Definitely not what I was hoping to read.

This is a very chaotic story. Two widows meet, they have feelings for each other, the male runs like a scared little kid. Enter the surprise third member in this confusing MMF relationship. For a MC that is supposed to meade up of veterans, they sure lack any focus. Add in the stalker for the h, the stalker who apparently is involved in darker things than the MC thought.

Pretty bad that I decided to take a break from reading this book, to go and shovel our sidewalks. I've never read a more lackluster MC. Priest, Ranger, and Claire. Three characters that sound like that would work but sadly, the way they are written, lacks so much. What about Claire's kids and grandkids? They supposedly were to visit after she was kidnapped. There is no mention of them or their visit. Ranger has a college age daughter? No details about her either.

Loved it

I took a chance on this new book and author and I was not disappointed. I have so much I want to say, but don't want to give anything away so I will say this... I was taken on one heck of an emotional roller coaster ride from the very beginning. I couldn't put this book down and I didn't want it to end. It was refreshing to read a story as I live in Maryland and has been to the places named in this book. Shannon you have a new fan. I cannot wait to read Baron's book and see what happens next.

Captivating! This story - wow! The chemistry between Claire, Priest, and Ranger, holy moly! Spectacular storyline with vivid characters. Twist and turns, passionate, sizzling sex scenes, and a cast of bold heroes. Claire, Priest, and Rangers story is well-written and paced. It grabbed me from the get-go. I am hooked on the cast of characters and look forward to reading more about the Iron Back Warriors MC.

Absolutely Sinful!

If you want to start a new MC series, this is the one for you. I’m just floored. This is going to be an amazing series. The characters are swoon worthy and hot! The sex is off the charts. Keep some dry undies available. An amazing new author that everyone is going to love!

This book.....gah, I just absolutely adored this book. It's everything I look for in a book. So much drama, so much of.....just everything. I can't even put into words how much I loved this book.

Claire starts off as a very innocent, very typical woman. As the story continues, and we begin to dig deeper into her character, we see that she isn't what she is first portrayed to be. She is so much more. She is daring, and open minded, and still at times very vulnerable. There are layers to her that aren't seen at first glance, and makes her a very complex character.

Priest is very complex. At the beginning of the story, we see one side of his personality, then through circumstances beyond his control, he morphs into someone very different. This creates a situation that comes back to haunt him later, and almost destroys what they could have.

This book was so full of surprises! I never knew what was coming next, and there were definitely things I never saw coming. Since this is the first book I've read by this author, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm totally in love. I think I may have found a new favorite author. This book is definitely worth reading, and doesn't disappoint!

This fascinating debut novel keeps readers glued to the pages with lots of volcanic passion and adrenaline pumping excitement. The characters are strong, charismatic and leap from the pages as they grab readers’ attentions from the very beginning. The romance is sweet and emotionally charged as Claire falls two smoking hot men and like all relationships it has its ups and downs, it full of emotional strife and the chemistry is smoking hot. The relationship keeps readers in suspense of whether or not these three will be able to make a go of it or not throughout the story and the author ensures that readers want to know every last detail of that relationship by bringing her characters to vivid life with well written words that paint vivid imagery.

The plot has a fast pace and flows smoothly from pages with lots of thrilling suspense, exhilarating danger and surprising twists. Readers are glued to the pages as the events regarding a stalker who has target Claire and events involving the men of the Iron Back Warriors MC play out. The author has created a fascinating world and her MC has a few different elements that make it stand out from others and since all of the MC male are fascinating and super-hot, readers will definitely want more.

Story 4 / 5
Overall: 4 / 5

I just love reading stories with sexy alpha men, and MC romances are one of my favorites places to find them! Blind Love tells the story of Priest (Declan), Ranger (Josh), and Claire and it’s the first book in the Iron Back Warriors (Myrtle Beach Coastal Chapter) MC series.  This book was written by Shannon Heighton Hicks, and it was also Ms. Hick’s debut novel.

Blind Love’s characters are older than most romances that I have read, and it was nice to see. I enjoyed them being older, as I am in my forties. It did take me a little bit to get into the story, as the beginning had a lot of background info. Once I got into the story, I was hooked! The storyline had some twists which had me sitting on the edge of my seat unable to put it down.

I believe some areas were a little uneven when the author didn’t go into full detail and instead glossed over events. I enjoyed the story as well as the characters and just wanted to read more about them.  Overall, a good debut novel and looking forward to reading more from the author.

This is Shannon’s debut book and it is fantastic. This book is a ménage book with danger, romance, and so much more. This is an MC book but they aren’t one percenter. They are former military, military, and first responders. Priest, Ranger, and Claire are the main couple in this book. Priest and Claire are both widowers. Priest is still reeling from the death of his wife 10 years ago. Ranger and Priest know each other but feel complete when with Claire. Claire has recently moved to Myrtle beach and does a lot to help the community. She tutors kids at the library and that is how she gets involved with the club and meets Priest then Ranger. She attracts the attention of the father of one of the kids she tutors. This book is moving and emotional as well as steamy. Priest, Ranger, and Claire are fantastic together. While their relationship isn’t conventional, they would do anything for each other. I can’t say enough about this book. I can’t wait to read the next one. The characters are fantastic and pull you into the story. I will say MC are one of my favorite genres. I look forward to more books by Shannon.

New author to stalk

Oh Shannon. I... I started Blind Love not sure what I was going to get. And I'll be honest, I hadn't read a book for a week up til the release. Maybe I was anticipating this read? Maybe I was nervous to read a new author who's teasers and blurb had pulled me and left me doing something I do MAYBE twice a year, pre-order.
Regardless of the reason for slump, it's bound to be worse now. Now, I've got to wait for book 2.

Without giving everything that makes Blind Love a fantastic read I'll just say that this ticked ALL of the boxes for me.
I'm excited to learn about the plot line and the characters we meet. There are some epic possibilities ahead.
Smart/Strong Female lead
Sexy Bedroom Times
Complicated, sexy, slightly alpha Men
Security
Love
Respect
A fanfreakingtastic plot line thst sucked me in. I swear four or five times I knew where Shannon was taking to story - then BOOM, left turn.

Read it.
Review it.
Recommend it.

Congratulations Shannon on your first but not last book release.

Blind Love. Iron Back Warriors MC

Loved Priest, Ranger and Claire’s story. She’s so lucky to have two very sexy men who love and cherish her. Saving her from her kidnapper, just in time to save her life plays on both their minds but they are strong enough, brave enough to come back from that horror. ❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100% recommend this book ❤️

Two widows, Declan and Claire both move to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for a new start. Declan to join his brother in the Iron Back Warriors MC and Claire to just start afresh in a new town. When Claire ends up becoming a friend to club, Declan, now going by Priest, is instantly smitten but his guilt about his dead wife has him messing it all up and he takes off. J/"Ranger" has transferred to the Myrtle Beach chapter and after meeting Claire, the two seem to have a connection. Once Ranger realises that Claire also has a connection with Priest, he is both worried and happy; worried that Claire will never forgive his brother, but happy because he too has that same connection with Priest... and he wants them both.

Well I have to say, for a debut book I thought this was really quite well written. Yes there may have been the odd part where it was tiny bit jerky like most new authors seem to do, but overall I was impressed. The story part was good, the bedroom action was steamy (love the MMF) and there was enough "other stuff" to give a good introduction to the MC itself. I think for me personally it could have done with a bit more "on screen" action though. A lot of the deeds were done behind the scenes so to speak, and we learnt about them after the fact, but then I like the darker stuff so want to see the blood and gore lol but that's just me. A good first book and I see a lot of potential in Shannon Heighton Hicks. I give Blind Love 4 stars.

Blind Love was definitely had an original twist on a MC story, especially with it being about older characters, on top of it being m/m/f. Our heroine was named Claire Stewart, who had moved to Myrtle Beach, SC after being widowed for a new start. She ends up becoming involved with the Iron Back Warriors MC after tutoring some of the kids, and then becoming in danger herself. Priest hasn't been himself after losing his wife, and it's Claire who starts to pull him out. But there's also Ranger who makes him feel alive again. When he runs from what Claire makes him feel, Ranger steps in to pick up the pieces, hoping to heal her in order to make them all work in the future. Yeah, it sounds kind of confusing, and for a while it was a bit choppy, but it was the talented Shannon Heighton Hicks' debut novel, so I'm positive in the future, things will smooth out. The sexy times definitely tried to set the sheets on fire at different times, but since there was a ton of angst, there wasn't as much as I would have liked between the 3. It was the twists though that had my heart pounding, as they were coming from everywhere, which had me dropping f-bombs like a biker myself. It all led to a crazy finale, or what I thought was the finale, but no, there's more, setting the stage for future books. So yeah, I CANNOT WAIT for the next book in this series, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

There is a lot of hurt and grief in this book that seeps off the characters and off the page. Both Claire and Priest have lost the love of their lives in very cruel ways. Whilst Claire has been working through her grief, Priest has buried it and run from it. When Claire and Priest become close through Priest's nephew, it appears that he is ready to move on but memories strike and send him on the run from Claire. In the meantime she meets Ranger, a man as attractive as Priest and has the same pull as him. Ranger and Priest are brothers in the MC and have explored more outside of the MC. Could these three possibly have a future together?

In amongst the angst of Priest's grief and the trials and tribulations of their feelings for each other, there is Club business that needs to be resolved - a chapter that has gone rogue and against their principles - and a stalker who wants Claire for himself and will stop at nothing to get her.

This book packed a punch, in a very good way. The chemistry between all three of these characters made it exciting and jump off the page; the tension from all the different elements was palpable and kept me hooked; and the author managed to blend the various elements together brilliantly so it all seemed so natural and so that one part of the story didn't overpower the rest.

3.5 ✨

I started out really unsure of this book because of the flashback style beginning. Really not a fan of flashback info dumps. However, once I moved past that, this really intriguing MMF menage storyline comes out. I really like Claire. I love having a FMC who is mature and very real. Priest and Ranger have a delightful chemistry with each other and with Claire. This book has some sizzle to it! At times, the transitions were a little hard to follow but overall, this is a very sweet and sexy MC Club story about starting over and finding love in unexpected places. Would recommend!

I love MC and I love MMF so I was beyond excited to discover this book. Unfortunately the author's writing skills are of a 10 year old and I cannot continue. Oh, this is so so bad, I can't take it anymore! I give up at 38%.

Bizarre style of writing, jumping from first to third person, evident lack of any research, chaotic, no fluidity in scenes, really lame sex scenes, spelling, grammar and stylistic mistakes ... the list is so long I cannot be bothered typing it all out.
I am however completely baffled by so many positive reviews, I mean how? Is that the only book you read in your life?! So odd!

DNF'd at 27%.

The premise sounded okay from the synopsis, but I failed to connect with either of the main characters, and the prologues were kind of annoying. The MMC's attitude wasn't attractive to me at all, and the FMC wasn't assertive enough for me. This could have improved as the book progressed, I only made it 27% after all, but the book really failed to grab me in the time I gave it.

I'll pass on this author in the future.

Love is love

I absolutely loved this book. I am so excited to have found a new author and to have found a new MC series.
This one has it all. Love! Trials and pain! And a beautiful love triad. MMF, told in the most beautiful way. I am extremely jealous of Claire! I mean she found a MC that quickly claimed her as a friend, then she meets not one but two incredibly hot men. I loved watching their love story unfold. I can not wait to continue this series!!

New author to me and I enjoyed it. Menage, older character romance, which I liked. Romance isn't just for teens and twenties. There were a few points where it glossed over events and also at points, I was getting annoyed by the main characters hence the star deductions but it was still a good story and I would recommend it. Looking forward to reading more of the series.

Wow

This was a really good read. I liked the characters, I liked the way the story was constructed. The one thing I found lacking was that Claire's family though mentioned never made an appearance.

Great start!

Overall, I really liked the story and the characters. I think there was a little too much going on at one time, though. Made it a little awkward and confusing at times. I’m looking forward to reading more and seeing how the plot develops.

MMF romance. Not sure why the title. The first half is fairly boring. Second half gets better but plot holes exist, and resolution was not found.

The series has potential, but not sure if I will venture forward.
