The sixth book of The Enigma series is full of action, adventure and mystery that any reader would love to follow. The authors touched on diverse subjects as they created their very abled characters. This book is attention-grabbing from the start. The narrator did a pretty good job as he went about the events in the book. His ability to change his tone and accent when reading the conversations of the various characters was a perfect way of keeping the reader engrossed. I love how the story started simple but developed to be exciting with a lot of activities and actions from the characters.
It is not common for a villain to be loved in most stories. Dr Xavier Pekoni was, however, a different villain, unlike in most stories. The man was obviously wicked, cruel and not to be trusted. Pekoni’s major objective was to extend human life by ten times. An uncanny goal, considering he wanted to change the evolution of people using subjects who were reluctant to be part of his evil project. Dr Pekoni was a genius, though. The good doctor was skilled and witty, which made him achieve a lot in his projects. For a long time, Dr. Pekoni managed to evade the R Group. I love that he got to be a headache for the team as his strategies made me love him more.
The themes incorporated in this book include technology, massive thefts, power, cyber wars, love, and teamwork. I was rooting for Zara in every move she made up until she stole five million euros in diamonds. See, Sara was another significant character; she knew that she had the power to blind men with her beauty and so she used that to her advantage. Her engagements in New York made the plot thrilling. Buzz, Petra and Jacob were the other characters that made the book a good read. It was a pity that Petra and Jacob had issues which prevented them from being a part of the team that was looking for Dr Pekoni. Buzz’s 360-degree turn was commendable. Through him, the authors showed us that it is possible to try life afresh after being involved in a wild life.
‘The Enigma Always’ will have you love technothrillers and mystery books. Every scene in the book had a stimulating piece. The events were thrilling and exciting. Following the R-Group as they tried to turn everything around while looking for the major villain was my highlight in the book. The twists, turns, drama, adventure, tragedies and plot formation in the book are worth your time. The authors wrote a brilliant book that is exciting to read at all times. I recommend this book to any reader who wants to have a fun and thrilling reading experience.

This astounding read us a complex and exciting tale of love and mystery. The Enigma Always is the 6th book in the Enigma series by authors Charles V. Breakfield and Roxanne E. Burkey. In this book, we follow several characters caught up in several schemes. Such as evil scientist Dr. Xavier Pekoni, agency members Petra and Jacob, and femme fetal Zara. Their lives weave in and out of each other’s lives in interesting ways throughout the story. The story itself is hard to describe without giving anything away, but murder, eternal youth, and loves affairs are all wrapped up in this thrilling story. The story throws you straight into the drama, catching you up on where each of the characters is at the beginning of the story. The action starts immediately, and I was quickly enthralled. It is hard for me to pick out my favorite things about this book because there is a lot going on, but I found myself very drawn to both Petra and Jacob and their connection to one another. All of the characters in this book wonderfully written. Each of them has a lot of history, goals, personality, talent, as well as significant growth throughout the story that makes them all unique and enjoyable to follow through the book. Emotions run high in this story, and the authors do a great job of making you care deeply on each of their personal journeys. I was also very impressed with these authors abilities to have so many moving parts in a story that all come together. I was worried at first that with so many characters and storylines to follow that I would get lost or find sections/characters that I didn’t care about, but instead, I found myself mesmerized and often surprised by the twists that occurred, pulling everything together. The adventure is fast-paced and always full of excitement as the secrets, mysteries, and twists keep you on your toes. I really loved the balance in this book between action and romance, and loved all of the travel, technology, espionage, and mystery. The book is a wonderful and thrilling read from beginning to end and an excellent continuation of this series. I look forward to seeing what happens to this fun and exciting cast of characters next. I would highly recommend this book to those interested in thrilling adventures. I would definitely give this book five stars!

The Enigma Chronicles is an exciting, action packed, fun series of novels that follows the adventures-and misadventures of the noble, capable and very human R team. The award winning authors, Charles V Breakfield and Roxanne E Burkey bring a continuation to the saga of favorite heroes and all new conflict with the 6th book in the series "The Enigma Always."

The authors waste no time setting up a complex tale of stolen diamonds, cloning, computer hacking, betrayal and deceit. Using snappy, if not predictive dialogue, the drama sets off at a brisk pace and picks up where the major characters left off. With sharp style and interconnecting story-lines, Breakfield and Burkey bring the R team up against Dr. Xavier Pekoni; a deeply passionate, yet unscrupulous genius whose goal of making human a reality supersedes all moral boundaries. That is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. The deeply disturbed doctor has so much more chaos coming our heroes way!

Dealing with demons of the past and coping with personal problems leave our brave members of the R team scattered and fractured and questioning their abilities to defeat the deeply villainous Dr. Pekoni. The quandary of human cloning is hardly a new concept, yet The Enigma Always still manages to deliver an intriguing and compelling take with an informative approach.

The twists and turns of this story mesh nicely with the human element of the books strong and interesting characters.
Buzz, Petra, Mercedes, Julie and Quip are characters one would expect to find on an action movie or show. For sure, the people are fairly defined in their roles and don't break out of the box too much. The good guys are very good and charming, the bad guys are devious and ruthless, the sex is always good, etc., but the unfolding of the plot is well thought out and streamlined.

The Enigma Always brings about an action filled ride that hooks the reader until the end and looking forward to what happens next to Jacob, EZ and the other members of the heroic R team.
