This was a fun, quick read! It was so exciting, I wish there was more! Now I am definitely looking forward to see what happens in book 2!!

From the introduction page I was hooked with this steamy, fast paced and adventure packed paranormal romance story.
Autumn Delarose is a Witch and a Princess. After a brief encounter with a injured vamp called Darren, she can’t stop thinking about him and looking forward to seeing him again.
However her parents have a “secret” plan, with the vampire heirs competing for Autumn’s hand in marriage. Will the one she had already fallen for be the victor?
I can’t wait to read about Jared and Michelle’s story next, as this book had some l amazing characters.

The cover of this book is beautiful! It made my excitement to read this sky high. However this book FRUSTRATED me, and slightly confused me! Lol Yes even through my frustration I did give this book 4 stars. I liked the concept and a majority of the characters, also Autumn and Darren were a hot couple with amazing chemistry which helped a lot. It's hard to explain my feelings without giving away the book in general, but after you read it (and it's DEFINITELY worth the read!) you will understand more of where I'm coming from.
Darren was a huge reason for my frustration! I felt like he just let everything go. You don't love someone as much as he loved Autumn to just roll over and allow what was happening to happen! I understood where he was coming from as far as having to follow orders but how can you lead a coven if your that weak minded to get walked over like that. My confusion lies with Varek. He's wanted total domination one minute but treated Autumn with the utmost respect. That gave me emotional whiplash and left me extremely confused on who he's supposed to be as a character. Autumn was the strongest character in this story imo!! She wanted to take action, wanted change, she didn't want to roll over and take it! When she finally stood up and accomplished what the men couldnt. Love her! I am looking forward to Jared's book. I'm curious to see who stole his interest and where this world of Vampires and Witches leads to next, and to learn more about Lady Diedra hopefully! I think there's more to her then we think. I'm also hoping for a book on Verak, cause no matter how confusing his character made me his "aura" is hot!

I signed on to read this book without actually knowing what to expect. Which,turns out, was so much fun!
The book is about a witch princess named Autumn. She is being sold to marriage by her parents the King and Queen but on the night of her betrothal a fight occurs. Two sworn enemies, witches and vampires, are thrown into a battle. Autumns’ betrothed is taken out by a vampire named Darren, he himself is hurt in this battle and doesn’t have long to live if left. Autumn finds herself torn by duty and doing what’s right. Autumn quickly finds Darren, she hides him and begins to take care of his wounds and very quickly realises her attraction to Darren.
I found this to be a quick read and it never lost pace. The author cleverly jumps to either character in alternating chapters which keeps it fresh. The characters are well described with enough back story to get a sense of them. The story does tie up well and you aren’t left with asking many questions. The only one that I’m left with is.. what happens next?!
The next book looks like it’ll pick up where this one left off but with two different characters as the mains this time, which makes sense once you read this book.
I was pleasantly surprised hay I enjoyed this book, as it’s not my normal genre at all! As I said though it was a blind pick and I am very happy to have read it!

I had the amazing opportunity to read an ARC of this book, and I can honestly say that I wasn’t disappointed. In this book we follow Autumn, a witch Princess, who is being sold of to the highest bidder by her parents, the King and Queen. After a battle has broken out, and her betrothed is killed by a vampire, the witches’ mortal enemy, Autumn develops feelings for him.
It was a really short read, and I did my best to drag it out - I really wish that there were more pages! The author really craftily added a few time skips to avoid any pacing issues, which avoided any lulls in the story. I honestly could predict one of the twists in the book, which was revealed right at the end.
I really loved the characters - they had enough backstory that you had enough time to get to know them, but also to develop your own thoughts on them as people as they carried out their choices. Autumn really came into her own - she wasn’t a damsel in distress, but took initiative over her own destiny to reshape her world. I am very much anticipating the next book in this series!

Autumn is the FMC and to say her life is complicated is an understatement. Shes a witch princess who's just a tool for her parents power plays instead of being treated like the daughter she is. She defies what she knows she is supposed to do and that's how she ends up meeting Darren, the vampire. Suffice to say theres a lot of complications. Then the competition, the moving, the betrayals. It's all intense. But in the best ways. I cant wait for the second story because this was just incredible. Well done!

This is a non-stop tale of love, passion, peace and betrayal! When war is tearing the sup world into pieces it's up to the leaders to find a peaceful solution. Autumn is very independent and determined. She lives under strict expectations. When she meets Darren two races collide and two lives are forever changed. This is entertaining with both hilarious and heartfelt scenes. This is the first that I've ever read anything penned by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll be sure to add more of her work to my to be read pile. Ms. Middaugh is talented and can write one fierce story!! The book cover is amazing and absolutely gives you the portrait of what awaits you upon the pages 💖💖💖

I liked this book in a lot of ways. The plot was really good. My only criticism is that the setting distinctly had a feel of medieval but everything else was modern. It wasn’t set up for you to understand how a modern group of people had a castle or anything else. It was minor but it drew me out of the story on several occasions.

I am a huge fan of Tristan and Isolde retellings so when I saw that this book was loosely based on it I just had to get my hands on it! I read it in just over four hours and it was amazing! There were so many twists that I wasn't expecting but nevertheless made my romantic heart go pitter patter! I adored everything about this story and I cannot wait for book two to be released! <3 Highly recommend!

First thing I want to say is, whew this book is a definite panty melter. The sex scenes are Red hot and luckily for us readers there are several scenes in this book. Now that I have addressed the hotness of this book I can tell you the story was great too. Once I started reading this book I didn't want to stop. It has a great storyline and the author does a wonderful job of keeping the story entertaining through the whole book. This is the first book I have read from this author and I will definitely be reading many more. If you love a good steamy paranormal romance I highly recommend this book for you.

It’s a perfect story for vampire’s lovers. We have forbidden love, courageous princess, wicked parents, spells and potions, betrayal as well and war. I really liked this story, it wasn’t going in the typical way of things and it’s something I do really appreciate.

I was pleasantly surprised reading this book. I absolutely loved it. It was full of action from start to finish and it was something a little bit different to what I am used to reading. It breathed fresh air into the paranormal genre and I cannot wait to devour the next book and its contents.

Great read
Wow! This is the first book that I have read from this author and it was amazing. Not what I was expecting. This book has it's own uniqueness to it. It's part of a series but the story finishes in this book. I love the two main characters but at times they seemed juvenile but it was a fantastic read all the same.

What a fun read!! i was hooked from the beginning until the very end! Loved me the crazy forbidden romance! 🙋🏽♀️ it so was fast paced in a good way! it was like watching a movie and action at every corner! Some sexy steamy time that had me panting and awesome sense of humor was perfect combination!👌. Can be read as a standalone, mo cliffhangers! The next book will feature a new pair ❤️ cant wait!!

As a huge fan of Tristan and Isolde I couldn’t wait to read this! Unfortunately I was disappointed. It was hard to really believe the characters and their relationship. I couldn’t really connect with either of them. The storyline was trying to follow Tristan and Isolde but it just didn’t work for me. I really really wanted to like it but I just couldn’t. It kept my interest since I kept expecting something exciting or different to happen but I was left unsatisfied in the end.
