Tatum ruled a region larger than any alpha. He was firm, but fair and battled anyone who challenged his authority or threatened his pack. Love, to him was just a foreign concept, nothing of importance. When physical and emotional pain presented itself, he did everything in his power to fight it. He refused to except the old wives' tale about a wolf's hunger. Finding his true mate was never part of his plans, until he met Bristol... She was strong, fearless, beautiful and everything he could want in a mate. As powerful as Tatum was, he was equally weak, when it came to Bristol. Tatum never thought anyone could tame his heart, much less his body and soul. Bristol proved to be the only power strong enough to bring him to his knees, time and time again. He vowed to make her his she-wolf and promised to shed the blood of anyone who tried to take her from him. Bristol on the run from her pack and Rex, the one responsible for the death of her parents, never thought her flight would bring her to a region where the legendary Alpha Tatum resided, or a place better than home. Tatum was the alpha of her dreams and she knew he was her soul mate. She was a believer of the ancient ways, and grew up with stories of a wolf's hunger. Bristol knew the pain that gripped her soul, was nothing more than the prophecy of the gamma of her pack. But Bristol's past would soon catch up to her, forcing her from the man she loved more than life itself and the pack she'd adopted as her own. Rex, sly, ruthless, and vindictive wanted everything Tatum possessed, including Bristol... He killed her parents to make her his own, he was willing to do the same to Tatum... Will Tatum keep his promise, even if means his death? Will Bristol takes her revenge out on Rex before Tatum takes his? Will Rex finally get what he desires most?

Tatum; hot, sexy, larger than am other wolf shifter ( in either form) and alpha of the strongest pack around. He is feared my almost all. Bristol: tough, strong, and the best female fighter around, is the daughter of the might Alpha Midas. She was raised to be the mighty female alpha to her alpha mate. When Alpha Midas is killed, Bristol is told to run, she has to get away from the cheating, dangerous, deadly alpha that forced himself on her pack and is trying to force Bristol to mate him. When she runs and the Hunger strikes she knows what it is. When Tatum’s hunger hits he thinks he is going crazy. But then they feel each other, hear each other and now it’s a fight to stay together and stay alive.
Tatum is an Alpha with a large region who ruled in a firm but fair manner. He thinks that love is nonsense and doesn't have time for any of that and thinks that the wolf's hunger is an old wives tale. When he gets physical and emotional pain he does everything he can to ignore it. Bristol is the daughter of an Alpha who was recently murdered by Rex (who has also just killed her mother) one of the pack members who is determined to take over as Alpha and claim her as his mate. She is on the run when she meets Tatum who she recognises has her soulmate and Tatum suddenly finds that maybe the wolf's hunger is real after all - he can't get enough of her and is suddenly determined to make her his. Can he keep her safe from Rex or will he get her and kill Tatum into the bargain?
This is a great addition to the Wolf's Hunger collection The story had lots of danger and drama with the story between Tatum and Bristol. It was well written and I could feel and empathise will all the thoughts and emotions the characters in the story. I liked the descriptions of the settings and activities in the stories and it added to the feeling that I was watching the story in pictures or video. I've not read anything by this author but I enjoyed this and will look for other stories by her.
After reading this, I understand authors' concerns about diluting and damaging their brand by allowing others to write in their world. This book was horribly written. There are, or course, some things in this trope of books that don't really have to be explained - we all know what an alpha is, and what that represents. But this book went beyond the normal trope and didn't give us any clear explanation of how the world worked. How can an acknowledged omega become alpha? What made Rex an omega? Why would an omega challenging the pack beta then make him alpha? What is an eta, or an epsilon? This book was full of Greek letters as designations in the pack structure but had very little explanation on what any of it meant.
Then, on top of that confusion, what was up with Bristol? She was introduced as having been raised to be, basically, the next alpha; or an incredibly capable alpha mate. But we immediately see her cowering to Rex, as if her being an alpha meant nothing compared to him being male. Then, when she ran away, she wasn't out of her own pack lands, but had no recognition of where she was. If she was expected to be the next alpha/alpha-mate of the Rolling Hills Pack, shouldn't she have known the last of the land? Shouldn't she have known the expected traditions and expectations of an alpha meeting?
And what was up with all of the "men talking men business" while the women cleared the table?! This happened multiple times in the book, and each time, Bristol was literally sent off with the little women while the men discussed the serious matters. It was offensive how it was written - very demeaning to the women, and it was ridiculous that Bristol accepted it without a second thought.
I spent this book being irritated, annoyed, and confused. The characters weren't true to their descriptions. There were several instances where I had to re-read passages to understand what the author meant, and ultimately, the worldbuilding was non-existent.
This is Tatum and Bristol's story . WOW ! S. Raven Storm has a new fan ! This is the first book I have read by this author but it will not be the last !! The action starts right from the beginning and never stops ! When the Hunger hits Bristol is on the run and for Tatum when his Hunger hits he has no clue what is going on ! Just have to love Alpha's that are so confused lol !! The drama twists and turns that happen in this story will hold onto you until the very end . Now on this part all I will say is Bristol's mother ( I am sure those who read the book will understand ! ) . I can say in all honesty that Tatum is now on my favorite list and will be read again ! It is that good ! Gamma Tate and Gamma Rhone wow just wow . This book is very well written and I strongly recommend this one to EVERYONE !! Thank you S. Raven Storm for writing such an amazing book !
Tatum is a very imposing Alpha, his strength comes across well without him having to really do anything to enforce it but when he does, wow. I like also that Bristol is not a nervous she-wolf that needs looking after and protecting, she’s a confident and very capable female with strong Alpha traits and a perfect match for Tatum. This book brings some additional ranks to the pack that you don’t see in most wolf shifter stories adding an interesting element to the story. I have not been disappointed in any of the Wolfs Hunger books so far, I guess the tag line is correct. A Wolfs Hunger ... it cant be stopped!
This book just didn’t do it for me. Bristol seemed like an idiot and any time she described her features that hinted at her being a woman of color it was always in the negative. “Her hair matted” like she was a dog or something just because she got it wet. I don’t know if the author is a woman of color or not but hats just extremely offensive. There was zero chemistry and the whole thing was just choppy. Everything felt rushed. Won’t be reading anything else from this author.

REVIEW We get two yes that is right TWO Alpha's in this story. It's a wickedly good story. We have one pack fighting to stay afloat with a hideous new Alpha who has decided that Bristol will be his. Well she is having none of it and runs off and then she is hit with pains unlike anything she has ever felt.
Tatum the biggest Alpha around is having pains and not his healer nor anyone aside from his oldest pack member knows what is up but he doesn't believe the old man.
When Bristol and Tatum meet it's hot, sexy and totally Alpha on both their parts and then the action begins.
I enjoyed this story. It fits truly well in the series of books and is a stand alone.
The basis of the story was beautiful and followed in Ava's hunger world perfect. I love when two Alphas get the hunger and one doesn't seem to understand what is going on even when they are informed by their elders.
This story has the perfect blend of love, action, and drama. A few places get you a little confused by the wording and you have to re read to understand, but it falls in place.
You'll fall in love with Tatum! He's everything you'd want in an Alpha and more. He's Alpha of a pack that's far more advanced than many others. The only thing missing in his life is a mate.
Bristol is a strong woman who's running for her life. Her father was killed and she fears her mother was, too, at the hands of the new pack alpha who is ready to mate her. But he's not her mate.
When the Hunger strikes, you have to follow your feet! Bristol's parents have been murdered. The new alpha only earned the position through trickery. She has to get away, she can't be his mate. Tatum is Alpha of the Blackstone pack. He is ill and needs to find the cure. He finds it one day whilst fighting off rogues... Lots of action, hot scenes and twists to keep you entertained. Enjoy.
This is my first book by S. Raven Storm. I am glad that I read it. I discovered Ms. Storm from the Red Hatter's Book Hangout on Facebook. The characters are very likeable. I like that Briatol is strong from the beginning, that she was able to be Tatum's partner and not a burden. I will definitely read more books by Ms. Storm
A great book I could not put down! The story line is full of suspense, discovery and sexual chemistry. The characters are strong, determined individuals and they have wonderful interactions throughout. Another terrific read from a truly talented author. Don't miss this one!
I enjoyed this book. I was surprised by how many twists this book has. It kept me wanting to read what was going to happen. I thought Bristol and Scotty would end up together. I like the writing style of S. Raven Storm and can't wait to read more from her.
Bristol has to find her way after a family tragedy. I love how the author shows the character growth of Bristol before and while she met her mate. There is also so many interesting characters in this book and how they contribute to an overall great work!!
What a marvolous storyline. Everything wolves pack with protocols, way of life, murder, a love story and a HEA. Well written and the characters awesome.
I sat down & couldn't get up till I finished this book. Tatum & Bristol are amazing. There were so many things happening but everything came together so well. I loved it.
Wow! This my was my first story by this author and I'm hooked! This is a great story of a larger than life Alpha finding his Alpha mate. Look forward to reading more by this author.
