As I work to plan worthwhile professional learning experiences for my colleagues I am always looking for ways to make them as effective as possible. Saw author Marisa Ramirez Stukey speak a few weeks ago and needed to get my hands on this book. I appreciate how useful (and realistic) the steps for planning PD that connects back to student learning. I'll keep this one handy as I plan to support teachers in the future.

Really nice tight handbook for organizing professional learning. Touches on adult leaning theory, effective professional learning, protocols, evaluating PL, and includes a handful of protocols in the appendix.

Should be mandatory if you provide any sort of professional learning to teachers. Quick and informative. I'll be rereading it at some point.
