This is a cute book for preschoolers and kindergarten children. The setting is a day at the zoo. A particular animal or group of animals is identified. Children are then asked to find another animal hidden in the picture that is different. It promotes visual discrimination and allows the child to add additional animals to her knowledge base. The author also uses color cues to prompt identification, which assists readers in identifying colors.

Illustrations are large and colorful, appearing in double-page spreads. Highly recommended as a bedtime story or read aloud to promote interactive discussion.

This is a different type of story. You get to add to it. Each page has a question about an animal in the zoo you get to answer. Sound like fun?. There are also coloring pages in the back. Let's get started.
I have picked a few to share. There are crocodiles in the water. There is also a black and white animal swimming. What is it? Is it a skunk? No, it's a penguin. Silly me. Let's try another. There are ostriches with lots of feathers and a big green animal sitting on a rock. What is it? No, it's not a lizard? It's a frog. I leave the rest for you to have fun with. Happy reading/listening!!
