All In: Breaking Barriers to Discerning the Priesthood

Rate this book
Many are called – but how do you really know if you’re chosen? This book speaks to the most common objections raised by young men considering the priesthood. I can’t be celibate. My family and friends are unsupportive. I just need to take more time to discern. I am unsure. Marriage is better. I’m not worthy. This book looks at every difficulty – and overcomes them all, so men can simplify their discernment and take active steps to discern God’s will in their lives.

I walked into this book with eyes wide open, expecting little due to unknown said authors. But I could not have been further from the truth! Time and again Isacco hits the nail on the head while crushing defining what is masculine theology, philosophy, economics and poetry. My eyes widened and my heart sung on page 94 when Isacco wrote, "Two kinds of people in the world. Two dogs, one bone." Pretty much sums up the world we live in today eh?!?
