This holiday novella was a sweet and smut-filled medley of awesomeness!! Nick and Holly swiftly found their way to my sweet spot and I couldn't get enough. Without giving away the plot, this story was about a case of mistaken identity and holy heck did it work! Holly had been on a relationship hiatus for five years and Nick hadn't been interested in anything serious. However, from the moment these two met, the stars were aligned or something because they couldn't let each other go. With a ton of dirty Santa lines and some dirty role-playing, these two characters made this story worthy of all five stars!!

I never thought that dirty Santa Claus role-playing would be that hot.
Christmas smut with a dirty-mouth, tattooed, fake Santa explicitly only for grown-up girls.
Nick’s company specializes in adult fantasies. So, when a lonely red-haired lady asks for a Santa to hold her for one night (no sex – these are the rules); Nick makes sure that she will have her wish. Of course there will be a misunderstanding and Nick will meet the wrong lady, but this doesn’t matter. They will still have a great time (sex included – f@ck the rules) with Nick dressed as Santa and Holly behaving like a naughty girl. Holly does not particularly like Christmas or Santa, but she cannot resist this one.
"Come sit on Santa's lap and tell me what you want for Christmas."
When Nick tries to meet again his customer because he can’t stop thinking about her, he will realize that he made a mistake and now maybe he will never see Holly again.
Thank God for the Christmas magic. Santa will meet his naughty girl again :)
Highly recommended if you have fantasies with X-rated Santas.

My review for this one will be super short as the book only took me 45 minutes to read. I'll be honest that these insta-shorties are growing old and stale for me lately but this one was cute and entertaining.
It was well written and well paced. It was super cheesy (but in a good way). The plot was amusing and festive (lol). The sex scene (just one long one) was smokin' hot. It had no angst and no OW drama. It had a smidge of OM drama. Both of the man characters were likable. Nick was spank bank material for sure and Holly was sweet. Last, it ended in a sweet epilogue that gave us a look at this couple one year on. All in all, not a bad read so this one gets two thumbs up from yours truly.

Holly Kline’s having one of those bad shopping days. Nick Jones runs a fantasy business and even I’m not quite sure how or why he mixes up his clients. The set up was weak, making it feel rather bizarre. There’s no build-up or background which translates into zero chance to connect with the characters. The first half plays out like a bad Christmas porn, eye-roll worthy monologue and corny dialogue included.
Forget the guy on the cover because Nick is described as having gray in his real beard. How old is this guy??? I questioned his age at several points.
There’s some OM drama which seems inserted only because there isn’t much else of a story here. I’d venture a guess it’s supposed to make Nick appear alpha, but he sounds immature and not how a successful businessman would really respond. The forced alpha persona turns creepy when Nick spanks Holly in response to a very valid question she asks. That scene just wasn’t cool. Too bad Holly didn’t have more of a backbone.
All in all, this isn’t romance. It’s Christmas erotica with some brief clichéd drama tossed in the middle. Tacking on a HEA epilogue doesn’t make it romance. Told via their alternating dual first person POV, these two are never shown having an actual normal or meaningful conversation together. So if choosing this novella for your own stocking this season and to avoid buyer’s regret, just know what you’re getting and what you’re not.

Załóżmy, że jesteśmy w szkole, a ja jestem nauczycielem i oceniam pracę na 2 na szynach, aby pozbawić ucznia możliwości poprawy, bo poprawia się tylko ndst. Bo kto wie, co by tu jeszcze powstało, gdyby można było się poprawić. Książka tak zła, że aż nie wierzę się na nią skusiłam... Ach, pan Nick uważa, że nie „handluje seksem”, a w trzecim rozdziale już się bzykają, a on jeszcze rozdział wcześniej chce przystroić ją na święta swoim... nasieniem! Przysięgam, że tam tak było!
Mogę dać „zaliczenie” za:
- śliczną okładkę, która poszła na zmarnowanie dla takiego gniotu,
- za seksownego pana na okładce,
- za fajny, luzacki przekład, bez sztywnych... (hehe - tu reprezentuję poziom Nicka i Holly) zdań,
- za to, że jest to krótkie, nie przeżyłabym dłużej tortury,
- tylko dwa razy zrobiłam „facepalm”.
Szkoda czasu, nie polecam!
BTW. oryginalna okładka też mi się podoba, ale nijak ma się do treści, to już polska okładka jest lepsza :D

This is a fab Christmas read. As it’s a short read I read it quickly. It’s just what I needed to spend my evening.
A misunderstanding has Nick in a penthouse suite with Holly. They both get more than they bargained for when they have a one night stand. However Nick wants more than a one night stand. He needs to find Holly first.
This is a brilliant hot standalone. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Nie wiem. Naprawdę nie wiem. Nie widzę w tym łajnie nawet minimum potencjału i chęci. Niby ""pracowały"" nad nim dwie osoby, ale wszystko i tak wygląda jak napisany na kolanie rozdział do jakiegoś niskich lotów opka na Wattpadzie. Chociaż strzelam, że są tysiące lepiej napisanych fanfików-pornosów, gdzie bohaterowie nie opisują w dialogach swoich łóżkowych planów, by potem powtórzyć to samo, tylko że w myślach. I tak przez jakieś sto stron z przerwą na dwie strony pozornej fabuły, która wniosła wyłącznie tyle, że ten zbereźny pan mikołaj to w sumie wpływowy jest. Aha, no i oczywiście wszystko przepełnione jest ŚMIESZNYMI NAWIĄZANIAMI DO ŚWIĄT (bo wiecie, mikołaj ma między nogami dużą cukrową laskę, a Holly jest na liście niegrzecznych dziewczynek). Niby ta broszurka nie jest droga, bo można ją kupić za mniej niż 20 zł (+ potencjalne koszty dostawy), ale i tak zaskakuje mnie, że autorki miały czelność żądać za to cholerstwo jakiekolwiek pieniądze.
Jedynym plusem jest fakt, że jakby się uprzeć, to można przeczytać całość w mniej niż godzinę (co pewnie i tak zrobiłam, ale przerwa na powrót do akademika i zjedzenie pizzy była chyba o wiele bardziej rozwijająca od całej książki).

Well that was short and sweet - definitely a bite size read. Not that much plot but a novella and a little one at that. Nick owns a company that fulfills dreams for women. When someone calls in sick, he steps in to play Santa Claus who picks up the client in the park and takes her back to the penthouse suite. Holly is the woman he mistakes for the client. She thinks he's a bad ass tattoed Santa, he thinks she's someone else and the next thing you know they're naked playing their own version of Naughty or Nice. This was a super quick read, definitely not mentally challenging. Sexy, hot and enough Santa puns to border on downright cheesy but it captured the holiday spirit so what more can one expect from the title???? Judging it on solely what it was meant to be, I'll give it a 3.75. Happy Holidays indeed!
