i read this box set as part of an arc program. This was a good set of books that have a BDSM theme.

Choice of Cages- this was a good story about a thief and the prosecutor who doesn't want to see him go to jail. Thorne was born rich and thinks being a master thief is more about the act of stealing and being the best than about the money. Thorne knows Lane, the prosecutor has feelings for him and will keep him out of trouble. When Thorne is arrested again for stealing a painting, he is facing jail because of an assault on a police officer while he was being arrested. Lane tells him he can't help him this time and leaves Thorne in jail overnight. The next day, Lane offers Thorne the chance to take part in an unorthodox secret program. Thorne agrees, and is taken away to the secret facility and given a safe word to use if he wants out. Lane uses this time to break Thorne and rehabilitate him through kink. I really enjoyed this book and I thought Lane was really trying to do the right thing for Thorne, even when it was the hard thing to do. I thought Thorne really was looking for someone to "save him" from himself.

Club- this story about Nick, a young, rich man who is about to graduate from college. He writes a thesis paper about a fight club rumored to be in the area and it is rejected, but he is given 2 weeks to rewrite it. When he sets out to do research on the club, he encounters Brayden a music professor who is rumored to belong to the club. Brayden decides to take Nick to the club, but it nothing like he expects and he will have to challenge himself if he can actually proceed. Brayden brings Nick to a secret BDSM club and wants to be his Dom and Nick to submit. Even though Nick has always fantasied about this, facing it and doing it may be harder. I liked this story, I liked Brayden. He knew what Nick needed and wanted Nick to figured it out for himself. Nick had a lot of soul searching to do and he has to sort out his feelings for Brayden. I thought the men were a great couple and had great chemistry. This was a really good book about a man who sets out to find out who he really is and where he will belong now after changes in his life.
