I’m trapped in a mountain cabin with a man.
Did I say man? I meant men; four of them to be exact.

My big brother’s best friends in the world, and my biggest fantasy come true.
In the Army, they were a true band of brothers, but when my brother died, they gave that loyalty to me.
I’m going to need every bit of it to get through this blizzard and the mess I’ve made of my life.
When they show up at a deserted mountain resort to save me from my abusive ex, sparks fly.
They are there to comfort me, to protect me, to shield me.
And to beat the sh** out of anyone who would lay a finger on me again.
When my crazy ex kidnaps me and threatens my life, my guys will walk through fire to save me,
And the fire that ignites in my body when they do, will threaten to consume all of us.

Because once I’ve had all of them, one man would never be enough.

Was ok.... coulda,been better.....

I’m some one who loves, wants and needs all the p.o.v’s of my MC’s ,especially in a ménage or RH but I didn’t enjoy how this one was done at all....
This was a fairly simple story...younger sister of a returned vet, who took his life and his buddies who loved him like a brother, who stay behind to b there for his sister and his parents....
Of course little sister has a thing for them but is dating a abusive d bag,not knowing some of them have a thing for her as well... and of course vice versa...

Ok, personally I wasn’t blessed w/any siblings in my adopted home soo maybe that’s why but I don’t get this whole “best brother/sister soo we can’t touch them.” Trope

Seriously what’s wrong with dating your best friends brother or sister ? I mean if their good enough to be your bestie then what aren’t they good enough for you sibling ? I mean unless you don’t like your sibling ? Or lol 😂 too many other reasons, my mind can come up with but I really shouldn’t go into but as a general rule, especially as a book trope I just don’t get it...
I mean if I were a guy and I was dying who better to love my only little sister then men I trusted with my life and loved as a good friend/brother ?
And while that might have been an ok argument for one against this RH relationship,it like everything else was kinda lost in the almost disjointed manner this was told in...
Like I said I’m all for multiple p.o.v’s but usually their layered with the heroine being the main voice, usually started with her and her thoughts and wants and desires laying the foundation and direction for the story and then the H or H’s in a case like this chime in w/their p.o.v’s to add to the framework of the story and help give their feelings and thoughts and add to the direction and climate and if done right give the story more richness and complexity...
Here though, we start off with the guys getting their perspective and input before we even get to the h and have a clue what’s going on with her.... and then when we do she’s continually woven in and but mostly out, leaving us to wonder too much about what everyone involved what or where the story is really going...
But honestly as confusing as the way the p.o.v’s and voices in this story were what really got me the most was lack of cohesiveness to the story.. one minute Elle is kissing of of the guys or later having sex with two of them and the next having a yelling match with her ex , all the while not one good chat or heart to heart is going on...
I was dying for her to sit down with all the guys and where not only did Elle tell them and us what all had been going with her d bag ex and how he was treating her but also what she wanted out of life...instead what we got was a mishmash of yelling and threats and fights and a snowstorm and sex and a minor kidnapping and car accident and even a pregnancy scare thrown in for good measure ,with not once does our heroine sit w/the men she supposedly loves to discuss her hopes and plans and dreams for a future with them ,no it’s left til the very end in this mess or a book where they all decide to give it a go during the car ride home, after about two m a y b e three days together and then proceed to have sex all together taking turns w/her in her bed ...
The End
HFN
The idea behind it, a guys best buddies, a band of brothers type, banding together to take care of sister and folks and all falling for his sister and vice versa I can get behind...
But this was just a shallow mess I wanted to like but there just wasn’t enough in this confusing mess to to hang on to or enjoy or understand at times...
Thanks but no...

This was just kind of weird for me. The guys head up to a cabin to check in on their dead best friend's sister, who had called her parents the night before because her boyfriend was scaring her. When they show up, though, she's super blasé about the whole thing. They end up even all staying in the same cabin together...weird. But apparently, Elise broke up with the guy right before the calvary arrives, so it's fine??? Anyway, the ex gets drunk and says a bunch of rude things to her, so they all end up going to a different cabin. And then the majority of the book is her worrying that she might be carrying her ex's baby, and her ex getting drunk and trying to talk to her because he wants her back or something...and her always speaking to him instead of just telling him to f-off and moving on.

There is absolutely no time in this book to develop one relationship, let alone four like the author was trying to do. All of the guys end up feeling like the same character. I honestly couldn't remember whose perspective each chapter was supposed to be in because they all felt the same. So much time is spent on the ex stuff, and it honestly ends up going into the ridiculous category by the end. The dude kidnaps her, but they're not going to tell the police as long as he doesn't tell anyone they beat the crap out of him. Yeah, ok, that seems safe. 🙄

And it never felt to me like the guys actually wanted in this relationship anyway. Elise just comes off super selfish, and the guys seem kind of forced into doing what she wants.

The writing is also really long-winded. So many things that don't need to be rehashed or explained in depth take up a lot of the page count...pages that could have been spent actually developing these relationships....

Meh, lots of better reverse harems out there. This was just boring and disappointing.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Elise, a young woman who lost her brother to suicide after he returned from the service. He was a ranger and his fellow rangers now looked after Elise and her parents. Elise loved all of the guys in their own way and they all loved her. When Elise called her mother from a mountain cabin she went to with her boyfriend, she was upset and wanted to come home. Her mother told the guys and they all set out to the mountains in a snow storm to make sure she was alright. Trevor, Nolan, Chase and Sean wanted to protect Elise and would do anything for her. When they got to the cabin, it was obvious things were not okay. Elise had told them her phone was broken and she and her boyfriend Brad had a fight. They told her they would take her home as soon as the storm stopped, but they were stuck for the night. Trevor and Elise had an encounter a few months before, but Trevor stopped before things got too far. Now there was tension between them and everyone noticed. With the men stuck in a cabin with Elise, things begin to heat up and the next day, they are still stuck, but Brad tells them to leave. They just go to another cabin to wait out the storm. While there, Elise realizes things could get complicated with her ex, but the guys stand by her. Soon Elise wants to give into her feelings for them all. I liked this book and thought they all really loved each other. I think Elise had to decide how to be happy and live her life for herself and not worry about what anyone thought. Good one.

HELLO SEXY. Ms. Black has written gold right here. The Cabin is centered around Elise, Trevor, Chase, Sean and Nolan. Elise has been in love with her late Brother's best friends for as long as she can remember but as Aaron's little Sister, she has always been off limits to these four Ex-Army Rangers. Or is she? Do dreams count? I promise you that you'll be as enraptured as myself with this impressive read. Ms. Black has proven yet again to be a superior Author while providing us with a realistic storyline as well as characters that will melt your heart with their powerful love and devotion to each other. I found myself sitting with my Kindle in my hand, completely engrossed from the very beginning of the book through to the last page of this wonderfully crafted book. Elise is currently stranded up in the mountains during a blizzard, with her now (abusive) Ex, Brad, not to worry though, her real men are on the way to her rescue. If you have a fondness for gorgeous, kind-hearted, sexy men that will defend and stand up for the woman of their dreams because she's worth it.... Then I implore you to devour The Cabin.

I voluntarily requested an advanced reader's copy of The Cabin in exchange for my honest opinion and I highly recommend reading this compelling romance that will show you just how talented Ms. Black truly is.

I totally loved this book. It had a little bit of everything. This book is about feelings don't get me wrong there are some very hot chapters but what I really like is you get to know each of the character's feeling hopes and dreams. I felt that I really got to know them all. Even Brad who is a complete waste of space, didn't like him at all! Elise is away for a romantic break with her boyfriend Brad but when they have an argument, Elise rings her parents crying only for Brad to grab the phone and break it. So when her parent try ringing her back, they get no reply. They start to worry and turn to their sons, Aarons best friends to help. Aaron had taken his own life after losing his leg whilst serving his country and couldnt come to terms with the loss. His army ranger brothers Nolan, Trevor,Sean and Chase still mourn their best friend and will do anything for the family. They all have feeling for Elle but don't show it as they want to respect Aaron and they don't want to break up the friendship's they have with one another. But when they hear about Elise they all drop everything to get to her.
This is a fantastic read.
I vountary read an ARC and now im choosing to leave my honest review.

Ok.

I loved the blurb. The idea behind the book really had me wanting to read this book. I found the first 50% was spent repeating how wonderful each person was and how they were amazing Rangers. When each character was finished bragging about their awesomeness, Elsie or is it Elle, (I was getting confused over the constant name change) began the same spiel each of the guys had. This had me skipping pages. By the time Elsie was 'kidnapped' and the amazing Rangers, who were trapped in a cabin due to snow) jumped in their van and drove off, I was done with the book. Instead of filling the book with repetition, the author should have used the space to allow her writing to reflect the love and bond between H and H's. She told us they were Rangers rather than the story and their actions reflect that. The same goes for the relationship between everyone.
This doesn't mean others shouldn't be put off. I'd suggest any fan or reader to make their own mind up. It also wouldn't put me off trying another book by Natasha L. Black.

This is a beautiful reverse harem story about Elise and her four protectors, Chase, Trevor, Sean and Nolan. The guys made a promise to their fellow Army Ranger brother, Aaron they would keep an eye on Elise and keep her safe! Aaron ends up not being able to deal with losing his leg and ends his life. Things get a bit uncomfortable between Trevor and Elle and in trying to hide her hurt she ends up dating Brad who is abit older and wealthy. Things go south while they are in the mountains during a fierce snow storm and the guys go to ensure she is safe. The guys help Elle from the danger but when Brad goes off the deep end he ends up becoming someone Elle never saw. Elle and the guys spend some intimate time together and Elle tries to come to terms with loving each of them and being together as a group. This is a very tame reverse harem story. INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!!!
Oh man, this is one fantastic story with a strong plot and oh so steamy scenes. One action packed, fast paced, hard hitting, nailbiting, pulse racing, heart pounding, thrilling, page turning tale that hooks you from the start. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few bumps here and there make for one remarkable experience. You get a plethora of emotions to sort through as sizzling chemistry heats up the deep connection between them. The drama, jealousy, fear and psycho ex's bring the suspense and danger boiling as tension spirals. The characters are so realistic and believable it feels like you can just reach out and touch them. The chemistry and bond grows stronger as the story unfolds. The scenes are incredibly detailed and graphic it really pulls this magnificent read together beautifully. Natasha did a magnificent job bringing this read to life. Fantastic job Natasha, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

This was a well written book. Elise has been in love with her late brother's best friends Trevor, Sean, Nolan and Chase forever. When she calls her parents upset about her boyfriend and they can't reach her back, the guys take it upon themselves to check on her. They promised her brother and her parents they would always look out for Elise and keep her safe. That also means keeping their feelings for her under wraps. Once they get up the mountain, they know they can't return back until the next day due to a snowstorm. The storm is still going on the next day so they aren't leaving any time. Elise takes keys to another cabin and they end up staying there. Not only do all five of them have to deal with Elise's abusive, alcoholic ex, they need to deal with the feelings they have for each other. Read how they deal with the ex and the high sexual tension. This was a great rh and I recommend reading it.

When Elise gets into some trouble with her now ex boyfriend her brother's friend step in to help her. They made a promise to him that they would be there for his family in the event he died. Chase, Nolan, Trevor and Sean have taken their duties seriously braving a bad snowstorm to rescue Elise. After multiple confrontations with Elise's ex the guys finally get steamy with Elise. However her ex isn't big on losing and keeps trying to get Elsie back which ends them in an accident. When they get to the real world will their new relationship continue to work for the five of them? Will Elise's ex leave her alone?

This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between the characters just about melted my kindle. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Trevor, Nolan, Sean and Chase made a promise to Aaron that they would watch over his family when he was gone. Keeping there promise to their dead friend they find them selves driving in a snowstorm in the Appalachian mountains to rescue Aaron's little sister Elise who is stuck in the mountains with her abusive ex boyfriend.
They decide to stay in one of the cabins on the ex boyfriends property as its too dangerous to drive back home. Emotions are high and thats when feelings start coming out. Elise has loved all four of her brothers friends and finds out that they all love her too.
Will they find a way for their relationship to work or will the four ex Rangers walk away from what could be a steamy romance due to loyalty to their fallen brother?

Elise has a horrible boyfriend and after calling her parents in tears, she stops answering her phone. He's taken her to a remote cabin for a getaway and her parents ask Elise's deceased brother's friends to go find her. They do, then things start heating up. This isn't four men who are used to sharing a woman. Instead, they've all come to love Elise individually and she loves all four of them.

With her mean now ex-boyfriend harassing her, can the four friends protect her and can they figure out how a relationship can work with all of them? The story flowed well, for the most part, with a few typos and flaws. (Did they call her parents to let them know she was safe?) Overall, it was an enjoyable read.

The book is sexy in that Elise's deepest desires and wishes are met with her deceased brother's four best friends who are beyond hot. Their storyline keeps you turning the pages to see how this fantasy becomes a reality or as much of a reality you can get because the story doesn't go beyond a couple of isolated days. Unfortunately, for me, I really didn't really care for the characters. I don't want to give too much away but, the characters are really a selfish bunch of people, except for Chase (which makes him my favorite) and I have a difficult time with fully enjoying a book I can't get behind the personalities and integrity of it's characters.

Great read!

I loved how each character was fully fleshed out witb their own thoughts and feelings. It was really well done. This book was so much better than her first. You can really see her storytelling skills developing and becoming better. Much less tell in this one (I couldn't even finish her first book cause the tell, tell, tell was driving me nuts). But I'm a sucker for stranded tropes and gave this one a shot. So glad I did!

Just one kind, gentle suggestion to the author... please get a proofreader or editor. Needless errors and typos in the book. More than average I would say, and ones even a good word processor could have vaught.

Still, a very good read. I'll keep reading this new author :)

Elle has been secretly in love with her deceased brothers military for a few years. She doesn't think her brother would approve of her dating one much less all 4 of them. The boys all know she is hands off because she is one of their brother's little sister. But what happens when they are all trapped in a mountain cabin during a snowstorm?

I was a little confused when reading from one of the guys point of view. I just didn't feel like I knew them well enough to realize who it was talking. If I stopped reading during a chapter I had to go back to the beginning to see who POV.

I liked the characters and loved how protective all the men are of Elle. They promised to look out for their brothers family and took that promise very seriously. This was a sexy little read.

Protecting Elle.....

Elise's lost her brother, Jason, looks for comfort in on of his best friends. But he ends it before overstepping the brother's wish in keeping Elle taken care of that she turns to date a man that later hurts her enough to male her feel unsafe enough to reach out to her parents then be unreachable. Parents who in turn tells the 4 men, Jason's Ranger unit and best friends, for help check in on Elle. In the end they find her and help her leave safely as possible through the snowstorm that ends with all of them in a HEA. I give this book 4 cups, ☕☕☕☕, of hot java. Good story, Wall written. Only thing I didn't care for was the repetitive mantra from each guys' minds of the promise to their bestfriend in taking care of Elle, that she was off-limits.

Brother's best friends.
breaking up with ex- boyfriend
secluded in a cabin in the middle of a snowstorm.

I enjoyed the solo sweet moments she had with each of them, when she was so unsure and confused, how the comfort was done, the small amount of pining and the very very very slight angst around the 5 last chapters.

I always seem to have two favourites when I read reverse harem, in this one I found Chase and Nolan super well done as sweet, comforting men who want to take care of you.

Trevor was a hot head and so impulsive and Sean was absolutely sweet as well and had solid moments with her, it just wasn't build up very much or like I wanted it.

The smut was light but pretty good.

Good read

Elise is a woman who's torn between honoring her brother Aaron's memory or the feelings she feels for his best friends Nolan, Sean, Trevor and Chase were all army rangers with Aaron. Aaron's death brought them all closer. And now Elise is in a bad relationship trying to forget her feelings for the guys. They guys won't let that stand. What Will happen when the guys get to her location and are stuck in a snow storm? What Will happen when they all realize that they guys and Elise all share the same kind of feelings? Who will get a HEA?

Great read

I enjoyed this book a great deal. It had suspense, grit and was mentally demanding. The guys are asked to check on Elise by her parents, so they all trek to the mountains to find her. When they do, they find that Elle was ready to kick her boyfriend to the curb because he was abusive. They leave Brad and move to another cabin to wait out the storm. Elle is torn about her feelings for the guys and goes outside to think. This gives Brad a chance to grab her and try to make a getaway. The guys follow and rescue her. They work out their differences and live happily ever after.

Short, sweet, and hot, hot, hot!!!

Wow! I wasn’t sure going into this book whether I would like it. It’s not my normal style, but I was pleasantly surprised. This books was short and sweet, but still had a fabulous story that ends with a HEA and no cliffhanger. While the intimate scenes were on fire and scorching hot, it was nice to see the guys as down to earth and sweet to Elise. They all loved her and would protect her with their lives. This could definitely be considered a taboo romance, but I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a short sweet romance with an incredible amount of heat!

Wow! 4 hot Army Rangers and one best friend's little sister in trouble makes for one super hot story! Elle reaches out when her newly ex-boyfriend becomes abusive and kidnaps her to his mountain cabin. Enter the overprotective Rangers, who all secretly are in love with her. Elle has always loved them all but never thought she could do anything about it. While trying to keep Elle away from her ex, they soon let their guards down and things heat up! There is just enough suspense, back story, and passion that make this a fabulous love story!

Sweet twist, but needs proofreading

This book offers a sweet twist on the "friend's little sister" and reverse harem tropes in that the four heroes are alpha males without being overbearing, womanizing jerks. Nice change of pace. Elise is no sniveling doormat, which I also found refreshing. Books in this sub-genre tend to be poorly written further worsened by a lack of editing. The quality of writing in this book was pretty decent, but suffered from malapropisms, typos, and missing words sprinkled throughout. Competent proofreading would help.

A fast paced, action packed book that is exploding with so much jealousy, romance and sexual chemistry. When you have an ex that won't leave you alone, who is abusive and just scares you what do you do? When there are four men who will give their life for you because they were your brother's best friend, would you depend on them?? What about if they not only want to give you their support but their bodies? Get ready to go on this roller coaster of a ride that will keep your attention from front to back. Enjoy

The Cabin is the first book I've read by Natasha Black. OMG!!! I absolutely loved this book. If this is an example of her writing, I will be reading everything she writes or has written. Her characters are well written and the story is HOT.

I could not put this book down. I found this to be one of the steamiest books I've read. I have to admit though, I'm jealous. I can't find one great guy and Elise (Elle) has 4!!! If only I could be 20 again and change my choices..

I loved the book and I have a new favorite author

Love

I loved the story with these amazing characters and you got all their thoughts from worry love sadness and lust which was refreshing until the end. I feel like I’m missing something there was no excerpt I want to know how her family felt about them if they have kids how their love develops more it had so much potential to be perfect. But I still recommend this book you rarely get everyone’s deep feelings not just surface ones. #Sexy not a lot just toward the end of the book I would have liked more. The bond they have is great too. #Bookaholic

There were aspects of this novella that I really liked. The male leads were all very interesting, and I loved how close they were. The female lead was also decent, but I liked the guys pov more. The main issue I had with the story is that it felt like the story kept repeating itself where her ex boyfriend was concerned. Every interaction was very similar, and I felt like 1 or 2 of them could have easily been taken out so that there could be more relationship growth. But overall the story was ok, and it makes a nice little refresher between longer books.

They promised her brother that they would take care of her, and she could really use their help about now. Elise has an abusive ex. When Nolan, Trevor, Sean, and Chase came to the spa they noticed the bruises and refused to leave until they spoke to Elise. Elise is conflicted she has feelings for all four men, and it is evident that they feel the same. When her ex-kid-knapped her they waste no time going to her rescue. Will they get to her in time before her ex cause bodily harm? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
