The keys to happiness are very simple; live in your truth, accomplish all dreams, and spend your life with someone who is your equal. Smoke thought he had achieved happiness until his new girl’s demons began to surface. With the truth coming around every corner, Smoke has no choice but to confront the troubles ahead while trying to maintain his happiness.
Thinking she had everything figured out, Patience moved to Atlanta ready to live life to the fullest. The move not only helped her discover who she truly was, but it also gave her a confidence that made her feel invincible. Out of the blue comes Smoke, who changes everything she once knew about life.
Unlike Patience, Summer is struggling to figure things out in Atlanta. She moved to help her best friend feel comfortable but ended up making herself uncomfortable. With a new city comes new love in the form of Smoke’s best friend, Cario. Wanting to give love a try, she spreads her wings, hoping to find what she thought she’d never have.

Another Great Read
Picked up right where the last installment left off. Full of drama and more drama. I couldn't put it down. Enjoying how Patience and Smoke relationship is blossoming. Their love will be worth everything in the end. I can't wait for Carmen jealousy behind to get what's coming to her. Serenity is so stupid in love with Dreyfus. Erectus, deserves everything that Smoke does to him and I can't wait. Really liking Summer and Cairo together...both crazy. After that ending I can't wait to see how it all unfolds. Highly recommend this book. Job well done Myia White.

This ending...
Book one was EVERYTHING. This book is good but I feel like the storyline is being dragged out and some of it makes absolutely no sense. Smoke having a full conversation with Carmen whole she’s snorting cocaine, with her daughter that’s not his, upstairs sleep, after her trying to kill him. Patience sister Serenity had a whole baby by Drefyus, yet Patience doesn’t know. Smoke is supposedly the King of the city but Carmen’s mom and Drefyus got him by the nu#s!! Summer treating Cario like she doing him a favor, yet he keeps running behind her. Draining....

Dreyfus is a complete piece of crap and truly has some pyschotic issues, he and carmen deserve to die painfully. Patience please be ok... Cannot wait for Smoke to come for patience... And for Carmens mother to GET HERS for being simple minded, EVIL and manipulating...
