I only picked up this book while visiting VT to support a local writer. I figured at least it would be fun to read a story based on a lake and town that I’ve become familiar with and love. I was pleasantly surprised at just how much I loved this book. The story is an easy read but very well written (i.e., doesn’t insult my intelligence). It also kept me always wanting to turn the page to read what happens next, and I loved that it had more to it than just the mystery part.

This book had me hooked after the first chapter & kept me guessing throughout the book! It was semi set in a place near my hometown so that made it even more interesting! Can’t wait for more books by this author!
