Somnium

For what seems to him to be forever, he's been the personification of human fears. Every day is the same; he paints their fears according to the things that scare them the most deep down, all while remaining unseen by the humans whose fears he brings. He's known only as Fear, although he once had another name.

Piper is a girl drowning in her own anxieties. Fear thought he'd left behind the human part of himself a long time ago; he's told himself never to get involved with humans. But, for some reason, Fear chooses to save Piper.
