Good summary of PMBOK

This book is short compared to other preparation books like Rita's. There are some mistakes like the name of the process of control stakeholder engagement is monitor stakeholder engagement. A wrong answer at the simulated exam as well (the feedback does not match the highlighted option, the question about Tuckman ladder). There's little explanation about contract types, I think procurement and risk areas can be explained in a better way. I don't like the suggested method for EVM as well. But at the end, this book really summarizes the needed knowledge in 300 pages.

Most of this book is an advertisement for his e-course. Plus it is him just playing the audio for the videos from his e-course then him telling you that you should go buy it.

I did enjoy the case study. It helped put things together but it’s hard to get past him talking about how great he is.

It's a nice book. I read about it on one of the blogs, so I was curious and got this on Kindle. It uses case study method and follows process group in the order instead of knowledge areas which other PMP books use. I would highly recommend the book.

Many spelling and grammatical errors throughout, and not written in a very professional manner. Also whole practice test is missing from the end of the book. Apart from the modicum of usefulness in reviewing the processes by process group instead of knowledge area, overall this book was a waste of time and money.
