Catching Her Wolf

Rate this book
Not everyone is Sanctuary is living their fated happily ever after. Not yet anyway

Devon Stone joined the Marines at eighteen leaving behind his pack and too young mate to fulfill his dream. Once his service to his country was up, he fully intended to return to Sanctuary and claim Janelle. Now, it’s too late. Broken both inside and out, he’s no longer the boy she remembers. She wouldn’t want this new version of him. Angry. Jaded. Scarred.

Janelle “Janie” Harper has a reputation for being a flirt. Many assume she followed up her words with actions. They were wrong. Her heart has and always would belong to one wolf. She’s waited years for Devon to return home and claim her as he promised. Only that didn’t happen. Instead, he’s hidden himself away on his cousin Koda’s land and avoided her at all costs. She should move on, but how does one give up on the other half of their soul?

Devon and Janie have kept the fact that they are mates hidden from their families for years. When their connection is discovered, the Shifters of Sanctuary plot to bring the fated couple together by any means necessary.

If you love your happily ever afters with a side of sass and sexy times, you've come to the right place. My name is Kasey and I am a multi-genre romance author. I write under two pen names KASEY BELLE and K.A. BELLE. (K.A. has her own profile.)

As KASEY BELLE, I write heterosexual, menage, and LGBTQ+ romances (including paranormal, contemporary, military, and erotic).

As K.A. BELLE, I write exclusively gay male romance (including everything from contemporary to paranormal).

I created different names to help readers quickly find the stories that interest them without needing to search through genres that don't tickle their fancy. Regardless of your genre preferences, whether you choose Kasey or K.A., there is only one thing you need to know: My books are filled with soulmates, unconditional love, acceptance, family (both blood and chosen), humor, all the feels, and always end happily ever after.

Catching Her Wolf delivers an engaging, sexy romance… and some of the best “smack the hero upside the head” moments I’ve ever read. Yes, I said ever. You know you’ve thought about it, you know you’ve mentally done it… that hero that is just so stubborn, so self-sacrificing of his own self (read afraid to face the truth) that he walks away from the love of his life… for her own good. Yeah. Him. That guy that deserves a good old Gibbs (from NCIS) smack upside the back of the head moment. Well, folks, this time our dream revenge has come true for although Devon had his reasons, and they weren’t really good ones, he falls into that stubborn hero pattern… and his mate, his family, his friends, his town gives him exactly what he deserves until he comes to his senses. And it was perfect.

The cover description gives you the basics of what you need to know to pick up this fun, sexy and enjoyable Shifter Romance. From there you should discover this plot on your own. I absolutely loved Janie and Dev’s journey – and I’m pretty sure you will, too. I had a blast with Catching Her Wolf, check it out for yourself.

Catching her wolf is book five in the shifters of sanctuary series. This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. The writing style is easy to follow, the characters are loveable and the storyline entertaining.
My heart ached for both Janie and Devon. Both for different reasons. Devon because of what he went through and the feelings of not being good enough for his mate that he had. Janie, because she loved Devon with all of her heart but he had pushed her away. All she wanted was the man she loved but he didn’t seem to want her anymore.
I loved the fact that we got Devon’s wolf’s point of view. I liked that he was the one that decided enough was enough and made Devon stop running from Janie.
I liked that the kids got involved in the plan on getting Devon to go after his mate. I liked that Matt was the one that stepped up to help. He didn’t care that it could end badly; he liked causing mischief and wanted to help. I hope Matt gets a story because I want more of him.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is a nice read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

A Heartwarming Story

Wolf shifter, Devon was not only wounded by a bomb in Afghanistan, he felt betrayed by friends who turned out to be the bombers. Between his PTSD and physical scars, Devon doesn't feel worthy enough to claim his mate, Janelle. Can the residents at the Sanctuary help him heal enough that Devon and Janey can finally complete their claiming and have their well earned HEA?

This is a heartwarming story about healing and letting go of the painful past. All the characters at the Sanctuary play an important role in this process. I love this series (although some extra proofreading would improve my reading experience) and look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Devon and Janie knew they were meant for each other before Devon left to service, but refused to claim her. Devon would come home on leave, but then he stopped.

Devon felt he looked less of a man and the fire t h.g at scared his body told him he wasnt desirable, but luckily Koda told him what can be good if you let your guard down.

Janie wanted Devon as much as she wanted him. Then when you add the women and Matty to the devious plan there is bound to be excitement . Could their plan eork?

A must read.

In war it is hard to figure out who is friend and who is foe. Being betrayed hurts, add being hurt in battle on top of being wounded in battle on top of that, unbearable. PTSD is a terrible disorder that many veterans coming home from serving are suffering from. I wish they all had a place like Sanctuary and people like Koda and Storm to help them heal.

Dev didn’t make his situation any easier by keeping Janie away. I love how Matt and the ladies wake conspire to wake Dev up. A mate isn’t to be denied. They are to be loved. To help heal the soul.

I love Sanctuary!

Lovely..........

This book is bittersweet for me because I know there is only one more left in the series!!!! Devon and Janie's story really pulled at my heartstrings because they both already knew they were 2 halves of a whole, but they weren't together. I am not saying anything more so as not to spoil it for anyone! I will say that it is another great addition to this series and I recommend you read this, and all books in it. Mature eyes only due to hot shifter loving🔥, and graphic depictions of war time activities!

Devon has tried to ignore his mate for so many years. He thought he was doing the right thing but it has brought them both so much pain.

I felt so bad for Janie who has been abandoned and so alone without her other half. She really is nicer to him than I would have been considering all the pain.

I loved how their friends became part of the plan to make Devon take action.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

Jennie and Devon

Another amazing read with heartbreaking stories as we follow Devon to Sanctuary and come face to face with the girl he left behind, his mate. We see him struggle with the decision of not approaching her and let her free to move on. The problem? Jennie wasn't able to move on even after he cut all communications with her. Likely she has allies that will help her get her wolf back. Highly recommend

Sanctuary is at it again! Devon has left his mate to go fight. Something isn't right. He can't put his finger on it even his wolf can tell something is off.
Life in Sanctuary didn't stop when Devon left, nope it kept right ongoing. Now he's back home where he does NOT want to be. But where he NEEDS to be.

Love can set you free!

Devon had seriously been injured by a bomb explosion. He returned home a broken man. His mate is a woman called Janie. Devon loved Janie but he felt that Janie deserved a better man, not a man who had scars, etc. Janie and Devon*s friends get together and devise a way to make Devon jealous and wake up to what he as in front of him. Then things get exciting ! Finally Devon confronts Janie and everything falls into place!

This is my favorite book so far of this series. Loved the plan that Devon's family came up to get him to put aside his insecurities and go after his mate, Janie. There were many moments in this story that had me laughing out loud. Enjoyed seeing the growth of Koda, the family dynamics, and the bonding of the women with Janie.

I really enjoyed this one, the series is so much fun. A second chance romance for this young couple who are not teens anymore. He's carrying wounds both emotional and physical and doesn't feel good enough for a relationship. I loved that his family and friends got involved to push them together.
If you love a good paranormal romance then this one is for you.

Shifters of Sanctuary

This series is so fun, I love the feelings of family and fellowship that grows with each book. Devon is another wolf shifter. He is previous military and injured during his service. He is part of Dakodas family. Janelle is Devon's mate. She is also his ex-girlfriend from before he enlisted. A quick second chance romance.

Sanctuary has worked it’s magic again!
Jani and Devon are two lost souls meant to be one. Devon and his wolf have retreated into themselves to avoid the pain of their memories and injuries, Jani is left floundering when Devon completely backed away from her. With the help of the family in the Sanctuary pack, Devon lets go of the past and claims his mate. Jani and Devon reconnect to form a bond that will be everlasting, the love they share making them healthy and whole. Another mated pair has added strength to the healing love and family of the Sanctuary pack. Only fate knows who will be next.

Catching Her Wolf by Kasey Belle 5 Stars

I loved Catching Her Wolf by Kasey Belle. I loved the characters and the only part I hated was like all books it had to end. The best part is Kasey Belle gives you little windows to check in with the characters in her next book.

Loved Dev and Janie

Janie and Dev have know they are mates since high school. Dev wanted to follow in Koda's footsteps and joined the Marines, wanting to be a MP. He didn't claim Janie asking her to wait for him and keep secret that they are mates. Janie has kept their secret and her promise. Over the years in the service, Dev pulled away, from his family and finally Janie.
Janie has been in limbo. Dev is back and has broken his promise. Heart broken, she gets help from Nikki, who brings in the rest of the sanctuary women, and come up with a plan. The kids and the men lend a hand. Matt agrees to put his life on the line to being his cousin back to his mate.
Fun, funny fast paced and steamy. Loved Dev and Janie's story.
