. I didn’t really feel any kind of way for either of them really, especially them as a couple. I mean cool. Whatever!! 😂 While I usually love a good instalove novella and all it’s nuances, this one just felt overly forced and rushed. One scene that’s sticking to me most is at one point the hero pauses on the field to take a sniff because he can separate the smell of the heroine in the midst of thousands of people, smelly teammates and a musty dugout. I mean really lol???!?!?!

This was a good older man, younger woman love story. The age difference wasn't horrible, just nine years.
Our twenty-year-old heroine, Brynn, has had a major crush on her brothers best friend since she was a kid. Now she's finished college, started a career and it's time she reaquaint herself with the man who has held her heart for all these years.
Our hero is Bryce, a twenty-nine-year-old, baseball star who is at the heighth of his career. Baseball has always been the most important thing in his life and his best friend has had a big hand in that. Always being there for Bryce he has helped coach him since he was a young boy.
At their final game of the play-offs, Bryce catches sight of the most beautiful woman he has ever seen cheering for him in the stands...Brynn...his best friends younger sister. He decides it's time now for him to make his move, their time to finally be a couple. She's grown up now and his perfect match.
As a ball is hit foul Bryce runs into one of the first rows to catch the ball (right where Brynn and her brother is sitting) and protects Brynn from the man behind her who is trying to push her down so that he can catch the ball. He knocks down the guy who has his elbow in Brynn's back to the floor and makes certain he isn't going to hurt her. In the process he grabs her and kisses her, their first kiss but believe me it won't be the last.
They meet up later and they are both truly smitten. It was love at first kiss! We know she's a virgin but it doesn't say anything about his status in that area. The author does tell us that he has spent the time that the other players spend partying crafting his game and career.
Why 3.75 stars and not more? I thought it was at least a 4-4.5 star read until we get past half way. Then it seemed to slow down and I found myself wanting to crank up the speed. There was a bit of ridiculousness in the final game of the world series that was not very believable.
There is a pet peeve of mine and it was definitely in this book. We are not told of his sexual history but led to believe he did not party and/or play around like all his other teammates. I didn't expect him to be virginal but was hoping he was not a professional at sexual intimacy. YET (and this gets me every time) when they finally make love after all the years of knowing each other he is perfection in the area of sexual pleasure appearing very experienced, knowing exactly what to do in any sexual situation. That was a disappointment for me. Of course I didn't dare believe they were both virginal. He is a highly sought after man and every woman wants him and the many, many millions he has.
I still enjoyed the story but the slowness of the story and his apparant experience was kind of a downer for me. When a guy lets the readers know that he hasn't been a player like his buddies I just didn't expect this level of perfection in bed. Had I known up front that he had been quite sexually experienced it would have saved me the disappointment.

For as long as Brynn can remember her heart has only belonged to one man, her brother's best friend Bryce. Bryce and Finn used to play Baseball together when they were younger and now Bryce has made it into the big leagues. He is now playing on his home court and Brynn has tickets. With their age-gap, the romance would be frowned upon by Finn, but Bryce isn't going to let Finn this time come between him and the girl he wants. Baseball Mine is one of those quick instalove older man/ younger woman romances by Flora Ferrari - my guilty pleasure read as I can read them without having to think too deeply about the book. They are what I call surface romance stories and just like a baseball soaring through the sky, the romance glides through the book. This was a good, solid read, not one of my favourites but good nonetheless. The couple fell in love and got engaged very quickly. I wish they had a little more time together before this plunge. The story was sweet and sexy and has dual POV.

Brynn goes on a date with om because she owes him for giving her the tickets to the game, she does not want to be there. Bryce comes in and quickly puts a stop to it. This book is 100% safe, no op drama. Brynn is a virgin and Bryce’s sex life prior is not mentioned.

Oh MY! This is such a sweet romance - don't get me wrong, this is a story by Flora Ferrari so we also have STEAM HEAT!!! Finn is Brynn's older brother and she used to hang round with him and his best friend Bryce as much as they would let her whilst growing up even though they were nine years older than her. Brice is now a very successful baseball player which both he and Finn dreamed of being. Brynn has crushed on Bryce since she first 'noticed' boys so she has it bad for him. When she gets an opportunity to get some tickets to a game where he'll be paying she can't resist - even if it means having to go on a date with a creep from her office. But at the ballgame she notices him straight away and it seems that he noticed her too. When the ball flies towards her he seems to set his eyes on her even though he's after the ball and shoves the jerk behind her from hurting her. And that, as they say, is the beginning of their HEA! Will Finn approve when he finds out that she's got tickets from Brice to come to another game in New York? When Bryce sneaks out of his hotel in New York to be with her it is so romantic and sweet where he takes her. He is her first kiss and her first everything. Not everything is going to go smoothly but what a journey! Bryce is going to stay in your memory as one of Flora's most romantic of romantic heroes so be prepared to swoon. Bridges and a candlelit boathouse are going to feature in your dreams from now on. I also loved the epilogues as they are so much fun to see how the future pans out for them. I love Flora's stories but this must be the sweetest yet and I loved every second of it [pizza restaurant and Bryce marching in is probably one of the most satisfying scenes ;) ]. Pretty quick read did get kinda slow in the middle.
Brynn has been crushing hard on her brothers best friend and she hasn't seen him for awhile due to his always on the road or playing baseball.. now she gets to see him live and in action.. but some drunk dude almost ruins her night and Bryce workaholic, funny and protective is there to save her from the drunk and a ball heading their way. They can't even be sneaky since he kissed her in front of millions of ppls and his best friend (her brother) even if the brother hated it lol he made sure after that night she was his even helping her out on that horrible date she was forced to go on for the tickets from the coworker.. (Bryce is so possessive lol)
These two were just cute together..
No cheating, no ow drama &om drama (if you count that horrble date) sexy times, slight secondary charas, No virgins

Bryce is a professional baseball player and when he sees his best friend and his little sister at one of his games he just about loses it for Brynn. Brynn has always had a thing for her older brother's best friend but never thought anything would come of it. She got tickets to this game by promising a co-worker she'd go out on a date with him. When Bryce notices another fan getting a little too close to Brynn for comfort he sets a play into motion that will have him going into the stands to catch a fly ball. After a killer catch he plants a steamy kiss on Brynn in front of everyone upsetting her brother. Bryce knows that Brynn is the one he wants to spend his life with. Bryce gets them tickets to the first game in the world series and pays for their stay however he can't wait until he is allowed to go out to see her. When Bryce gets caught breaking curfew to see Brynn he ends up getting suspended from the game. Yet when Brynn starts the fans cheering for him he gets his chance to show that he deserves to play. Can Bryce show Brynn's brother that he is serious about her?
This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Bryce and Brynn is steamy hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Brynn and Bryce. Brynn has had a crush on Bryce for as long as she can remember. She is the woman who is cheering him on when she gets the chance to go to one of he professional games. Little did she know what would change at that game. It only takes one look at Brynn for Bryce to realize his best friends little sister is all grown up and the woman he knows he can't live without. However things don't always go as smoothly as we want when trying to get that first chance with the girl of your dreams. Can these two get a HEA with a home run or will outside influences make that impossible and they have a foul ball instead?
This is another super hot book from this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin this book for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. This author has you connecting with these characters in ways you never thought you would. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I just notice that once the characters have kids that their name starts with the same letter of the parents. Funny, I did the same with my children.
Flora you have written another wonderful story of a 29 year old baseball player who sees his childhood best friend sister after some years and it's insta love.
This wonderful story takes the reader to New York and some of most forgotten bridges that the reader may have never heard about, but the way the bridges were described, it was like I was walking with Brynn and Bryce. With each book that Flora writes, more information is given about places and even more detail that involved the characters lives, like in this one we hear about Brynn grandma who has cancer, which is why Brynn went to college to be a Radiation specialist so that she can assist in her grandma treatment.. I just love how I see the love that flows between the man who knows what he wants and doesn't let anything stand in his way... Bravo Flora for another great story!

Bryce is a star baseball player close to reaching his dream of playing in the World Series. He sees his best friends sister, Brynn in the stands. He has always liked her but when a foul ball takes him right straight into her something comes over him and he kisses her. In that moment he knows he has found his forever. Brynn has been in love with her brothers best friend since forever. She has saved her everything just for him, hoping that he will eventually see her as something more than his best friends little sister. When Bryce kisses her, has she found her forever or was it just a fluke because Bryce was overwhelmed with getting the win? The romantic sweet journey these two take towards their happily ever after is a fun, well written story. I really enjoyed the characters and appreciated the fact that it was a straight up love story without a lot of angst and worry. I highly recommend this one for a quite afternoon snuggle feel good read.

This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book within half an hour and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the story easy to get into. I liked Brynn. I liked how obsessed she was with Bryce. She loved him and wanted him to be her man but she didn’t think the feelings would be returned. She needn’t have worried, as professional baseball player Bryce wanted Brynn from the moment he saw her in the crowd. Bryce was Brynn’s older brother’s best friend. He wasn’t afraid to lose his best friend when it came to claiming the woman he wanted.
The chemistry between Brynn and Bryce was clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I thought Bryce’s proposal speech was super sweet.
I loved that Brynn hyped up the crowd more than once to help the man she loved in the game he loved

Another great read! Brynn and Bryce were such a hot couple. I like how even though Bryce was older than Bryne the age difference and their actually ages were quite close and both were actually under 30. Nothing is wrong of course with a bigger age difference and the male being a bit more mature. I just found this book refreshing. I really enjoyed the storyline as well as the setting. It seems just in time with what is going on right now. I found the facts about the bridges in Prospect Park fascinating. I have hear of the park and have read about it. I have never however, knew about the bridges and how many there were and the history of them. I really liked the love story of Brynn and Bryce and how he made sure she knew exactly how he felt about her. The epilogue an the extended epilogue were great. Such a great HEA! I can't believe Ms Ferrari is up to 80 books already! Only twenty more to go before she hits 100!

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the older man/ younger woman romance between Bryce and Brynn. Bryce is best friends with Brynn's older brother and he plays baseball in the MBL. Brynn has always had a crush on Bryce and when she gets tickets to a game, she brings her brother Finn. During the game, Bryce sees Brynn in the stand and he knows she will be his. When Bryce catches a foul ball and wins the game, he kisses Brynn, much to everyone's surprise. Bryce then sets out to make Brynn realize they belong together. Bryce sends tickets to Brynn for her and Finn, and then he sneaks out after curfew to see her. I really liked this story. I thought Bryce was so sweet to Brynn and he was so romantic. Bryce knew from the beginning he loved Brynn and he wanted to start their life together. Another great hot and steamy read about instant love from Flora!

Another amazing read by Flora Ferrari! Brynn and Bryce were so incredible together. Bryce and her brother Finn grew up together and Bryce hasn't seen her in a long time. When he sees her in the bleachers at his playoff game, he is overwhelmed with his intense need to stake his claim. Brynn has had a crush on Bryce for years and would like to stake a claim of her own. What follows is an amazing few days in New York as they enjoy spending time together where Bryce sets out to claim his woman and also win the World Series. Bryce was everything a book boyfriend should- gorgeous, strong, OTT possessive, but also kind and caring and willing to do anything foe his woman! Definitely recommend!!!!!! 5 stars!!!

I absolutely love read this older man younger women series by Flora Ferrari and she keeps them coming hot and heavy. Bryce is about to each his goal of playing in the wold series of baseball and he sees his best friends sister sitting in the stands. He has always had a thing for her and when a foul ball taking him staring to her he takes his opportunity and kisses her. She is extatic but she wonders if it was only because he won or does he see her as more than just his friends little sister. So worth reading.

Well blow me down with a feather & call me Mildred! This book, like all the rest by this author blew me away with the amount of sweetness offered up.
I completely fell in love with Bryce & Brynn as characters. Their instant connection they shared, had me on the edge of my seat turning pages just to find out what happened next. I became totally immersed within this story & didn't want it to end!
I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone - It's a delicious read with plenty of swoon-worthy treats for the reader to devour!
Well done Flora. Your writing melts my kindle every time, but very much worth it! I look forward to more.

I loved everything about this story! It had all the things I like in a good story; a great plot-line, an awesome chemistry between the main characters, an easy flow throughout the whole story, a little angst but resolved quickly, a sport theme love romance, a hot older and experienced man and the younger woman who may not be as experienced but knows what she wants and what I love above all, is the happily ever after and the awesome epilogues <3 <3
This was another successful written story by this amazing author, Flora Ferrari and I'm already excited for the next story to be announced!! :)

He is also her biggest crush. She agreed to a date with a one of her co workers just to score play off tickets in their home town, for her self and her brother.

Fun, fast paced and steamy. Loved Bryce, an alpha with a hyperactive puppy side. He and Brynn are perfect together. Loved the very public first kiss. Romantic proposal and first time together. Great epilogues.
I love Flora's books. They are an automatic buy for me. I know I will get a great story.

This was such a romantic as well as heated romance with NYC as the backdrop. Swoon worthy.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. Loved it. Brynn is a young woman who has a major crush on her brother's best friend and the star first baseman, Bryce. He's hiding his crush on her to. He's nine years older but once he sees her again, all bets are off, she will be his. Follow their adventure as they great thru playoffs and the world series and the beginning of their long and happy life together. Well written with lots of heat and fin story line. Quick read that will not disappoint.

Once again a marvelous well written romance from Flora Ferrari. It has a bit drama, a lot passion, friend-to-lovers, possessive alpha male, sweetness, passion, love and lust. A mix that makes is a short but absolutely fantastic read.
Great story line and plot. Would have liked more about his and hers (grandmother) family but I like that they support each other and goes all the way to do it.
Recommendable to all that likes a sweet romance with a possessive alpha male and strong woman.

A heartwarming beautiful storyline that is very entertaining and enjoyable. It is a delightful and delicious romance that is a fast-pace, witty, steamy read, with off the charts chemistry between the characters. It is a wonderful story and I found myself laughing throughout the entire book. Flora Ferrari struck a home run with this book. Strongly recommended.

Brynn and Bryce had known each other since they were kids, because he was best friends with her brother Finn. It wasn't until Bryce caught sight of Brynn at one of his games that he knew he had to claim her. I loved it when Bryce staked his claim in front of the entire stadium. I laughed at how utterly clueless Larry was about Brynn spending time with him and his reaction to Bryce was priceless.

Flora Ferrari delivers another home run with this baseball inspired book that has Bryce falling for his best friends younger sister Brynn. I absolutely loved how Bryce took what he wanted despite the consequences. Brynn had a way of getting to him that only true love could mess with a players game. You’ll absolutely love this book that will get you excited for the biggest win of all.

Just the right time to read a romantic baseball story.
Great fun read specially since the World Series is on right now. The latest series of story from Flora Ferrari gave great descriptions of different places that you can imagine yourself being there with the MC.
The hero and heroine knew each other but have not seen each other for several years. When they met up again it’s fireworks 💥. A lovely story with great epilogue. This is another home run from Flora Ferrari.
