২০১৬ সালের শীতে ৩ মাস কাটিয়েছেন প্যারিসের সরবন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে অতিথি অধ্যাপক পদে। পড়ানোর পাশাপাশি, নিজের দেখা আর বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে আলোচনার সাহায্যে প্যারিস তথা ফ্রান্সের সমাজ ও সংস্কৃতি বুঝতে চেয়েছেন এবং তা নিয়ে নিয়মিত সাপ্তাহিক কলমে লিখেছেন প্যারিস থেকে। কলামগুলি একত্রিত করে সাজিয়ে দেওয়া হলো দুই মলাটের মধ্যে।
