Take a deep dive into deep learning Deep learning provides the means for discerning patterns in the data that drive online business and social media outlets. Deep Learning for Dummies gives you the information you need to take the mystery out of the topic―and all of the underlying technologies associated with it. In no time, you’ll make sense of those increasingly confusing algorithms, and find a simple and safe environment to experiment with deep learning. The book develops a sense of precisely what deep learning can do at a high level and then provides examples of the major deep learning application types. This book is perfect for those who want to better understand the basis of the underlying technologies that we use each and every day.
A bit too much babbling about history and too little useful theory. The authors displayed great talent for pretending that they explained a concept (which they didn't) and build an entire chapter on nothing. Is it for dummies or what? A twenty minute video on yt was more helpful.
I thought this book was ok. Primarily focused on neural networks, convolutional networks (CNN) and recurrent networks (RNN). They had code in Python and had a section on the applications of DL and must have DL tools. DL was used for image classification, language processing, and generating music and visual art.
The content did a fine job explaining this inherently complicated topic. The examples, though, left much to be desired. Plus, there was a ton of errata in this edition.
If you're looking to master the cutting-edge technology of deep learning, then this is the book for you!
Mueller does an incredible job of breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand terms, making it accessible to anyone.
As someone in the IT field, I found this book to be invaluable in staying ahead of the curve. Mueller's writing style is engaging, and the book is packed with practical advice and real-world examples.
Overall, I highly recommend "Deep Learning For Dummies" to anyone interested in unlocking the full potential of deep learning.
Even though I have some understanding of AI, this book is quite difficult to understand and uses plenty of technical language and. This book is definitely not "for Dummies".
Still was able to get some understanding of Deep Learning and how it can be used.
A good knowledge of Python is required to understand the programming tasks in the book.
