This is the 1st in a new series, and this is Landon and Livie’s journey. Landon is charming and caring and is a star football player who broke the bro code rule, when he fell for his best friend’s little sister Livie, back when they were in college. Livie is feisty and a tad broken, and she has now sworn off me after a series of abusive relationships and focuses on her work at the woman’s shelter. When Livie and Landon cross paths during Spring break, the sparks fly between them, but can he convince her to take a chance on them being together? This is a beautifully written story which has emotions, humor, intrigue, engaging and realistic characters, passion, friendships, family, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

loved Livie and Landon
Oh my gosh I loved this story. Initially Both Livie AND Landon gave me whiplash with their back and forth antics and drama. Drama makes for the most beautiful HEA in the end though. I adore that it was Landon that never gave up and fought for their love when Livie couldn’t.
I am excited to see what comes next in the Knights Football series!

Great debut by Lyla Grace
Who doesn't love a best friend's sister romance? This one teams a sexy but caring football player with a feisty but broken heroine. There is a lot of steam with this one so be ready. There is definitely instalove on Landon's part, but Livie pushes back enough that the "I love you's" don't come too early. I would have loved a little more character development, but was really impressed as this is Grace's first book. Definitely looking forward to reading more from her in the future!

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were fun and well written. While the first issue the couple faces is the fact that Livie, the main female character is the sister of Landon, the main male character in the book. But, it's not the only issue they have to overcome. I found many of the scenes and discussions to be very realistic. There were definitely some steamy scenes in here. Overall it was a great book and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Heartbreaking and heartwarming
Landon and Livies story is both, heartbreaking and heartwarming. Livie is in a bad relationship when she meets Landon for the first time. Landon feels himself attracted to his bestfreinds little sister. But at their first meeting it is not the right time.
Years later and after an secret week together also years ago both paths cross again. But Livie has trust issues and so it is a back and forth between these two. Which is sometimes really heartbreaking. Knowing their backgrounds you understand they more or less.
I really liked Landon and his will never give up. Livie is a little stuck in her head and has to learn to trust and love.
I am exited for Chase's story.

Finally got a chance to sit down and read this book. I think one of the best thing I can say about this story is that as I was reading it I would totally forgot about who wrote it. And since I personally know and love the author I just thought that was amazing. Awesome job! So proud of you Lyla Grace.

I really liked this book. It was a fun summer read. The characters were very likable and I was really invested in them. It's not overly angsty, which was a nice change of pace. I would definitely recommend this book.

I don't get why he was saying their relationship was so wrong when her brother (his best friend) obviously was okay with it. Her brother was more worried about the MMC than his own sister. - which how he treats his sister at the end, its obvious why ( like the rest of the fam - he feels a type of way about her - he has to)
So he wasn't doing anything to prove he wasn't into other women to begin with. Multiple situations happened in the book where he did nothing when other women hit on him. Holly from the bar - he went along with it even though FMC was right there. Then Holly said looks like he wanted it or whatever when the FMC tried to stake her claim and Holly was right. MMC could've pushed her away, told her he was taken, SOMETHING to let her know that he was no available.
Her sister and stepmom - MMC knew how they treated her and what they were trying to do and again he didn't tell the step sister to fuck off or the step mom that it was never going to happen. Making her fight for them alone. He could've said he loved her like he did his father or don't touch me something - so when the shit with Ash happened - I understand WHY she freaked - more than just hearing Ash tell her to her face he was with her, she had no reason to not believe her and believe him - HE GAVE HER NO REASON to think he wouldn't do that.
I don't even want to with Ashlynn. Ok yeah - Livie hurt him but he KNEW how she was. He knew she pushed when scared and shit got real - he told her countless times before she could push him all he wanted, he wasn't going anywhere - and the first time shit gets real .... where was he? He had no idea about what Ash told her in the bathroom, but he didn't need to know about that. When he saw her walk up he should've made it clear its not how it looked... because he knew as soon as he saw her how it looked! He should've pushed Ash away, took Livie outside and explained. (and this where I say Fuck her brother Chase - Im glad Harper cheated on his ass - the way he treated his sister- throwing another girl at the guy she loves trying to get him to sleep with her is fucked up he obviously doesn't care about his sister)
Instead of making Livie understand nothing was going on he fed into it telling her she had no right blah blah blah. He never finds out about the shit Ash told her either and I feel like there that's been left open - I would've liked to of seen their friendship end or something come from that because what she said and did was wrong.
Even though, I feel more needed to be resolved in their relationship, its still a good read. Everything from her leaving him up to the end of the story just feels like was not resolved. He just decides he wants her back and that's it... after everything.. IDK It just feels unfinished. But I loved the story until that point.

This book man... the rollercoaster ride that LM Reid takes you on gives you whip lash. But they've both been through some hard things and what's a romance novel without some drama. So the back and forth is a neccesary evil.

She's got major trust issues and at times i just want to shake her! But I love her sass and how passionate she is. Landon a little closed off but in a sense that he just doesn't want to ever feel the pain he went through again but also willing to put himself out there for Livie. They both have scars. But when they get past all that with time they both grow and heal and are truly perfect for one another! This book left me wanting more of them being together at the end but overall a good read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ out of 5!!

Landon falls head over heels the first time he meets Livie when he is still in college, but he won’t do anything about it because of Chase.
Years later they meet again and Livie dares him to kiss her. This is the start of their little fling in Mexico.
After Mexico, Livie still denies her feelings for Landon, still feeling unworthy. But Landon never gives up. He agrees to her terms, just so he can easily win her over in time.
I loved spending time in their world. You can just see how perfect they are for each other.
The book is well-written and easy to read with lots of steamy scenes.

Livie has dealt with some things in her past that has made her put her walls up. She is anti-relationship and does not trust easily. I did love the fiesty, sassy and determine character that she is.
Landon is a professional football player that tries his hardest to stay away from Livie since she’s Chase’s sister - his best friend. He is kind, patient and quite smexy.
These two turn on the heat and can’t stay away from one another. Can they face the storm of their past, their present and future to make it as a couple? Fantastic book with great lead and supporting characters.

Would you ever date your best friends little sister? Well that is exactly one rule that Landon had a very hard time with in this story. Landon finds himself very attracted to his best friends Chase younger sister alivie. In this book Landon knows that his best friend’s sister is off limits, but there is just something about Livie he can’t deny calls to him. He tries so hard to stay away and fight his attraction to her if he can, but fate has other ideas. Livie has had a hard life and she chooses the wrong guys to date and is always just looking for a good time. While I understood the reasons behind her decisions there were still times, she irritated me. I loved Landon and wanted him to find his happiness, but it was hard to connect with Livie. Overall, this was a good read, and I did enjoy their back and forth.

Landon and Livie go back and forth a lot. They have an amazing connection and hot chemistry but can they figure everything else out? Can they figure everything out to have a real relationship? I really Liked Landon, Livie drove me a little crazy. Landon is Livie’s brother friend and doesn’t want to cross that line, but knows he needs to. As these two figure out what they really are to each other life goes on. I enjoyed This book and look forward to reading more in this series.

I am a sucker for the brother's best friend trope. Whatever She's Got did not disappoint. London and Livie have some off the charts chemistry. I loved them together and London is swoonworthy. Livie has good reason to be weary of relationships but who would treat you better than someone your brother loves and trusts. I love the drama this type of situation causes, it is definitely an entertaining read.

I'm a fan of best friends brother/sister tropes but not when they deny their feelings because of it. If I'm not good enough for my best friend's sibling then I'm not gonna be friends with that person any more

Down to earth story with real issues on Domestic abuse and mental abuse with a HEA. Reads quick, characters are likable, story very realistic.
