Jack and Sela continue their fight against Nerissa and her soldiers in this second book of the Terran Sea. They discover a black box of information Nerissa held that shows there is land which is a huge revelation since all they have known is water. Although, they don’t really know if this is being too hopeful. What will they find? The audiobook was well done and a must listen.

Excellent!!!

The whole series is great. I have loved every book I have read written by Jenetta Penned. First time I've read anything by David . I love that this story is so unique. It isn't a water down version of anything else . Great read!

Mix of Waterworld, Little Mermaid, Enhanced Humans

This is book two. I will admit that I didn't listen to the first book and was only a little confused in the beginning but it did quickly fill in the gaps. It was a fun mix of enhanced humans meets the movie Waterworld (dystopian) with a flair of Little Mermaid and a touch of Peter Pan. There's lots of action, likeable characters and great world building. It was a clean read free language, bedroom scenes and only and normal fantasy violence (nothing too graphic) that I would place as middle school and up read. If it sounds interesting to you then give it a shot but I would recommend maybe starting with the first book.

The narrator did a great job with the voice differentiation and overall acting.

I received an ARC of the audiobook to review.

In book two, we expand the universe of the Terran Sea. The high stakes, action packed fun of the first book continues here.

What I supremely enjoy about these books is that while they are in an dystopian environment, and bad things happen (it ain't all fun and games, kids!), there's ultimately always a whisper of hope. So many dystopian novels get lost in the despair, the horror, and the negative sides of the world, and they lose that sense of hope that there's always a chance good can triumph over evil. The skill of the two authors is that we don't KNOW they will triumph but we can HOPE along with them. Our heroes aren't naïve about their chances, but they have to try...and that's why I love them.

I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review.

I was really pleased to get the second book as I loved the first and this one didn’t disappoint! It was full of action, intrigue, friendship and love. The world building as last time is so interesting as a world flooded and no land. The view points switch between Jack who I find very amusing he’s very fleshed out character who you can’t help but love even though he has his faults and Sela who is very kickass! It’s interesting to see who is trustworthy or not and the action is perfectly balanced in the story.

I really enjoyed this book, the plot was full of action and intrigue, the characters were relatable and the narration good. The book was based in a dystopian world reminiscent of 'Waterworld' and an evil group named 'the syndicate' maintains control through fear, FMC Sela is strong and determined to do the right thing, free her people with her friends help, Jack. I was hooked from the first chapter and finished far too quickly, and left wanting more, the narration by Aimee Smith and Nicholas Cain was really good. I received this book in exchanged for my honest review.

This is the second book in the Terran Sea series and it picks up where the first book left off. We get to see the expanded world of the Terran Sea and while we do this we see everything that happens in this dystopian environment. They are still fighting Nerissa and while doing so they find a black box that she had that showed that there is land. The narrators are wonderful with the characters and pull you in

After finishing the first book I felt sceptical about this one. I think that the story was great but some good opportunities for character development was missed by focusing on a very boring love angle. I really wish that the whole fantasy world was just a bit more developed. However I can see why people would enjoy it. I think maybe it was just a bit young and I would recommend it to my younger sister.

My review is based on the audiobook. This is book 2 in this action packed series. I love the world the authors have created for this series. The characters are likeable & relatable and I became invested early on. The narrator did a wonderful job bringing the story to life. Be prepared to lose sleep - this is a page turner!!

This story has action, friendship and a little love.

There is no course language, no sex, and violence is kept to the basics. Would be suitable for young teams.

I enjoyed how the story is written and the characters. As they are brought to life by the authors.

Narrated Aimee Smith and Nicholas Cain who gave each character having their own unique voice. At first I was unsure about her voice, but quickly settled in and enjoy the story.

I suggest that you listen to Aimee Smith and Nicholas Cain‘s voices before getting the audio book. I listen to the audiobook on 1.4 speed.

Sela and Jack live in a dystopian world where they have both been experimented on. Jack's new abilities are flight while Sela's are under the water. Both are fighting to free themselves and the other kids from the grips of Nerissa, but as Sela makes her way back home she discovers things are not how she left them including her father who might not be the man she thought he was.

This is a wonderful book alternating views from Sela and Jack. This book is full of action and has twists and turns that will keep you on your toes. The audio is narrated by Aimee Smith and Nicholas Cain, who are both quite talented and play their parts so well, if you get the audio form of the book you won't be disappointed, it is really good. The first book was awesome and this one is just as good if not better I hope there are more to come.
