Read for my grad school craft seminar, but had also been on my to-read list for quite awhile.

So, like any book comprised of essays, some were more relevant than others. The ones I liked I really liked, the ones I didn't seemed endless. I'm glad I'm done with this now, and hopefully the reading load for this class will be significantly lighter with this out of the way.

I dipped in and out of this book, choosing the parts which resonated most i.e. textile crafts. The essay about the quilts of Gee's Bend was excellent.
