Lorelei Moone is an author of paranormal romance based in London. A lover of all things sweet and caffeinated, when she's not writing about sexy bear shifters and their strong-willed curvaceous love interests, Lorelei can be found baking cookies or cakes for her family.

She got her start writing bear shifters in the well received Scottish Werebear series (2015-2016), and its spin-off, Alpha Squad (2016-2017). To binge-read these today, make sure to buy the boxed set collections. Additionally, she's written of vampires in her Vampires of London series (2016-2017), and has just begun her foray into paranormal fantasy romance with the Shifters of Black Isle series (2018-2019).

Predictability with some twist and a few good turns . . .all in a quick package . . .

This was a quick read that I have been waiting on since Alpha Squad Friends or Foes. I could feel that there was something more there. I just was not sure what it was. Thomas had me from the first book in this series. I found him to be enthusiastic and easy going. Private Callahan was a rule follower, smart, and tough. She could assess a person pretty well. I found them to have a simple connection. I found that they worked well together. When the question of loyalties came in to play I was a bit on the fence. I was not sure which way Thomas would go. I was pretty confident in Private Callahan. Enjoyable read and good addition to the series.

Out of all the books in this series that I have listened to, this one seemed to go by the fastest. It certainly makes my day more enjoyable when the office is too quiet because it's just me. It's also nice have this to listen to on my commute to and from work - and when I get caught in a traffic jam.

Ms. Lusk has come to grow on me. I had a hard time picturing her as the female lead but then it got better when I thought of her as someone who was just reading me a story. And now I couldn't picture anyone else reading this series. I've missed one of the books and I'm looking forward to her reading me that one as well.

I can picture myself taking my Audible library with me and going to London and just finding a nice comfortable spot and listen to the series again. I can also see myself listening to the series and walking the streets. The only thing I wouldn't do is go on a tour while listening to Ms. Moone's series. A guided tour would be too much of a distraction and would take away from my enjoyment. The ending though left me feeling that this series isn't over yet. The next book is not an audiobook as yet - please, please, please! I love the audio version of this series. It has me wanting to go and read the actual book when I have a chance.

Lordy Lordy Lordy was what I was thinking while I was listening to this story. This is the third story in the series and it keeps getting better and better. I really loved this one because Thomas is the man. I loved how he was torn between his Alpha and his true soul mate. He is caught up in a web with his pack and he has to decide whether or not he is going to follow his pack or follow his heart.

Thomas's pack leader asks him to spy on the team and tell him everything that is going on. At first Thomas does this but he soon feels like he should be loyal to the team and his mate. There is a string of crimes going on and Thomas and the team must figure out who is committing these crimes. This is hard for him because he is not sure who to trust and who to believe.

Jill is watching Thomas because he is acting weird and she wants to know what is going on with him. As she delves deeper into what Thomas is doing she learns that she has feelings for him and more than a friendship but she can't act upon those feelings until she finds out what is really going on with Thomas.

Who will Thomas choose? Will he and Jill become mates? This one was such a rollercoaster ride I was sitting in my chair gripping it because I needed to know what was going to happen next.

In this third book of the series, we get to follow the wolf shifter, Blackwood. What do we find out about him? What do we learn about his family? What is his job? We also find ourselves learning more about Jill Callahan, Private and aide to Janine Williams, Major. What has Callahan so exhausted? What is keeping her from getting sleep? I really like Blackwood's enthusiasm. What is a Wolf Shifter to do after talking to his Alpha and getting commands that go against what he knows is right? Does the Alpha feel like this will let the Shifters go back to anonymity? Does he not realize they're out and that is all there is to it, like it or not? What is going on with the Alpha? How does it affect the team? What happens with Jill when they are out on stakeout? Will things ever be figured out? After Jill sends Blackwood away, what happens? You're going to have to read to see what is going on.

Thomas Blackwell is the only wolf in Alpha Squad . His Alpha from home sent him to work with them ,but Thomas has to report to him every case they go on. This has been OK until this new case. What could be the reason for these latest orders ?
Private Jill Callahan is human and her job is the logistical side of the cases the squad works. Lately she has been having a lot of sleepless nights thinking of a member of the squad.
Our hero is used to following orders and when he gets conflicting ones he only has his own conscience to answer to.
An exciting and emotional story. I'm addicted to this series because of the story lines. Much better than the books where "shifter meets girl, falls into bed, happy ever after".
I have read all of the previous books You could enjoy it on it's own but it's better to have read at least the first in the series to know exactly what Alpha Squad is all about.
I look forward to the next book in the series.

Wow just wow. I am hooked on this series. It is extremely
well-written. And it was such a delight to read. Not just a
romance, but a suspense story with a paranormal twist.

This book is about Thomas the wolf and Jill. Thomas is torn
between two leaders. He is torn between his alpha and the
leader of Alpha squad. He knows what his Alpha has asked
for him goes against everything the squad is supposed to be
doing. But as he is pulled closer to Jill he is unsure what it is
he feels for her and not sure what she feels for him. But
when it comes down to it all he has to choose. Leave alpha
squad and his mate and follow his Alphas order. Or give it all
up for his squad and Jill. Let’s hope he makes the right choice.


Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you

This book in the Alpha Squad series gives us the true mate romance of the only wolf shifter on the Squad, and it's an amazing story. This author really pays attention to the details when creating the world that her characters inhabit. Wolves are not just another kind of shifter, they're very different than the bear shifters and those differences make for an intriguing story in the series. Thomas and Jill share a true mate psychic connection that is beautifully expressed, and the way they learn to work together as mates is very well done. I am just enthralled with the environment created in these stories, and the simplicity and depth of the love these true mates share is breathtaking. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is book three in the series, it is a steady progression set about six months after the last story, the characters are the same with introduction of a few new interesting people. It is a fun and interesting book, the plot is well thought out and the characters are sweet and enjoyable, if you have read the previous book in this series then I am sure you will enjoy this one just as much.
This book took me about 3.5 hours to read, so its a nice length if you have a quiet evening and fancy an enjoyable easy read, with hot shifters and intelligent females.

This was a good book. It was well written. Jill was a behind the scenes person for the Alpha Squad. She was totally committed to her job. Thomas joined Alpha Squad to help with the now open shifter population under the direction of his alpha. He always follows his alphas command, then his squad. Jill was just find until she met Thomas and he became the only thing on her mind. Thomas didn't know what the pull to this beautiful woman , Jill. How can they pursue this relationship being on the same squad? How can Thomas for orders for his alpha and squad? If you like paranormal then you will like this. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book.

I highly recommend reading the first 2 books in this series before you read this one, it will give you the background on the team.

This book focuses more on Thomas and Jill (Blackwood and Private Callahan) than on the rest of the squad, but that really works for this story. I liked seeing Thomas struggling with his divided loyalties, between his Alpha and his new team. The "romance" really depends pretty heavily on the mate bond, but since that is one of the points in this series it works. The pacing was good, it made for a quick read.

This is book three and wow.
We get Thomas Blackwood who is in a bad position. He must do what his Alpha has ordered however he is now with a team who he respects and values so what can he do?

Enter teammate Jill Callahan at first she blows him off now she is scoping him out why?

Some wolves are causing trouble, and it's up to Alpha Team to end it but will it end in more than arrests?

Tons of suspense and action in this one. Can't wait to see where this series goes next.

About a 4.5 rating of a low key action-packed mission, shifter drama and a budding romance that may not be as new as the MCs think. The story was enjoyable, a little fast in some areas, but overall satisfying. Thomas' struggles were cool, and Jill was a lot more funny than I imagined after seeing her in the last two installments. I really like the world Moone has made and I hope to see more of that in the next installment.

Thomas has to make a decision, does he follow the orders of his Alpha or his heart? This contemplation takes place at the most inconvenient time...when faced with his mate. Jill has loved Thomas from afar. Well, not loved...lusted after. She finds out he feels the same way, but she also finds out other things at the same time. She tells him to go. He does, as his squad finds him gone the next morning. Will he come back? Will he sabotage the mission? In a short read, you can find all the answers, but I'm not giving them to you here.

Thomas Blackwood , a hot shifter in the Alpha Squad but he is there under a false reason, his Alpha wants things stopped.

Jill Callahan is a private in the military she is the picture of professional military , but she is drawn to Thomas, and she can't have that.


I have read all the books this author has written about this Squad so far and have loved them all
