when two tattered souls find themselves in each other
Maggie was left for dead in a desert by her step father, but was saved by an older man Jen and his son. Now years later she’s living and thriving on his farm in a small town. Finally living in peace knowing her stepfather is locked up in prison.
Dillion has lost everything as the result of a fire that took his wife and daughter. Now 10 years later he’s starting over a new life, leaving the 9-5 to work as a ranch hand in a small ranch town.
What he doesn’t expect is for his heart to start to open up for the girl is the apartment next to him on the ranch. But the timid girl has a haunting past. When life seems good for them, Maggie’s past is flying back at them with a vengeance. Can they stay safe & figure out their hearts’ new love…

Great story Tracy! Two stubborn people trying to get past their own bad histories. A nice love story and some suspense too. Great book!

A satisfying emotional ride.
This book will take you on a journey through tragedy to loving recovery and hope as Maggie and Dillion’s story takes a hold of your heart from the start. I highly recommend this book and expect you to enjoy it just as much as I did.

Maggie had a terrible, horrific childhood/teenage life. She was taken in by an amazing man Jeb. He's like a father to Maggie and Maggie loves him just as much.
Dillon shows up to town to escape the tragedy he's been through and falls for the small town life and Maggie. Will their tragedies be enough to mend them and heal them together or will their tragedies consume them to the point of no return??
Such an amazing first read by Tracy Kincaid!
