I read it as a preparation for my research and it provided exactly what I needed: summary of papers, research findings related to humor arranged into topic areas. The book is written in a clear, concise and accessible way so very little expert knowledge is needed to enjoy it.

رغم ان هذا الكتاب من أكثر الكتب التي اخذت وقت طويل كي انتهي منه، الا انه من ضمن الكتب المهمة والتي غيرت نظرتي لبعض الامور في حياتي الشخصية.

الكتاب به معلومات ضخمة عن الفكاهة وتأثيرها على الفرد وصحته النفسية وعلى المجتمع ككل، وفهم طبيعة كل مجتمع من خلال طريقة تناوله للفكاهة، وكيف يستخدمها الشعوب للتعبير عن غضبهم او اعتراضهم عن بعض الامور في بعض الاحيان، وكذلك استخدام الفكاهة في حياتنا اليومية، وكيفية تفسير الدماغ للفكاهة، وكيفية انتاجها.

بعد ان انتهيت من قراءة الكتاب، قررت ان اجعل الفكاهة جزء من حياتي اليومية وهو ضمن احد الاستفادات من قراءة هذا الكتاب.

هذا الكتاب ليس من ضمن الكتب الي يسهل قراءتها للمبتدئين، حيث يعتبر الكتاب علمي اكثر منه روائي او ادبي.

كتاب علم نفس الفكاهة يتكون من ١٠ فصول، كل فصل يتناول الفكاهة من منظور مختلف، وبشكل تفصيلي، وكل فصل يتضمن امثلة عملية وملخص في نهاية كل فصل.
تم تقديمه ضمن سلسلة عالم المعرفة وترجمة معتز سيد عبدالله
ترجمة ممتازةولكن يعيبها في بعض الاوقات انها ترجمة حرفية وقد لا تستطيع فهم المقصود منها، برغم اجتهاد المترجم في كثير من الامور بتوضيح المقصود من بعض المصطلحات، ولكن بشكل عام ترجمة ممتازة.

قمت بتقييمه ب ٣ نجوم رغم اعجابي بالكتاب وذلك لبعض النواقص في الترجمة، وكذلك انني شعرت في بعض الاحيان بالتطويل الغير مبرر في محتوى الكتاب.

ولكني بالتأكيد سأعود اليه في المستقبل ومراجعته مرة أخرى.
