Fighting Jayden

Rate this book
In order to be tough, you gotta learn to roll with the punches. That's the lesson that Jayden is learning at the MMA gym where he works and trains, and it's the lesson he's learning on campus, with the arrogant football jocks. And when two hot jocks threaten to ruin Jayden's reputation unless he pays them money and writes their papers for them, he finds he can't roll with all those punches alone.

He needs the help of his stern but loving roommate, Brodie, as well as all his friends, to hatch a daring plan that might save his reputation, or maybe burn it down forever. Either way, he's going to continue to survive on the sharp edge of pain and pleasure. Even if it means the end of his college career.

This 40,000 word gay romantic friends-to-lovers novel contains scenes of casual sex, spanking, submission and domination, consensual non-monogamy, and menage.

Thomas Carver lives the dream, with one foot in the midwest and one on the west coast. He's been seen at the opera and at the biker bar, a cocktail party and the alley behind the dumpsters. He's worked in the hot sun and the air-conditioned office, and knows all the gradations of pleasure between caviar on his tongue and sand between his teeth.

Jayden certainly gets himself in trouble in this novel. He just can’t help his submissive nature or the fact that he is just a “fag”. He can’t seem to say no to anybody. It’s still a lot of fun and hot sex.

I felt like this series got better with this volume. Nice to see the cast expanded a bit.

I think these books need to be re-edited, as there are some glaring continuity problems and places where the names get mixed up.

Not Just a Pretty Face

Life gets complicated, especially for Jayden who has trouble getting through English Comp class. But he's learning to, literally, roll with the punches. Really enjoyable watching him growing.
