Josh is out and proud at his private prep school. The only problem with that is there’s no one who’s boyfriend material. He spends his weekends volunteering at the hospital, and one particular weekend, something happens that will change his life forever… He finds a gorgeous boy lying in a hospital bed who can’t seem to stay awake without him.
Through friends, family, and graduation, how will Cory and Josh handle needing each other, when they don’t even know each other. With their lives turned upside down, they learn to navigate the Connection they share.
Will they receive the support they need, in light of their unique circumstances? Will all their friendships survive? Or will their new relationship prove too much for some to handle?

Whitney Cannon is an up and coming author with a love for gay romance novels. Over the years, her love for reading LGBT fiction and romance turned into a desire to write her own stories and characters, and she has developed a passion for writing books in the Young Adult genre. She feels that there is a need for more representation and visibility in the teen and young adult categories for LGBT fiction and hopes to provide anyone willing to read her work with a sweet story and a happy ending.
Many young people in the LGBT community find themselves looking for an outlet or a source for others who are like them, who share a commonality with them, either real or fictitious, and Whitney hopes to be able to create characters who are likable and relatable to young readers. It’s one of her goals to give those who either can’t come out or aren’t ready to come out, something to read that will shine a more positive light on whatever situation they may find themselves in.
Every person deserves a happy ending, even if that person is only in the pages of a book.
Qué chorrada de trama!!!! Y todos son tan buenos, y comprensivos y dulces y guapos..... Obviamente no es una lectura realista pero podía haberlo hecho menos empalago. Obviamente desisto al 25%
Typically I don’t read books that are not in first person, I made an exception for this one. And I am so glad that I did. The story line was so different from anything that I have read. The idea of being connected to someone like Cory and Josh were to each other reminded me of how it felt to be in love the first time. The longing to be with that person, never wanting to part and reconnecting as soon as we saw each other. All love comes with challenges and this sweet love story has their own challenges that they must face and over come. Over all this is probably one of my favorite books now. I am so glad I took a chance to read Whitney’s work.
Connectivity is by far one of the sweetest romances I have ever read. Josh and Cory find each other in the most unlikeliest way, and just when they need each other most. I enjoy the authors creativity in creating this new type of soulmate. If you want something sweet with just a tiny bit of angst, this is the perfect read or you. I totally recommend readers picking this book up.
I enjoyed the concept of finding your catalyst and complement. But it was a bit repetitive when talking about this and Josh always saying ‘My Complement ‘ was a little too much. The book was really sweet and it flowed well. Not a bad read if you want a really sweet story!
This is a wonderful story that doesn't follow the usual tropes out there. Yes, it is YA but adults can and will enjoy it so don't limit yourself. Cory and Josh are wonderful together and very accepting of each other. I love Cory's attitude and his humor. The prom scene was incredible. Be warned though: you will need tissues at times. You will definitely enjoy this book and I can't wait for more from this author.
This story just isn't for me. I loved the idea of how this story would play out from the synopsis, but the prose doesn't work for me. It's too generic, and there is too much information that bogs down the action. It reads like someone just starting out with fan fiction.
Final notes: - The characters are in high school - The parents are super supportive [no homophobia] - They are soul mates in a world where that isn't the norm - Told in third person pov
This is a really sweet book... Like make your teeth fall out sweet. Corey and Josh have this connection; it was blessed by God himself. I would have really enjoyed reading something like this as a YA before I became so cynical. Haha. The writing is solid and flowed well. I enjoyed it greatly.
Oh wow... I hardly have words to describe how wonderful and amazing this book was. I could hardly put it down. The love and connection between the men MCs was apparent from the beginning. I was sad to see it end but glad that they got their happily ever after. ^.^
Totally new take on the true mate trope. Sweet, low heat story with coming of age boys who find their special Connection. Totally worth reading. Looking forward to the next book, which I'm off to read now.
The concept is great but the writing is just meh. I read coming together by the same author and really liked it so not sure if this was a first book but it was rough.
