Sofa King Hard (I still can't get over how long it took me to get that title) is a good set up for a new series. If you enjoyed Rough Stuff (or Madison Faye in general), you should like this one too because there's a skotch of mobbiness in there. But mostly, there's instalove/lust, a massive, dirty talking ex Marine/(wrongfully accused) convict, and a group of side characters ripe for their own HEA's. While it isn't my favorite Madison Faye book, I do like it much more than the Sugar County Boys books so that's a definite win in my book. 3 out of 5 wine glasses.

I loved the steam, the witty banter, the chemistry between the main characters, and the well written dialogue/story. Overall what a deliciously beautiful and fascinating fast paced read that keeps you interested from start to finish. I do hope there will be more stories from the secondary characters introduced here that were the crew at Sofa King .

When you read a Madison Faye,you know you are going to have a few laughs and some hot steamy sexy scene! This is the story of Kane and Jilian. She just got divorced and is moving out of her mansion. He is the owner of the moving company taking care of this move. When she sees him all hot and sweaty, she’s a goner. When he sees her watching him, his 5 years of celibacy are now behind him. The story is short, soooo hot with just enough drama coming from her ex Jim. It is entertaining and fun to read. I voluntarily reviewed an arc.

I was trying to ignore the numerous typos just within the first two chapters but the hero was extra rapey. He's been hired to move her stuff, they've never met. He sees her with her hand in her underwear and straight up barges in her room like it's his right because he's been celibate since prison. Just in case anyone is wondering the proper response to being told "you shouldn't be in here" multiple times is not "then tell me to leave." Especially not when you keep moving towards her as a big ass dude. It's sofaking creepy and I have no patience for that these days. Dnf

Insta-lust turns insta-love, heat and passion; this story has it all! You can always count on this author to deliver a steamy fun story and this is the perfect example. I loved the heat, the dialogue and the plot. This is the story of Kane and Jillian. Jillian is a fun character show is moving. Her mover, the Sofa King, is Kane and he is more than willing to help her out. Kane is a man, just out of prison who has been celibate just as long. That does things to a man of his personality.
I loved Jillian and her ability to know what she wanted, I also liked that she was just as strong and in control as Kane was. Kane was a fun alpha man. I liked his possessiveness and the bold way he got Jillian. The scenes between these two light my kindle on fire; they were so hot. I loved the little cat and mouse game that Jillian played with Kane and I really loved his response to it. I also liked that Kane was a blue color man and not a billionaire. He was realistic and I love that in my characters. I received an ARC an am leaving an honest review.

do i need 2 go read it again ...i honestly thought it must have some comedy in there? right??!! i love Madison's style of writing ...she just makes u have a inst-steam ...hot read ... u know what you are going to get. i mean duh! she just does that. love it always ... but i wouldn't have thought crime? (but maybe due to the hubby's life style or the movers life style??! i guess i can get or see it there??!) trying not to reveal to much ... folks need to get their own opinions and thoughts. i was laughing due to the light size of it. but maybe it is just me? i love Madison and will continue to read her books because it all. love the cover ...but the name ... i guess that is what makes me laugh too. Kane is a good guy through and through, taking the fall for his wayward brother. He and Jillian hit it off with that insta-lust that neither of them could deny. This was a sexy, hot quick read, without the heavy drama between the main characters, but with some twists thrown in to draw you in even deeper! I hope this is a series - Kane's Sofa King buddies need their own story!

This read is short, Hot and exactly what you expect from a Madison Faye book. If you're easily offended, don't read this book. Graphic description of sexual acts happen in this story.
Alpha male Kane, retired Marine, not long out of prison for a crime he didn't commit, owner of a moving company meets Jillian, newly divorced and in need of Kane's moving services. But before long, she needs his personal service too.
There is no long drawn out courtship, it is lust at first site. Kane gives Jillian exactly what she needs and more of what she didn't even know she was missing.
When her ex tries to interfere, Kane steps in. He gets shot for his efforts but eventually wins the girl. Yay! HEA.

Happy surprise that I couldn't put down!
OMG!!! Picked this one literally because the title was so unique and made me laugh. Boy was I pleased,try knocked on my butt surprised! Heads up this us not only a super lava level heat all Alpha male sexy tale but the story and character development had me sliding right into the storyline with them . The scorching sexy scenes will have you panting and unable to put the little gem down and the raw emotion will draw you in and have you laughing one minute, yelling the next and cheering on the next page. I LOVED THIS LITTLE GEM and highly recommend it but you should be 18+.

The scorching sexy scenes will have you panting and unable to put the little gem down and the raw emotion will draw you in and have you laughing one minute, yelling the next and cheering on the next page.
