Four Shifter Royal Guards cursed and sent to Earth as punishment.
A collection of four stories of about a group of shape shifting Royal Guards sent to Earth as punishment.
Ruki
Ruki has been thrown off his planet for a failure and is worried about finding a mate to calm his inner wolf among the humans. Using his experience as a Royal Guard he gets a job as a guard at a small museum and meets Jade Director of Long Jun Museum.
Hunter
Hunter is thrown on to Earth on Colorado but doesn’t feel at home there then he sees a picture of the blue ocean and longs to be there. He sells his jewellery and his weapons and uses the huge amount of money to get a cabin on the beach in Hawaii. He and his dragon wants to explore the ocean and hires a boat take takes him diving but it also comes with someone to steer – Celia.
Parson
Beth was on a hiking vacation trying to forget the betrayal of her best friend seducing her boyfriend when she gets bored with following the hiking trail and branches off it. She walks for a while finds a beautiful spot overlooking a cliff but then her foot go in a hole and strains her ankle. Looking around she sees a large shape in the woods. Frightened she hobble and runs until she come to a home then passes out. When she comes to she is being cared for by Alien bear shifter Parson.
Christophe
Vinnie is working as the secretary of a mysterious artist who she has never seen then one day staying late to finish something she is in his office when she hears footsteps and hides behind the desk. In comes a man and a woman who start making out so she tries to crawl out but finds clothes piled in the way then she makes a slight noise. The couple stop and the woman departs and Vinnie finds herself facing tiger shifter Christophe her employer.

This is a wonderful boxed set of four books from the very talented J S Striker a must buy if you are a fan of her and a great introduction to her style if she is new to you
This is the story of four royal guardsman alien shifters that failed to protect their princess so they have been exiled to earth and if they don't meet their one true mate they will stay permanently in their animal form that is a wolf, dragon bear & tiger The box set compromises
RUKI
Jade employs Ruki as security at the museum she worked at Why was she so attracted to this huge man and why does she feel he has secret She will keep her eye on him and why is Ruki confused by her what is the attraction will he work out what she is to him and will he tell her his secret You will need to read to see.
HUNTER
There is something strange about Celia's client Hunter. What is he hiding and why does she feel a sark whenever she is near him What will she do when she discovers what is secret is Will she give him a chance or will she run
PARSON

A wonderful collection of shifter romance tales
Unlikely Shifters is a wonderful collection of shifter romance tales featuring four royal guards from another planet trying to find their way on Earth. Their stories contain struggles, secrets and a path to happily ever after if they can find it in themselves to walk it. The women must be willing to accept the fact that they are in love with alien shifters and everything that comes with that. Each tale is unique with an overall similar story arc: Man must find mate, woman must accept man and happily ever after arrives after emotional struggle. This is a pleasant take on shifters, aliens and happily ever afters. I would like to have a prequel about the circumstances that caused the men to be cast to Earth and possibly an epilogue of sorts where they search for and find each other to reconnect and stay in touch. (This is just my curiosity coming out.)

3.5 stars
I liked the connections between the MCs. Each story was distinctive enough that they didn't feel like the same story multiple times, but there was enough of a connection to make it flow nicely as a collection. I think Ruki's story was my favorite. Though it took me a little bit to get into the story, once I did I really liked the connection between Ruki and Jade. I thought they made a good couple and I felt more of the connection between them rather than it feeling insta-love (which is how the last two stories really felt for me).
I felt like too much of the world-building was missing. I wanted more background, more about where the heroes came from and what the society was like. They get sent to earth, and appear to have some sort of documentation (especially given Ruki has a normal job), but not much on how that was all set-up.

Ruki: Jade and Ruki different but something pulls them together. Their mating dance is funny in a way but I think it is embarrassing the most.
Hunter: I like the way Hunter tells Celia about himself before he can get carried away. Nice and erotic. Scenes are hot, hot,hot.
Parson: Good story. A lot NOT GOING ON. Not even trying to get to know each other. Finely they kiss and Parson runs to his room. OOOO!! I like his little rant. I'm not going to tell you. You will have to read it yourself. It is a very good story.
Christophe: Sometimes men can be so dense. They can't see what is right in front of them. Vinnie is a darn good secretary and she will always take care of everything. Really good story. I hope that there will be more or at least a review and to see how they fair in the future.

This is great collection of shifter stories centered around four Royal Guard alien shifters – a wolf, dragon, tiger, and bear -- who failed in their duty to protect the princess and are exiled to Earth as punishment to find the female that makes their life complete and keeps their inner animal calm. Despite the difficulties of this task, they have so much to lose if they fail.
You will love the stories as you watch how each of them looks for their mate who can overlook their alien origin and love them. You can’t go wrong with this collection of stories!

This four book boxset is, (as I have come to expect from this author) both exciting in its storyline and relaxing in its ability to carry you off into another world. With the free flowing way it's written, i found it effortless to read. I have read as many of her previous box sets as I can and although this one has a different backstory, this is just as enjoyable as I have found the other books.

Four friends who are shifters find love with their mates far from home. Ruki, Hunter, Parson and Christophe had settled on never finding their mates and decided on finding somewhere safe for their beasts to take over permanently. Crossing paths with four feisty women changed those foolish plans.
I laughed at some of the crazy messes that Jade, Celia, Beth and Vinnie found themselves in.

Unlikely Shifters is a collection of four stories of four shifters that have found themselves exiled on Earth. They not only have to find their place on a new planet but are searching for a mate that will help them keep their shifter sides in check. It was a fun read, good for the times when I want something a little lighter. I liked the characters and the somewhat unconventional premise behind the stories.

This was a great collection and the backstory is a bit different. It's a pretty stiff punishment to get kicked off your own planet. Each of these shifters has resigned themselves to a lonely existence. Each one of the shifters is on the verge of losing themselves to their beast. I liked the suspense each story had and that I was able to read them all at the same time. I volunteered to read an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.

I loved this box set each story was different though linked as that all the shifters came from another plant and all looking for their mate to save them from being their animal full time. All the ladies are very different and fall in love without realising it and the men just need a good push from the beasts. All in all a good read.

This boxset is the compilation of four unique, yet similar stories. Well written, with strong alfa females to complement their male counterparts! There is a bit of a different scenario regarding their background history, and each story takes place in a new location with its own distinctive plot and twists. Well done!

Really exciting and enjoyable set of stories. They are also suspenseful, emotional, surprising and much more. I couldn't put it down. I loved it and consider them well written. The story fits so well fits so well with the characters. Read the blurb, no spoilers. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

Unlikely Shifters by J. S. Striker is four volume collection. It's a unique world build with shifters back story being different. Each book is the story of a different kind of shifter. I hope that J. S. decides to continue writing in the storyline. There are so many places it could go. I revived an ARC from the author. This us my voluntary honest review.

Unlikely Shifters (a wolf, a dragon, a bear, and a tiger) must find their mates to be able to keep their ability to shift and their humanity. I enjoyed each of their stories as they were well written and the characters interesting. Recommend. Received a copy and this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

We have four books about shifters that have been kicked out of their planet for not being able to protect the princess. They must find their mate or forever live in their animal form. Can they do it or living in isolation for the best? These books are a good read. I received a free copy for my honest review

I chose to read and review this book. I love this genre and author. I liked the shifters in this one. The plot flow of events and characters were amazing. I liked how they meet and interact together. It has a lot that kept me reading like action steam suspense sparks that fly everywhere. I recommend this one you will love it.

The premise was interesting but very poorly executed. I always thought that you were ON a planet, not IN it. The stories seemed to be written by an amateur and the English translation didn’t fare very well. Don’t waste your time with this collection. There are sexual scenes that may offend some readers.

A very well-written set of stories there is Ruki and Jade, Hunter and Celia, Beth and Parson, and Christophe and Vinnie's stories each of them kept my interest throughout these books. A set I would recommend.

This set has some great stories. I would recommend it for fans of paranormal romances and sci-fi romances. It has a good mix of stories and really good characters. I liked the couples and felt they all had really good chemistry.

Loved it!
Enjoyed reading about the Unlikely Shifters, Shifters from another planet sent to earth as punishment. Either find their mate to stay a shifter, or shift to their animal and live their life out as that animal. Great read.

Got through two of the books and I was done. It was a just getting good and the story was over. There was just not enough of a story for it to be complete to me, the author could have made these stories much longer. I liked the characters but felt let down when I was really interested.

Four quick reads about men who turned to animals. Sent to earth as a punishment. They need to find their mates before the punishment is permanent. Loved the stories.
