Seeing the blurb for this in one of my Previews I was intrigued by the plot and hell who doesn’t love horror comics? The downside here is that while the entire run had a great deal of promise, there were just too many plot lines to sew up in a 4 issue run. Yeah, four issues and an ending that is truly frustrating. Bedtime Games could have been great but its short issue length limits the amount of story telling and leaves you wanting more. Hell, Mr. Bedtime deserves his own issue.

When you read a final issue there needs to be some sort of pleasing resolution, but here everything feels a bit rushed and there are a lot of questions left unanswered. This could have gone on longer and allowed to breathe a little, but we have 4 issues that could have been great. The build up was great and the story itself works well in comic form, but a longer run would have really boosted the story. When and if this released as a graphic novel just borrow a copy from the library. I was there from the beginning and I wanted to like this, would have liked it a great deal more had there been more issues. Just 4? Dark Horse really screwed the pooch on this one.
